I agree with you there. Ireland may be a nice country in the terms of the landscape and things like that, but in general, its a crap place to live. The crowd thats in the government now are the worst I have ever seen (not to say the crowd before were any better). I myself will probably never get a house the way things are going on. Where I live, many people are living in stationary caravans behind their parents houses or are living in log cabins or prefabricated sheds all because they couldn't afford to rent a house, nevermind getting a mortgage for one. I have cousins who moved to Perth in Australia about 10 years ago and they are thinking of moving back to Ireland. I think they are mad. Moving away from a country which has grand weather most of the time, not being screwed to the wall with high taxes and better life in general.

Ah great video pal and never a true word said.Same in UK too .I drove 8 wheel tippers around Manchester UK my home town and have recently moved to Castlebar Mayo where my wife is from as she wanted to move back since having a baby 19 months ago.Not worked since moving over last October cos of da hassle exchanging my UK license to an Irish one and have to re do my CPC modules as dince Brexit Ireland doesn’t expect UK CPC if resident in Ireland.Expensive cost of living compared to Manchester and no NHS so have to pay €50 just to see a bloody doctor.I should have stayed in Manchester 🙄

At the moment it’s joint third with Denmark as the most expensive to live in Europe, and thirteenth most expensive in the World!! Something wrong somewhere. Keep her between the hedges man 👍.

Nice to hear the opinions of an ordinary irish worker trying to do his best and contribute to his country and get very little in return for it, while at the same time many people have a much better time reaping the benefits that these workers create with hand outs and free housing.
    Can be very demoralizing.

I went to a very ordinary school. Was from a poor area in the west of Ireland. Most of my classmates sat staring out the window every day and I didn't. They thought I was a tosser but it was clear to me from a young age what I needed to do to get on. I now meet these guys as an adult and they whinge and moan like this guy. They feel the world owes them a living. It doesn't.

Some people are born natural academics, others are natural tradesmen, lorry drivers , factory workers or shite shovelers, each to their own I guess, seems to me that the school teachers in the wesst of Ireland must have been very laxy daisy about their students futures if staring out the windows was tolerated behavior? Did you say, " If I study hard enough, some day I'll be that teacher, not giving a shite and counting down the days to summer hols" ? Ha , seriously though, you were right to get the head down and study.

listening to your vids tells me that you are your own worse enemy ,you have a articulated vehicle license yet do not or will not use it ,either through fear or inexperience , and the inexperience will hold you back the longer you leave it ,,so either get your head down and find work on artics or just admit that you have wasted your money ,,if ireland is that bad then why not contact a european haulage company and go and work there ,ok you might be living in the cab 24 ,,7 ,,but at the same time you will be saving money hand over fist , which will enable you to look for a house in europe , as house prices are a lot cheaper there ,,or failing europe go to america or canada and do the same thing ,,,but by working 9 to 5 is not going to solve the problem ,,,,

I'll be looking for a new job in the next few weeks on the artics. Have a couple companies ready to give me a shot on the artics. The only thing really holding me back is on the rigids the money is similar and less hastle really. Im gonna put the artic lisence to use but it has to suit me first to move if that makes sense. I have a young daughter so she keeps me here for now anyways.
