      Cabbage / Water shortage will only exist until the disturbances in the supply get so dangerous and distracting that they stop modern life from working and will cost too many people too much money due to the disruptions in society. Then midern desalitantion plants will be build and will guarantee a never ending supply of fresh drinking water.....its just that the first places to run out of water are those where people typically have no say in how they are governed or where they think they have a say and its imaginary, i.e. most of the third world where elected officials more often then not bleed a country dry of its wealth for personal gain.....sad but in my eyes never the less true.....

      Back then we didn't know about germ theory or even had proper sanitation. It would have seemed like a force of nature, almost like an act of god as an invisible enemy causes everyone around you to drops dead. Piles of corpses on every street, rotting smell of bodies in the air, all while having no idea what's causing it and being completely helpless to do anything about it.

    The time thing hasn't totally been solved, we still have time zones.

    • @blankbackgroundimage457
      @blankbackgroundimage457 5 років тому +6

      Yes but the time units themselves are the same everywhere. There has to be time zones, because it is not daytime or nighttime everywhere at the same time. It would be more confusing if there wasn't time zones.

      @@blankbackgroundimage457 well, we don't really NEED separate zones of time for different places in the world. We easily could just have one time and each country/city/etc. could just figure out when to do things.
      Example: If we all use Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), I, living in the eastern US, could easily just open my business at 5am GMT instead of 10am EST. Or eat dinner at 1pm GMT instead of 6pm EST. Etc. Etc.

      @@blankbackgroundimage457 well, we don't actually NEED extra time zones. We could simply have one universal time and just figure out when to do things when we have the correct amount of daylight.

      Yeah but that is even more shit.
      If you for example travel to another country you won't have any feeling what time "18:00" is. Right now at 18:00 the sun is staying at the same height in every country (approximately)
      Also it'd ruin the concept if "the clock". The clock is made to keep track where the sun currently is/how dark/light it us outside. Having to remember it every time you travel... I don't think that this is a great idea.

    The thing about glasses that made it so revolutionary, I think, is that it made it fashion and a person's identity. You see someone with a wheelchair and the first thing you think is "This person's legs are disabled" but you don't think "This person's eyes are disabled" when you see people with glasses. I think that's big and I want everything to be like that, more of "That's a cool wheelchair" than "We need to protect and speak for him because he is disabled and on a wheelchair "

    • @olenraks

      how do you fkin compare a wheelchair and glasses lmfao, with glasses you are jsuta regular human, with a wheelchair well, you can get around, but you still need help in places. if the wheelchair would be robotic legs, then you would have a comparison to make.
