Excellent vids as always primo. One of the better thorough channels for OBS content, and you have experience. Appreciate you adding links in the descriptions. Thumbs up from me 👍🏽.
@@LowLifeYonkes You're welcome. Also, a lot of people on OBS group pages are interested in manual to electric window conversion so this install. You should add it in your video title for more views.
Thanks for the video. Do you have a video on what you did to power the windows? I changed the factory wiring and I can't together them to operate. I can use a drill motor and get them to roll up so I know the regulators are good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
No I don’t sorry u usually test the window motor and lock actuator with my drill battery so I know they are good if they don’t work at that point I replace the window motor or lock actuator but I do all the fuse checks before to make sure they are getting power
I have a 97 chevy work truck i have some door panels from 97 tahoe, basically i want convert thw manual windows to power, i want to use the factory power window switches can you tel me how to test the pins from the switch to figure out which power the driver side and passenger side
The only way I do a swap from manual to power it with the stock wiring harness so I can make in plug and play with power windows locks and power seats but I haven’t done them any other way sorry
@@LowLifeYonkes Endurapin out of South Dakota has tool steel door pins! Those pins are drilled out at the bottom of the pin to insert a roller pin in the event they back out for whatever reason. I've never heard of that happening, personally, but it's a nice touch for added peace of mind. They also make tool steel bushings but I already bought the bushing set and roller pin from Cunningham Machine.
I have a 92 single cab,…i wanna replace my doors cause they have a few dents,..is it possible to convert them to the 95-98 model¿ (mytruckispowerwindowslocks)
Yes you could do that but the door skins wouldn’t match I have seen guys upgrade there interior to 95 and newer in the older trucks including dash board and door skins
