4 months late to this video, but this helped me diagnose a rattle I had on the mirror. Those 8mm bolts are really not tight at all. I could finger tighten mine after popping the quarter panel off. Thanks for your efforts

Thank you for this. Only noticed recently (after purchasing a Giulietta 2012/62 last month) that the Passenger side mirror is screwed/glued on and ready to fall. So many different part number for these mirrors that i'm not sure which to get. Some start with a 1 and some with a 5 and some have blue mirrors and some clear (which i need), and some also state 2010-2013 and some are 2013-2016 but look identical. Any thought? Thank you.
Hi Dan. I’m guessing that there will be differences between the part numbers for ones that fold electrically and those that don’t. I think some are heated too. Obviously from a year selection, pick the one that matches your car.

Hi Tony. It is terrible to have the connector inside the panel! For example, in the Fiat Panda it is much easier to remove the rearview mirror because the connector is inside the inner plastic triangle. Question: Is this the same engineer who designed the wiring for the rear hatch wires?

Hi Tony, how well did the mirror seat with the broken clip after tightening up the three bolts? I assume that the clip is purely to stop the mirror from falling out before putting in the three bolts during production.
Hi mrcaps... Yeah it was perfect to be fair, no issues at all. Hopefully when the weather gets hot and things start to expand it won't be an issue.
