Hey friends! Hope you enjoyed the video! :) 3 more videos coming in this Craft Show 101 mini series so stay tuned!!! 😍
So true in those tips! Bringing your own food and water is a game changer for sure. I was across from a food truck last summer at a busy event and couldn't even get to it. My friend and I even tag teamed with our booths next to each other. She barely got us drinks lol.
Im thankful I brought my own food and water.
Totally!!! So glad you brought your own!❤️ sounds like a busy event, so fun!
@@camryns_cute_creations it was! My best event from last year. It was their first event but they advertised so good the turn out was crazy. I wish I could have down the 2/3 days but hopefully this year I can.
@@camryns_cute_creations it was one of those events that made it worth everything and never had a show like that before. I was beat and hit due to summer sun but it felt so rewarded.
My first event is THIS Saturday! I'm very nervous but thankfully its at the church I went to as a child so I'm already very familiar with the location and the events. Love your videos!
This is so exciting!!! You’ll have to let me know how it goes! 😍❤️
I live by your checklist!
Also…here’s a tip: I recycle the large handle bags I get from yarn hauls at craft stores. I just cover them in my own branding and they look so cute! ❤ Customers love them.
What a great idea!!!🤩
Love going back and watching these videos to see what you’ve kept up on, and what we can look forward to seeing later 💕
Yes… a video on business cards would be great!
You got it!:)
You should do a studio tour! I would love to see what your workspace looks like 😊
Yessss I totally can!:)
Another winner in your series, Camryn! Love the sweatshirt! Looks so comfy. Perfect to wear at your market, for sure. Yes, please tell us about your bagging/packaging ideas! Looking forward to the next video. 💕
Yay! Thank you! So glad you loved it :)
I literally JUST now applied for my first event..it's next Saturday..AHHH!! Watching your videos and IG has definitely convined me to give it a try. I was a furniture vendor in an antique mall for several years, but this will be my first event with my crocheted items. Excited and nervous as heck!!
You can do it!:) you’ll have to keep me updated how it goes!!!:)
Whoohoo! Way to go and congrats on your first market! 👏
Yes on the business card tutorial!!!😍 that would be so helpful
Sounds good! I would love to share!🥰❤️
This is so so helpful! Would love all of the videos you suggested making😊
Yayyy!🥰❤️
Hi Camryn! Thank you for this helpful video! ♥️ hoping to do my first market this year
You're so welcome! :)
I love your sweatshirt!
Thank you!
Very informative video! Thanks for sharing. You mentioned doing a video on making business cards. That would be great! Yes please.
Will do!!❤️ glad you loved the video, thanks for watching :)
You need to do another inventory challenge
Thank you for another helpful video! My friend and I just purchased the tablecloths you recommended. I’m glad you mentioned your shirts. I have wondered where you are finding the yarn shirts. I will need to check them out!
You are so welcome!:)
What stresses me out is the possibility of someone slip pocketing smaller items like Keychains or scrunchies or smaller stuffies) from my booth without paying while I'm distracted or something. Do you set up your booth in a way to help prevent this (smaller items more near you)?
Yes I have in the past! I can definitely share some tips for this:)
This was super helpful. If you make a video on business ld totally watch it cause I didn't even know I needed that 😆
Will do!!:)
Thank you so much for this helpful video! I really wanna sign up for a craft show here so I’m preparing in my head but I’m still thinking about it too much I guess. Will I be able to socialize with everyone? How will I react if too many people try to negotiate on the price? (people from my country do that often). And even Are my crochet works good enough to sell? I think I should just start and see how it goes 😅😊
i want to see how to make your own biz cards
You’ve got it!:)
My first craft show is next weekend and I’m freaking out that I don’t have enough stuff or that I have too much variety
Don’t stress out too much! You’ll learn so much after doing your first show :)
Bag video!
You’ve got it!:)
How big is your banner? Did you get it from Vistaprint? If so, what type and size did you get? I have my first craft show next month and I’ll trying to get all my signage ASAP and I’ve been loving vistaprint (thank you for the recommendation!)
I got this at Staples years ago (before I discovered vistaprint!) I believe it’s about 3x5 ft! I’ve heard great things about vista print banners though :)
I have been looking into canopy would an 8x8 be big enough or should it be 10x10 just starting out I have back problems and need something easy to set up also would just a reg dollar tree table cloth work or would u recommend something like you have in the comments
10x10 is standard for doing shows! As far as table cloths, I love my spandex over the leg ones! I chat more about why in my display video:) they are awesome!
@@camryns_cute_creations ok ty
Are tye sandbag weights good to use or the pvc pipe everyone is using to me both are kinda ugly cause you can see them but for now I need cheap
Those are both great options!!!
@@camryns_cute_creations ty
Any recommendations for change amount? So new to this
$100-$150 in mostly ones and fives is what I bring!:)
@camrynscutecreations how do you handle sales tax for cash sales? It's easy to charge sales tax with square for card sales but if you are selling an item and they are paying cash do you charge them tax and have to provide change in coins or do you take the tax out of your profit so you can make change easier in bills?
These videos are totally helpful. I do have a question, do you charge tax while at the show?
Yes! Tax is incorporated into all of my pricing!
@@camryns_cute_creations hmm ok. Do you have a video that shows how to put this into play? As in like how to do it or what it will look like.
I was just about thinking about toilet breaks?
Sorry...you talk way too fast & loud, you repeat yourself & your hands & arms are all over the screen. The tips are fine. Watch the full length of your videos & you will see. I am not trying to give criticism..I am trying to make you aware. Good luck.
Hi! So sorry you feel this way! Thanks for the criticism! I watch my videos a lot of times while editing and try to improve each video, so will keep this mind!
Please forgive me as I am not trying to hurt your feelings..Please consider it only constructive criticism..I have been looking at quite bit videos lately for information & if its not a good learning experience I would move on to the next..I wish that was a private message only to you.
