    Benji is such an important part of Yoga With Adriene that I sifted through all of these videos to find out how old he is. He's so calm and slow moving that I feared he was kind of old. Good to see that he has many co-host years ahead!

      @@joseequihua7701 He's an Australian Cattle Dog aka blue heeler. I have four heelers and that was one of my attractions to Adriene's yoga!

      Just remember that heelers aren't usually quite that mellow. Benji is just channeling Adrienes energy or something 😂 Heelers are active, sometimes pretty hyper, working dogs who need lots of excercise and work to fulfill their needs. Just in case someone thinks they're always as laid back as Benji..

    Hey Adriene - I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for this video and everything you do with your channel and beyond. I stumbled upon your "30 Days of Yoga" challenge a few months ago and I haven't looked back since. I struggle with depression and anxiety and yoga was always something I'd wanted to practice but the videos, etc. that I encountered in the past left me dissatisfied and frustrated. Your non-judgemental, forgiving attitude and sense of humour has encouraged me to stick with it and now I hate to go a day without at least a bit of time on the mat. Your approach to the practice has had an incredibly positive influence on both my mental and physical health (and I don't say that lightly). Please keep up the amazing work!

      +summer watt Don't know about her, but I gained flexibility and balance. Sadly, I didn't loose weight, but I have noticed nice changes in my body, like a flatter stomach.

    Dude. I know this is super old, but I never watched it before and just happened to click over after completing today's Home practice for the 30 days. How is it possible you would talk about "anchoring yourself in this reality" and "how would you change your strategy if every thought came true" when this is essentially what my entire therapy session yesterday was about. I was having awful anxiety yesterday and this just concisely captured the essence of what I needed in recent days. 💋

    Dear Adriene,
    You and your channel have truly helped to pull me out of a dark time in my life. I lost my mom to cancer about a year ago and the emotional devastation caused me to fall into some extremely unhealthy and destructive habits. It wasn't until I had stumbled upon your channel about 3 months ago that I began to consistently practice yoga. Through your lively and encouraging spirit, I've come to love yoga as it has taught me to cherish my body and mind. Thank you for your generous guidance in making these videos and inspiring me to find the best version of myself again... And your dog is super adorbs!!

    Adriene, I know this is an old video but I've just started your 30 day yoga challenge (I'm on day 11) and I just wanted to say a huge thank you. I struggle with anxiety and can feel quite down sometimes, and a hot shower followed by one of your yoga videos has proved to be absolutely invaluable in turning my mood around and stopping me obsessing over the same thoughts over and over again. I can't even tell you how grateful I am. I didn't realise how yoga could seep into all aspects of your life, and how it's all about self-care, I used to just think it was holding some poses on a mat... but just 11 days in I can see and feel how it is changing things for me. THANK YOU!!!! :) Here's to many more happy yoga days.

    Adriene, I've said it before and I say it again: You're a godsend to me. My left hip was killing me and I was taking painkillers daily. I had also hurt my left ankle from a fall accident, and I had just killed my muscles by not using them. My hammies were super-tight.
    I gave myself a new year resolution that I would find a solution to my problems at the turn of 2014/15, and found you. I found your hip opener videos, and I was astonished how quickly my hip pain went away. Then I found your hammie stretchy videos and fixed the tightness in the leg. I'm pain-free, all thanks to you. You're the best thing that's happened to me in the longest time. All my love to you, dear Adriene. Keep rockin'

      Boy, I can't wait until my right hip loosens up. I'm in pain every day! Can't walk more than a mile without major limping going on. Sciatic pain is daily too. I'd love to know what all you are doing for your hip!

    Hi Adriene! I have NEVER practiced yoga until a friend referred me to your videos. I am commenting on this video bc I am hearing you speak about how your/my yoga has moved on to other areas then the mat. I couldn't agree more!!
    I do anesthesia for a living and that can bring on excess boredom and terror all in the same case. Not to mention the long hours with a lack of sleep and less me/family time. Over the last couple of weeks I unintentionally began practicing at work, in the store, at the bank, or wherever my patience may be running thin. :c) It is as simple as finding my breath or adding in a couple forward folds --> flat back--> forward fold --> reaching up --> you get where I am going; I can't thank you enough. My 4 am 'Yoga with Adriene' gets my day started right! Most rewarding of all, yoga has made me feel more relaxed, happy, patient, and I feel like I am one with my energy. That may sound crazy, but it is the only way I could describe it. Thank you for this experience. Yoga keeps my muscles tone, my joints flexible, and my mind sound.

I know that even if I'm giving myself a hard time about life/work/love you're a great person to give me a reminder to not take things so seriously and that message is not as commonly heard as you'd think.     Thank you ☺️ I found your videos when I was in a bad place within my own head about a year ago and your videos were one of the few things I looked forward to. I then got pregnant and stopped doing the yoga, just because I wasn’t physically able as I was so ill but couldn’t wait to start again. Our little girl actually died during labour and it’s been pretty horrific but I’m finally in a place where I can see the light again and the first thing on my mind was your videos. Doing the 30 day challenge and I’m loving every second. It’s the highlight of my day and it gives me the little boost that gets me through the rest of my day and i wish I’d started again sooner. So much love and gratitude to you 💕

    That forward fold reset is something I've been doing lately. It really works! Was feeling a little weird about doing it in public, but that doesn't bother me anymore. It helps alleviate stress and anxiety, gives me a boost. Most importantly, like you have said many times in your videos, it allows me to practice yoga off the mat and be present, open and compassionate in any situation. Your own compassion and understanding has allowed me to practice more too, and overcome my perfectionism and to just be myself. It's about showing up and doing what I can, and if that means child's pose for a few breaths, or dropping that knee when it's not feeling right, that's okay! Thank you so much for your light and for your own personality that you bring. I often end up doing the same quirky break outs into song and laughing at the same stuff so it's a bright spot on any day! Namaste.

    I love how you said to have "self love" and then mentioned doing something nice for someone else. I believe the term self love can be misunderstood and become "self centered" and/or "selfish". I truly believe that loving yourself is needed and necessary to ultimately help others, which is the best gift we can experience. :) Thank you for your vids! I love them!

    I was looking for a video for back pain and I found this vlog. So nice to see this Adriene of 8 years ago...
    Making funny of talking about stretching naked in bed and getting 10 millions subscribers, knowing that she did it less than 5 years later just by bringing yoga and self respect it's awesome to think.
    Pandemics of course help a lot, but there are so many people looking for self care, self respect, and all those things you get from the mantra Finds what feels good.
    I'm here with these practices for almost 6 years now and I've changed completely. Looking Adriene and her talking so wisely even at this young age, make me think how awesome is to be part of this community. Love you all.
    Adriene you're the best teacher, even though we may not see each other even once. Thank you.

    Just want to say thank you :) I have a trapped nerve in my lower back and my flexibility was awful. After 4 years of acute pain and surgery (which didn't work!) I have finally found some comfort and ease. It has also opened up a new sense of wellbeing and peace, which has been truly lovely. I feel hope for the future now, and your easy non-judgmental attitude and kindness speaks volumes. Namaste from England!

    Thank you for sharing. Your videos have been a huge part of my healing. You make yoga feel more down to earth & doable to those of us newer to the practice. On another note, I had a red healer, best dog, so smart, amazing💛... but she had oodles of energy! Needed 3 hour hikes and lots of stimulus. It's so funny to see such a mellow healer. Benji is a doll. Love seeing him in videos. Love all dogs, but definitely a soft spot for healers. Lots of love to both of you. Much gratitude.

    I want to thank you for your realness and honesty! It's so refreshing. I decided to start yoga about a month ago, knowing I needed to stretch and heal my body. I found you and instantly fell in love! You see, I'm 38, and in April of 2015, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I had a chemo, a bilateral mastectomy, radiation and a complication after surgery that almost took my life... along with another surgery that saved it, but also caused more damage to my right chest. I was always a "flexible" person, and now I can barely get my arms behind my back. My PT says I have full range of motion, but it's not my FROM. I just finished day 24 of the 30 day challenge, and I'm getting my ROM back! There are hiccups along the way, because of my job as a server at a pizza joint (I hear you like pizza), but I wake up almost every morning now, looking forward to what your practice is going to teach me that day. Every day is a day of survival for cancer survivors. I'm learning this. It's not something most people think about. Like myself, I thought, once you've kicked it's ass, you're good. I've learned, that's not the case... AT ALL! Every day I struggle with pain from the drugs I need to take to keep it from coming back and from the surgeries. But now before I get out of bed, I've learned to roll my wrists and roll my feet, and show this body a little extra love. I get my 3 boys off to school, and I do my morning yoga practice, and my body feels better. I feel better in my skin! You've given me that, and I thank you! From the bottom of my heart... THANK YOU! Perhaps one day, you'll be back in the Seattle area, and I'll get to meet you and treat you to a mean margarita and pizza from my place!. ;-) Sincerely, Katie @katiesimmons10

    Dipped in and out of the 30 day yoga camp during my last year of uni, so just wanted to say thank you for getting me through. When I felt lost under the pressure of uni, family and just being a human a daily practice just gave me the space the to collect my being.Thank you for being awesome :)

    What I realised was when you give yourself that freedom, that acknowledgement, not today, it means when you show up you are there, you are present, and it fills every step with true intention.
    Going through a few things right now, and just acknowledging this in other areas of my life.

    You're so sweet! Benji's like 4 or something like that now, how exciting! I feel like the growth on your journey is amazing, keep finding what feels good! I love what yoga is for you, which sounds like life/meditation/awareness. I am a big fan of yoga, as it's made me feel like I can truly do anything. I have already wept joy after several practices from your TRUE series, and I got very emotional on day 30 of your Dedicate series hahaha, it was very nice! Thank you so much for all the hope and light you inspire others to hold for themselves and alongside you. I discovered your channel maybe 6-10 months ago from another channel I watch called Rainbow Harmony. So truly I am quite new to this yoga journey, but of course I found it at the right time ^.^ I am optimistic that I can heal my spine but I'm also fine with whatever happens lol.     Thank you so much Adrien. I have been doing 30 days yoga for 10 days! It's been amazing! I start my day with you positive attitude and light body. It's my routine now. I did yoga class 10 years ago and I was very committed then. I feel exactly same this time. I wish you lived in my town amd being my yoga teacher but I am grateful that I can do this online. Great!     Hello Adriene. I found your channel earlier this year after a foot injury kept me from my daily walking meditation. I was looking for something to release stress. I have finished your 30 days and love it so much that I joined the yoga class at my gym. You have helped me learn so much and my mantra is now to be nice to myself. and stop being mean to myself when I don't live up yo what I think I "should" be.

    Hi Adrienne, just wanted to thank you so much for your channel, your amazing content, videos and personality ! Yoga was always something I wanted to do as a musician but I never managed to be brave enough to start and always told myself I couldn't do it because I was so so bad at any type of physical exercise and my asthma made it difficult !!! 2 months ago I nearly died and had a prolonged stay in the hospital. Getting so sick and feeling that I was such a stranger to my body and so disconnected was a true revelation. I discover your videos a while back and have been going to the mat nearly daily since then ! I can already see such positive changes !!! I was left very weakened and with many tensions and now I already feel so much stronger, confident and comfortable in myself physically and emotionally. I know it is a long comment, sorry for babbling but I really wanted to thank you !

    Its April 2021 and I just requested to join the Kula ... please let me join! Anyways, whilst I was doing that I saw the Happy Holidays + My Christmas Present (VLOG) where Adriene introduced her new puppy Benjii.... so cute. I had seen it before, but who can resist watching a new puppy giving his parent some luving! It's a funny thing that when I mention to friends about Yoga with Adriene they already know about the channel - isn't that great. I'm wondering how many followers are younger people. My 2 children are in the early 20's and don't seem to have the patience to follow with any consistency ... mind you, they both do stretches of some kind to help with their other activities, and really appreciate it when they decide to join me on the mat with Adriene.     I'm glad I stumbled upon and watched this older video. I hurt my wrist this past weekend while climbing and couldn't finish the Yoga Camp on time. I was seriously bummed about it. So, instead of doing Day 30, I did some leg stretches and continued running until I thought my wrist was strong enough. It's a relief to hear that yoga isn't about doing every single move (some of the vinyasas are pretty tough on the wrists) and crushing every pose. Keep spreading love and self-care.

    I really love your honesty and humor! So wonderful and inspiring. Also what you said about being good to yourself when you want to do something else instead of yoga and viewing some of those actions as yoga really resonated with me. I had planned on doing the 30 day yoga challenge in January but was unable to because of a foot surgery. Its been difficult to finish all the videos since I've healed but I try to view getting one of them done as a big achievement even if it isn't consecutively. Thanks for all your hard work!

    Loving the bangs!
    On a deeper note, I suck at intentions. When I think about intentions or "goals" that are a few steps away from my every day life, they get blocked pretty quickly. I always end up thinking: "Well, I can't do that anyway". It's something I need to break, but have no immediate need to break. Does that make sense?
    I have to admit that when you tell us to set an intention for the practice, I'm just like: "Yeah, moving on. I can't think of anything"
    I've started doing these Bootcamp type videos three times a week, when I started doing 30 Days at the beginning of May. I've never been a cardio person, but I was surprised to find out I actually enjoy going all out for about 30 minutes and sweating my ass off.
