Best pop-up preparation video I have seen yet! 🌷 Super refreshing and inspiring to have someone give visuals as well as an aesthetic or vibe that actually stands out over a basic ‘simplicity’ type look. Appreciate all the insight you’ve shared - quite helpful 💝🪻✨
A raffle for a free gift can also encourage a mailing list to reach out to customers as new products come out, or to let them know where you’ll be setup next.
The only problem is in tight space, even if you give them a clipboard it holds up space and slows things down. I carry the mailing labels that various organizations send in the mail for such occasions and then just have to write in my email.
Wonderful ideas. Thanks for sharing. You are so right on the bags. My friend uses the craft bag - I cut out a stencil with her logo. We use spray paint for the stencil and it looks very artsy which is her brand style. We also have a mirror that we place on the side of our space that says "Oh, Snap!" with our hashtag. If they buy something and post a photo to their social media showing themselves purchasing, wearing/using the item and include our hashtag, prior to checking out and showing the post at check out we give a discount at checkout. Some will even do a live feed. That has been very popular with our under 40 customers.
If you have the space in your vehicle, if you get like a 2" PVC pipe, you can roll your banner and your table clothes so they are more crisp. Thanks for the tips!
I have a couple tips for you...tablecloths, I purchased some wide knit fabric at the fabric store, long enough to go across the length of my basic tables (I use 5 adjustable folding tables) At the show I will use packing tape and safety pins to hold the fabric in place. Yes I could sew them up and make them fitted, but I never remember to do it! I vend at mostly indoor shows, wind really isn't an issue, but when I do vend outdoors I will use clamps to hold the bottom of the fabric to the table legs, not pretty but it works. I love this fabric, it's washable, and never wrinkles! Bags, I make jewelry so I use small colored gift bags, but what I also do is print my logo, website and contact information on transparent labels, then take a day to apply them to all my bags.
I just finished my online shop and I am starting to think about craft fairs. This information was right on time! I will check out your other videos and subscribe.
I use paper gift bags with my brand sticker on it as well. My sticker really pops because of the color and I've received complements on my packing at shows. Works for me!😊
Loving your advice/ideas, being informative on setting up your table/booth at a show, to bring people in is key. I've only done one show, and am currently going to do a show coming up in November. Trying to do better than I was before. We learn as we go, in what works for a person and their preferences and styles
Hello, you have so many great points on how to set up and get your business to pick up. Thank you so much for the share. I will try all of these a little at a time. You take care...
Literally just figured out how to use my sewing machine yesterday, but I love using it so I’ve been looking into markets once I get better. This video is very nice and helpful as someone who’s never even been to a market as a consumer ❤️
Omg! I been watching you for years! I HONESTLY LISTENNNN on what you recommend all the time because it has helped my small business. I am currently doing two pop up events this going to help so much thank you so much for the new ideas!!!!
I love the designated check out check out counter idea. I’ve been doing this for years and it hasn’t dawned on me to do that. Also I have a cNc and came up with some similar display ideas for my needs, so excited to cut those out for the next show! I want a more organic look for the ren faire. Ty good vid!
I’m doing my first vendor event and this was one of the only videos that helped me out! You added so much value! My first one is as a free service provider but I’m practicing for when I release my products 😁🥳
Thank you for all these ideas! Question about your totes… how are they finished? Did you do French seams? Or are they serged or lined? They are super cute!
Not me clicking so fast to hear more of Monicas awesome ideas as I continue to glow up my booth. 🤣 I have been thinking about adding the spin a wheel. I have noticed the clearer you are in the words the better as I had this challenge even with just purchase discounts on my pricing aka "2 for". I do love the mirror, though it doesn't fit maybe per se in my booth but I think I took away having something "instagramable" to draw people in.
Definitely going to check out product links. Any ideas on how to hang beaded garlands? How big is your vehicle to fit all of the different stands? We can fit a 6' table, foldable bench and then a few bins of stuff to sell and maybe a small cooler. We downsized for one market to bring just the best, but others we may have more room to display things. Items are like $1-5+ being sold, so it takes a lot of sales even to break even from the market fee.
these are great tips! I was thinking of signing up to a holiday market even though I’m not 100% confirdent thaf I’m ready yet. But I certainly want to try. any suggestions on secure POS terminal? TIA!
First video of yours I'm seeing and less than a minute in, I already love u. Blurring out the kids faces! So many creators don't and it drives me nuts. Thank you for being so respectful.
I just started doing markets and these tips are very helpful. I really hope to upgrade to a lot of these things on the list as I grow. Thank you for sharing these tips 😊
We did a spinny wheel for my kid's business since the first market, but it has a lot of slots, so we only put a few freebies. He gave a lot of things for free, but they were so happy. Definitely going to make some changes. Should we put something on each one or leave some blank?
Thank you for your inspirational and helpful video. You are kind to share these helpful tips, really appreciated. May God bless you with even more success in your business ventures 🙏🏼 ❤😊
Great video. We do shows to sell pet reptiles and supplies. I'll be checking out the links you provided. 2 ?- 1) did you find the bags? What vendor? 2) What POS are you using if I may ask?
me too! people say I should wrap my small things in disposable plastic to elevate it but my whole thing is eco friendly crafting. maybe wrapped available upons request or a discount for people who decline or return packaging. maybe reusable packaging?
What I often ask is if why these people are making so much money at craft fairs why they have to do these things these are very time-consuming and I just think that if you're making so much money what you're doing that you can give advice then you shouldn't need to do anything else
So when you make a purchase at a store you've never bought a sale item buy one get one free. I am sure you have. It's really no different. Be encouraging not annoying!
@@Teannscornerhandmade Truth hurts. An offer is obviously different to a spinning wheel that is found in Casinos. I hope you reconsider the inclusion of this device. You crochet lovely items thus no need for a gimmick.

Just got accepted for my first fair and you are a GOD SEND. Thank you Monica!!!!
SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!
@@monicarazak Great tips - very unique. Perplexity AI featured your video first when I asked it for "tips for booths for pop up vendor events".
Oh, and I shared it into a Small Business Support Facebook group with 20.7k members as a suggestion answering someone asking for ideas.
A raffle for a free gift can also encourage a mailing list to reach out to customers as new products come out, or to let them know where you’ll be setup next.
YES definitely
The only problem is in tight space, even if you give them a clipboard it holds up space and slows things down. I carry the mailing labels that various organizations send in the mail for such occasions and then just have to write in my email.
One thing I've done to assist in this not taking so much time is providing a small card box and require them to leave a business card to enter.

I am definitely adding that decal to my mirror! Just placed my order.
It's crazy that people challenged you on the prize from the spinner when you are the one that literally created it 😂
Thanks for making such an informative, specific video on this topic! This was super helpful in helping me jazz up my booth 😊
That mirror and decal is genius ❤
Grabs everyone's attention every time:)

Hi Monica i use the paper bags as well but i do stickers or a customize stamp on it
I use paper gift bags with my brand sticker on it as well. My sticker really pops because of the color and I've received complements on my packing at shows. Works for me!😊
I'll need to try this!!

Hi what a great video ty!! Where did you get your table banners, and what pos are you using. I have my 1st craft show in Aug
Table banner is from Vistaprint! I use Shopify POS
Thank you for sharing! I love it ❤
which of these 10 unique pop-up shop vendor market ideas are you going to try out??
Definitely the wheel.
The wheel and the separate check out station 🙌🏼 you’re a genius thank you!
the special bags. I have access to a lot of fabric (music festival) and can quickly whip up a basic bag. using a stencil to paint the brand.
Definitely the wheel and the separate check out area.
The wheel and mirror
I needed you 🙏🏼 thank god for making you and you for this video😊
wow, thank you so much for these!!
How long does it take you to set up? Thanks for the tips. Love the spin the wheel!
my large tent set-up will normally take me a little over an hour to set-up - sometimes more if I take my time.
Great video. We do shows to sell pet reptiles and supplies. I'll be checking out the links you provided. 2 ?- 1) did you find the bags? What vendor? 2) What POS are you using if I may ask?
I use Shopify POS!
Where did you buy that spinning wheel? And do you charge people for a spin?
Spinning is free! I got it from Etsy but the seller doesn’t sell it anymore:(
TYSM! 🤗
Hello Monica how much is your tote bags display?
This was an AWESOME video! Thanks!
thank you for watching!!
Did you buy a separate iPad to use for checkout only?
I use my iPad as a normal tablet in my personal life in addition to using it for check out during markets
Your hair is so beautiful!
haha thank you!!
Great tips. Thanks for sharing.
Vinyl lettering on your bags 🤔 made on the Cricut
waw this video is so useful, im defo using the spinner thing, so smart
Lovely ideas ❤❤
What camera do you use to film your booth? Pretty booth BTW ❤
Which size width table banner do you have?
Hi! Where can I find this garment rack , the one you display bags?
It's from Vertical Ledge, they actually don't sell this version anymore but here's their updated version: collabs.shop/1nvfv9
Where’d you get the kiosk from
Very helpful video
I noticed people in you event are paying by tapping on your tablet. Can you please tell us where you got your TAP READER from? Was it square?
I use the tap/chip reader from Shopify!
Great video!
How long does it take for you to set up at your Pop-ups?
Depends on the set-up but anywhere from 30 mins to 1.5 hours!
How much do you charge for spinning? Xx
the Wish movie's city rose symbol is waayyyy too similar to the City of Pasadena's branding
I lived in JC for 4 years… where do you have your booth?
depends on the market that I'm part of! sometimes it's by the grove street PATH station, other times it's in front of brick-and-mortar stores!
Where do you buy your merchandise to sell
I hanmade all of it!! I get my raw materials at different places, most are linked in the description:)
Great Ideas
Great video.
Thank you Monica
Great video. Just a suggestion, your table cloths need to be ironed. Thank you for your sharing your experiences.
My issue with cute packaging is it's so hard to stay sustainable!
so true - that's why I haven't upgraded from my kraft paper bags yet! still trying to figure out the best solution
me too! people say I should wrap my small things in disposable plastic to elevate it but my whole thing is eco friendly crafting. maybe wrapped available upons request or a discount for people who decline or return packaging. maybe reusable packaging?
thank yoy
underrated vid
hi monica need to talk about my start up can you help me out ..love from India
The trouble with the craft shows around here is NOBODY SHOWS UP. There are literally more vendors than shoppers. The shows are dead AF.
I had a question but it doesn't look like you go through your comments so I guess it doesn't matter
looking forward to hearing your question!:)
You’re weird
💚.
Your husband just plays video games
What I often ask is if why these people are making so much money at craft fairs why they have to do these things these are very time-consuming and I just think that if you're making so much money what you're doing that you can give advice then you shouldn't need to do anything else
Majority of the suggestions are legit however, I cannot agree with the Spin Wheel which encourages gambling.
I just got accepted to my first festival for my new small business, your videos are amazing. THANK YOU 🥹
