I love your tag line. I guess that is what we would call it. “You don’t have to have everything figured out. You just have to take the next step.” Your heart to help others really shows through. Thank you for such inspiring content. ❤
Such precious tips! I have been watching your video for probably the 3rd or more times. Thank you so much! Wishing you and your lovely family best wishes to continued success in your endeavours.
Thanks Cathy!!! I’m just back from my first fair and it went well because of all the things I learned from your videos. You and Nam are such an amazing inspiration, so generous to share all your experience. I really didn’t have things figured out but I just had to take the next step! ❤ xxx
Thank you so much for this very informative video. I am preparing for my first craft fair. I have been drawing for a long time but never felt I had what it took to sell my art. My friends have been encouraging me to get a website and start getting my work out. This craft fair came by and I decided to take the plunge and go for it. Also I saw your video on kinds of paper used for printing art work and greeting cards and found the paper your recommended and I am thrilled. Can’t thank you enough for your videos with this super advice. ❤❤
love to hear that you’re finally taking the plunge! Such an exciting and nerve wracking, but mostly exciting times. Good luck with your first fair and hope you meet some cool people.
That’s a good point-testing price point and demand for product. I’m signed up for two small shows end of the year and considering Etsy later if it goes well. Thanks for your thoughts!
Hi from Australia! I sell at regular markets on the weekends and have some really big events coming up, so I love the tip of handing out a free shipping code to help with sales of items you may have run out of. Thank you - I will try this one this weekend! 👏🏼
Hope it helps! I like writing it down in front of them so it feels like they’re getting a personal treat and I’m not just handing it out to everyone :).
That’s so great to hear!! We felt like the last few videos about fairs weren’t giving a complete picture so wanted to round it out with this one. Good luck with the rest of your holiday events!
@@EasySundayClub the video about wholesale really gave me a good framework for pricing. The one about shipping and packaging gave me ideas to apply to the cards I sell.
Cathy and Nam, Thank you so much for putting so much effort into all these videos! Though I haven't watched all of them yet, I learned some valuable lessons already at the perfect time in my business journey. One question: do you have a video yet on staging and photographing items to post online?
Hello! Just found your channel and I'm loving all the videos! I'm debating starting selling my art but am super intimidated by calculating and tracking sales tax for different states, cities, and districts. How do you guys handle sales tax when selling online or in person?
If you sell on an online marketplace like Etsy they will report the sales tax on your behalf, so it’s easier to start there. To sell on your own website like Shopify and in person you’ll need to remit sales tax on a schedule depending on how you make. So perhaps start with a marketplace first if you’re intimidated by the latter option.
2 questions… Are you going to make an “adult” blanket such as your mushrooms? Also-is your blanket made of cotton gauze or is it poly? I found you guys a week ago and have watched 3/4 of your videos already…keep up the outstanding work! God bless you in your biz.

Thanks for this! Do you charge customers sales tax through Venmo?
Same question!

Yes I have one specifically for flat paper goods like greeting cards and art prints: ua-cam.com/video/ryfGQGBOWiM/v-deo.html.

Thanks for watching so many! As of now I don’t plan to release any new blanket designs or sizes :). It’s cotton muslin.
