Not necessarily, you exist in what you perceive to be the present, which to your past self would be the past since you came from the future. Your past self who is in the perceived future from your present point of view would be erased, but since you exist in a place where you don’t exist yet, you theoretically don’t exist at all, so nothing would happen to your current self since you don’t exist. Like what actually happened to the dinosaurs, who built the pyramids, how early did the world get civilised, were there civilisations before the Mesopotamians, is/was Atlantis a real place, how advanced were the ancient civilizations, who created the Antikythera machine, and the list goes on. But that's all we should ever do when traveling back in time. Also, I would recommend creating some sort of cloaking/invisibility device so you don't have to deal with people seeing you

Let's say that you stay away from civilization to make the least possible changes, IF you have the skill to survive without human companionship then you'll most like still make a difference, for example you eat the only non poisonous fruit in miles, later on a hungry traveler happens to be in the area but since he couldn't find anything edible he just ate something poisonous in desperation and died meaning he didn't get to go home, make a family which would mean so many people wouldn't be born and many things wouldn't be done.
