I’m 62 happily married woman with no kids. No regrets. I will be alone at some point and I’m so fine with that. There are great sides and bad sides to every decision in life. Just make your decisions with the willingness to accept the unfolding scenario that will follow. No drama. Do not fertilize regrets with drama. Be happy you chose to the best of your knowledge even though you might not like certain consequences of your choices. You will be comforted by humbly accepting that, while doing your best through life, some choices might not have been the best. We do not control everything related to us. Some great parents were called to even higher challenges when they welcomed in their new family a child that required extensive care and attention. So do not live with regrets. Choose with your eyes wide open, and never regret.

    1) people really don't care that much about what you say and do, unless it really has a huge negative impact on them
    2) small steps that seem too small and "useless" to have an impact are actually the most helpful for making long-term, sustainable progress and for maintaining what you have

I just turned 50, married for 26 years this year with no kids, couldn't be happier. I got to do all the things I wanted to do, years of university, travel, live in different countries, take business risks, all the things we couldn't do if we had kids. My husband and I do not feel lonely. I have friends who's kids are resentful despite all the sacrifices made for them because in this child-worship, social media world, nothing you do for kids is ever enough. My advice to people who are concerned about time running out, you can always adopt. Don't let people scare you into having children if you don't feel ready. They are not going to help you take care of them.

I’m 34, The lesson I learned is having a good work life balance, take breaks when needed, but also not losing focus on your goals no matter where you’re at. I wish I had a better work life balance in my 20’s, I didn’t which unfortunately lead to me getting burned out and having drug/alcohol problems in my late 20’s and during the pandemic years up until recently. Make sure you take of yourself as well as your vision for your life.

I have friends who chose not to have kids and I think that's ok. Happiness is subjective anyway. As for me, I have 3 kids and they transformed my life. I used to be immature and I'm just working for the sake of having money and buying things I want. After giving birth to my eldest, that changed. I suddenly saw the importance of earning more money and climbing the corporate ladder. Not bec of my ambition but bec I want to be someone my kids will be proud of when they grow up. It's not easy to raise kids. But everytime I see mine, growing little by little, learning the world one step at a time, hugs and kisses everyday, I find the meaning of life. It's bittersweet.

Its so sad to hear that you lost more than 2 lakhs in gambling, instead of gambling you could have started your own business, which is a grave mistake. but its ok it's still not too late, learn from that and one more thing you don't need education to earn money its just a tool to help you, not all successful people are educated. try to gain some experience in how businesses work, after you are confident try to start one by your own or take the help of others, like a partnership with your friend or others like you, but be careful about who yo trust!

I've learned too late in life that there is so much money to be made out here in this world. I was brainwashed by the Air Force for 13 years when I was active duty and was made to believe that there was nothing better out there. Once I got out I came to find that there was so much more better out there in the world than what the Air Force was able to offer. I am now playing catch up after wasting 13 years in a career field that had no civilian sector equivalent and trying to find my way into a better life where I have financial freedom, and finding out that there are so many money making opportunities that you can do right from home.

this is my part: if you are not willing to learn from your experiences, no experience in the world will ever help you succeed. on the contrary, you will loose everything. (this is me refusing to deal properly with narcissists, and choosing to naively give them the benefit of the doubt... until they stab me in the back several times).
part 2: don't tell or ask others about your dreams and goals, don't ask permission, don't ask anything. just do it. just go for it and do it. nobody will help you, no one will be happy for you or root for you. you have to do it alone. this one is very difficult to understand for supportive persons (like me). nobody is like you. nobody is supportive like you are. don't think they'll do for you what you do for them.
and yes, if you focus on your goal, sooner or later, you'll be there. fighting!

I understand this very well. For me being supportive was a way to cope with my own procrastination, and to attempt to get better treatment from people who didn't even know how to treat themselves. I'm getting there learning how to be everything I need

My name is Nathan Kon Katesmith. I want to be the founder of car company,a company which is known for making supercars. I'm 12,I recently quitted school. I live with my grandma (my father's aunt). My aunts (my father's aunt's daughters) want me to go to school. They can support me because they're wealthy but I don't think school is necessary in life. My grandma hates me for thinking school is unnecessary in life. I wanna prove my grandma she's wrong before she passed away. She's 68. I wanna do whatever I can to prove her wrong.

    2. Traveling and living in other places that you are born (if possible) is a very good way at increasing your understanding of the world around you and understanding where you want to end up inside of it long term.

    1. Learn about finance and actually put it to use.. starting young. But consistently
    2. Understand time. Read Seneca. Really think about this and understand how fast it goes. And how much of it do you squander?
    3. Good habits. Another consistent daily action. Those good habits will carry your body a loooong way.
    4. Choice in partner. Pay attention to the pink flags, listen to your gut and village. Cut bait, dont waste years or decades. “Dump him while your sexy” [Samantha- Sex In The City]
    5. Do take care of your skin and teeth!
    All The Best To You!
