This is my favorite type of video that you make, because it has such great application for the homeowner. It is what started saving my lawn and bringing it back 2 years ago. And you're right about Celsius and certainty. Great combination especially for deep South Bermuda. Sometimes I will add quinclorac and MSM Turf to take care of the torpedo grass and bahia. Thanks for the great content.
I like the combination of Certainty and Celsius. Had good success controlling Dallis Grass. Such a nuisance grass. About like Poa, except Poa dies out in the heat.
Dallisgrass is terrible. I get that, plus I also get torpedo grass. I think it's worse. Kind of like a vindictive ex girlfriend who won't leave you alone. It took forever for my poa annua to die out last year. Whatever I put on it this year seems to be starting to stunt it. Either the Celsius, the certainty, quinclorac, or the 2 4 D. Maybe just a combination of everything.
Your videos are awesome! Keep it up! I hope you're able to charge your customers a premium with your attention to detail. The service companies I used here (before doing things myself) are terrible and apply generic applications without paying attention to what the yard actually needs.
Hi Jason, love your videos. They have helped me a lot to grow a better lawn. I have emerald and zeon zoysia here in North Carolina. I get a fair amount of yellow nutsedge and perennial broadleaf weeds in the turf even with a pre-emergent. I purchased Celsius and Sedgehammer to deal with these weeds. I am wondering; is it okay to mix these two herbicides together in the same tank and spray together? Thanks and keep of the great work!
Jason, many herbicide labels just calls for a certain number of fluid ounces or pints of product per area to be treated but doesn't tell you how to mix it for spot spraying with a hand or backpack sprayer. Say for example, a 3-way calls for 48 oz per acre. How would you mix it for spot spraying? I mean if I was to blanket spray using a hand or backpack sprayer, I could calibrate it and figure out how much product to add but when I'm spot treating, I walk around and I zap each individual weed with a 2 or 4 gallon sprayer. If the yard doesn't have a lot of weeds, 1 gallon goes a lot further than a yard full of weeds for spot spraying. There's probably a bunch of variables in the calculations but is there a rule of thumb professionals convert something like 1 oz/1000SF or 32 oz/acre is equivalent to X ounces per gallon for spot spraying? Thank you.
My problem is with Spurge in my summer Bermuda. I heard you say Change Up works. Do you think it would work here in Phoenix on Spurge? I prefer to spot treat Spurge. Great informative video...thank you. Subscribed- Yes!
Good video Jason I seen a video of yours a few months ago about MSM Turf herbicide I bought it I live in Pennsylvania I have a little bit over an acre just confused with the amount per gallon for my 4 gallon back sprayer what would you advice for cool session grass🤙🏽
Jason, Ive heard using these for broadleaf weeds and sedges as well as crabgrass control but I have a real issue with rescuegrass in the spring to early summer. What are your suggestions to control this nasty grassy weed?
Hi, would you recommend Celsius or Quinclorac for Southern crabgrass on newly seeded TXD bermuda lawn. My lawn was Hydromulching back in mid April but the ground temperature was in the mid 50s and took to mid May for it to reach 65s for the bermuda seeds to germinate. By then, the crabgrass already had a month head start and now covering more than 70% of my 6500 sq.ft lawn. I was told to live with it for this first season and use pre-emgerent this coming season to handle the crabgrass. But seeing I have so little bermuda, I now wanting to kill of the crabgrass to give the remaining bermuda a chance to grow. What's your thought on this. Please reply: I really need your help. Thanks! Edit: I'm near Dallas TX area
Just got Celsius and that mso surfactant you recommend ,I got Dallis grass in my new sod . I used round up for my old grass before I put down new sod and it came back .. Will those too work Jason ???
I use the high application rate when I'm trying to kill Dallisgrass. Otherwise, I mid rate is sufficient. I use Change Up a lot on centipede Lawns once it turns fully green
Jason i really need your help with one weed i dont know what it is i already did blindside can u send me your email so i can send u pictures please i have st agustine in south texas .. pleaseeeeee
I started using Certainty this year and I've been pretty impressed. It kills a lot of different types of weeds. I mix it with a broadleaf control.

Yes, I do think change up will work but I would not worry about it this late in the year
What does everybody here use, post-emergent wise, on Dormant Bermuda lawns to control weeds?
Celsius. Tenacity..
Glyphosate if totally dormant
Spectracide hose spray.
I live in Maryland and my yard is crazy smothered with Crabgrass and Bermuda grass. I cannot stand it. Please provide me a recommendation.

I would not spray it but if you do, I would use quinclorac. Even a little Bermuda can fill in next year. Not much time left this year
@@lawncarelife thanks alot for your prompt reply. Very appreciated!

awesome content..can you mix celsius and blindside in one application?? i have St Aug... appreciate your knowledge!
It would be an expensive application but i imagine you can. I would go with the low rate on St Augustine grass
Can you use tribute in February on Bermuda? What temp should I wait to use it?
Hi Jason are you available for a question or two??
I live in central Ohio and have started to see Johnson Grass in my yard. What herbicide would you recommend?
Great video! Do you use the high application rates for both the Celsius and Certainty when combining? I have centipede grass. Thanks again!
I use the high application rate when I'm trying to kill Dallisgrass. Otherwise, I mid rate is sufficient. I use Change Up a lot on centipede Lawns once it turns fully green
Can Katana Turf herbicide, work to kill Poa in Tall Fescue without damaging it?
No. It will damage fescue
@@lawncarelife Thanks, for the reply. 🤙🏽
Can you mix blindside and celsius?
Celcius can slow down the growth of st. Augustine
How do you control soft rush weeds?
I think it's on the label for Katana. I want to try that myself to see if it works
You missed Celcius completely. Im trying to get rid of Carpet Grass. Im told Celcius is good for that
Celsius is very good for carpetgrass

Any non-toxic alternatives to these terrible chemicals?
These are not terrible chemicals. Each one takes an average of 10 years, of research and EPA approval.
Apple Cidar vinegar on grass on a hot day or Clorox if it’s on cement.
Err for a slow learner, please separate these products into buffalo safe and not buffalo (St augustine grass}safe !!
