Very nice movie, makes you feel for the characters and its a joy to watch how trucking was back in 1949.

Salute! I rode with an older couple in their huge truck from TX to Canada, and I've never seen so many stupid people driving cars and jumping in front of us. Thank God for the Jake Brake!

This great movie compares with Hell Drivers and other realistic truck films . Rigs are more comfortable and powerfull but the responsibility is the same for getting the goods to " market". I am a Scammell man. Thanks for this treat. Dave

Rarely do I watch a film anymore where the first four characters on film are impossibly loveable. I got hooked from Nickies homecoming. Loved this one. Soon in Conte's Nickie reminded me of two guys I know.

Great movie! More than 50 mph is doubtful in that military Studebaker. With budd wheels he only needed to drive the inside wheel up on a block of wood no jack needed but then the story line wouldn't work 🙂

26 minutes in and this reminds me of driving a truck.
    Boring, tiring, and a hassle.
    I can't watch any more.
But it's reasonably realistic, except for his Army truck doing 80 mph.

I know how you feel it is great to have President Trump back🎉.
After 8 years of that sexual pervert Clinton, 8 years of absolute zero from the dregs of society Obama, 4 years from possibly one of the worst criminals in the USA never mind the awfullest president in history.
And they expected the people to sink even lower and make a drunken, lieing, laughing maniac of a woman the next president.
So I can appreciate why you are so glad and happy for the Rightful President.
The Honourable President Donald Trump to lead the country back from the darkness of Biden and Harris hell,
Into the sunshine and glorious light, God Bless America.
And a Happy Christian Christmas to one and all. 🎄🇺🇸🎄🎅

I have my feasible theories about the reformed society, instead of somebody becoming petty to big thief, leave percentages commissions kick backs out , that has become so much of norm worldwide as fee for doing ‘ work’ speedy and with fee attached, I am talking about street desperation of thievery, you give them before it starts and becomes a ‘ habit’ and those steps taken at right time of support goes long way of stemming what begins as desperation to survive, then a habit too hard to shake off, that’s all there it is to it, also if you have more than enough and catch somebody dipping in find out which category it is , desperation or greed , desperation should be let go with warning and what that need wants, because after all that was the motivation to take, greed on other hand should be punished so even with enough it’s a nasty bad habit which needs to be broken that is fair justice always remember the desperation of existence in various layers are being given by your so called grounded systems going bad to worse by your leaderships without understanding what human life is all about flaws mistakes all part of it , and till those layers are not sorted out this mess chaos is never going to end in fact much worse with fuels ending a reality in near future
