Hello, I bought a raptor 700, year 07, and it arrived with a hidden problem with the radiator fan. After watching your video I was able to establish that the problem is in the termal breaker, because a SPAL fan was installed. Thank you very much for the useful information.
I don't ever enter on videos, but I appreciate this one. Finally, a video that helped me diagnose why my fan was not working took it to 3 (car mechanics) they could not diagnose it. Turned out to be the thermal breaker. Can't find a replacement, so I'm planning to just put an in-line fuse 10amp and remove the thermal breaker.(not sure if it's the right thing to do but the only thing I can think of
I had a fan issue a couple years ago on my 2018. Fan not running, overheat light came on. Turned out to be corrosion in the relay connector. Cleaned and dielectric greased it.
A question I installed a new fan 12v fan and when I jump it through the red/yellow wire it fires right up I have a 2006 raptor 700r but when I don’t jump it only runs very low and turns off repeatedly like if it doesn’t have enough power any suggestions on what the issue could be? @CuervoATV
These raptors run hot, gotta make sure that radiator fan is working. My raptor runs great in the fall and winter..the summer and she gets sluggish like the rest of us.
Can you touch base on what to do if you ground the relay and fan comes on? Trying to ohm test the coolant sensor. Seems to function correctly but I’m not sure I’m setting my meter to the right ohm setting. When the light came on I was reading 140ish ohms on the 200 setting.
@@87Murdock yea bro I ended up wiring a switch and tapping into that wire in order to power it, so now I can have my fan on whenever I want, but it’ll turn off too once you turn off the quad since the battery turns off you know, I can show you pics tm send your number

Can you help me find the fuel pump relay on this unit ?
2:05 Could I just use that relay trick and just add a switch between the relay and ground to run my fan when I like.
What type of thermo breaker should I use with aftermarket cooling fan?
How would you wire the early on kit to be the primary way the fan comes on? As mentioned around 10:20
Same as installed

i was thinking about getting aftermarket fan and radiator but im just keeping stock now ..ty
Mishimoto, spal fan, and early kit on
Hi, how are you ? I'm from Argentina. I'm wondering what temperature does prebder rl elctro friend
How can I verify that my ECU works, I have already tested all of the above and I have power.
Thanks! I used a jumper and my fan didn't kick on. I did hear the relay just gonna go ahead and order the fan
Hello how but if I have not power out from.the relay what should I do?
Is the stock fan the best one to run or is there another, better option?
So if my fan works when I ground it to the bolt, what’s the problem? I didn’t quite catch that part..
Same issue here. Did you figure it out?
Yeah same issue bro
