So now I see why John Cena and the Rock showed up to WWE cause of this writers strike I’m happy to see my hero john Cena back in wrestling but man if it wasn’t for the strike we would have never got Cena back. I hope the strike stays on for a while cause I want to see my hero john Cena win his 17th championship 😂
I liked Fallon when he started. But before this was a thing... I started to get annoyed with the always over the top reaction of "that is so AWESOME!!!!" and "wahhahahahahahahHAHAHAHHHH" oh my goooodddd" After a bit it gets old.
Show me one modern late night host that's actually funny and not a political activist cIown. Conan O'Brien doesn't count since his show is now just a radio show.
Jimmy is the talk show host equivalent of a door-to-door encyclopedia salesman. He reeks of fake friendliness, you don't think about him when he isn’t around, and you want him to go away when he is.
They messed up big time losing Conan O’Brien as the host and hiring Fallon instead. Conan is so effortlessly funny, a true late night legend. He’s so quick witted and has one of the sharpest tongues in comedy with his quick quips and chronic improvisation.
Jimmy Fallon seems to know this too considering that he's so obviously drunk or on other drugs when doing his show. I'm guessing his contract has a nice golden parachute in it and that's why NBC doesn't bother to find a replacement for him. Cheaper to keep him on the show than to pay that contract cancelation payout.
i've been to the tonight show and had the privilege of meeting him during the show's very small intermission. I can't lie the dude did not seem to fake his kindness. it genuinely seemed like he cared about where we were from and if we were liking the show. who knows in the end of the day he is an actor so faking kindness could be something he mastered but damn i didn't have a bad vibe again he seemed chill
I'll add he's the only current late night host I can watch semi-regularly, though I'll admit I watch next to zero TV and very little American TV anymore. I did like Craig Ferguson a lot, also Conan.
Honestly it seems like someone gives him a shock whenever he’s supposed to laugh lol I know it’s not true but the way he laughs so aggressively made me think of that
I like that you spoke about the situation with respect and little judgment toward anyone, very professional. ❤ Jimmy sounds like hes struggling with a lot of mental health struggles and i really hope he gets help, i dont think hes a bad guy at heart, just troubled. Best of luck to him in healing.
Exactly i dont see anything wrong w the guy, he maybe fake laughs here and there or maybe too much so what? Everyone wants to be liked by other people or are awkward in situations, that doesnt make you a bad person.
I agree with this take. I just don't think he handles stress as well as someone like Conan. To be clear - I am not a fan of Jimmy. I liked him before The Tonight Show, but not anymore. The games he plays with guests are fun, but he's not a good interviewer. Can't exactly fault him if that's who he is. It's not as if he gave the job to himself. The fault is on whoever at NBC put him in that position and allows him to stay there. I feel like he was chosen because he's safe and will do what he's told.
I think the incident with Joaquin is the worst because while Joaquin can be strange in his own way, he was trying to be nice to Jimmy and say "it's ok you dint have to describe it" and Jimmy acts like a child. Joaquin even repeatedly says it's ok and is clearly very sensitive to how he feels.
For everyone who protects Jimmy, you should really watch Craig Ferguson or Conan O'Brien and see how an authentic interview and conversation should look like.
Conan was the last of the classic hosts. Craig was something else entirely. But falon does fine for what his show is. It's the modern tonight show and he does a perfectly fine job.
Jimmy isn't laughing he's crying. Late night talk shows died when Dave and Conan retired. So now he's like a crazy guy left behind on an abandoned island
Never liked Dave or Conan. Always preferred Jay and Ferguson. Used to like Fallon, but that died during the 2016 election. That's the last time I remember watching.
What I got out of this video: 1. He's (probably) neurodivergent 2. Histrionic (personality disorder) 3. People-pleaser 4. His anxiety and depression are getting more and more severe as time goes on
As someone who has depression and anxiety with childhood trauma it comes off very much as a trauma response cause ive literally done the same thing in person.
I was looking for anyone else saying number 1🙈 as someone with AuDHD, a lot of the things mentioned in the first half is so autistic🙃 it's honestly so weird that no one realises, just because he seems more functioning, but then everyone says he is weird and socipathic🤷🏽♀️😅
if you get addicted to online gambling you deserve to lose your money lmao thats utterly pathetic. Zero sympathy for a grown adult thinking theyll win big GAMBLING. lmao.
Jimmy Fallon is proof that, even if you suck at your job really badly, if you just keep showing up you'll reach the top eventually. I mean, he's about as funny as a five alarm fire at a maternity ward and he was given the position of host of one of the longest running comedy shows in U.S. history.
the first sentence of this video will forever puzzle me cuz I always considered Jimmy Fallon the least sincere of all the hosts with his fake laughs and never came off as accessible.
i've never heard anyone mention Fallon as seeming sincere...that def made me raise my eyebrow when i heard it. It's been a running gag that he's super fake for as long as I remember
No this is with the benefit of social media and hindsight. There was legit a time where he was considered sincere by most people. I remember this vividly. It was 2013. I visited these girls apartment and they had a cardboard cutout if Jimmy Fallon. They were obsessed with him. They showed me this video of him and Justin Timberlake doing an evolution of dance thing. That video went viral on Facebook so I had seen it. He also had these lip sink battles everyone loved. Before the show. I remember him going to perform at universal studios at the time and it being sort of big deal. I remember no one had a negative thing ti say about him even those who didn’t watch him. I remember the common sentiment being that he was this fish out of water, sincere, cute dorky yet weirdly attractive guy. I was there man. It seems like so long ago now. But I was there and it was how everyone saw him. Everything changed when that video also went viral on Facebook of his fake laugh. Now everyone acts like they saw it all along. I don’t doubt you might have. But I know most people didn’t.
@@joelman1989 personally never been a fan of him since his SNL days so I guess I always saw thru it but I definitely see why others got sucked in by his shtick.
@@joelman1989 I won't contradict you because I was in middle/high school in the time period you were talking about and no one ever spoke about him, but he's rubbed me the wrong way since I've actually paid attention to him
This is why I prefer Conan O'Brien over Jimmy. Conan seems like a genuine guy who I'd love to have a conversation with. Jimmy is the guy your friends leave you alone with when they need to go to the bathroom and he just tries too hard to be cool.
Its because Conan is an ass sometimes to people and employees but he does it on camera, so he lets that part of him out. When u try to hide that part of you it builds up and the people who aren't on camera take the brunt of it... hes also a drunk. No judgement. We all have our issues
I think jimmy Fallon laughs like that because he wants to make the guest comfortable and look good, and I don’t think he intentionally wants to interrupt the guests but at times he can accidentally, he’s just awkward lol I can relate to jimmy so much
It's because they present themselves as backers of the workers. They literally advertise as a worker resource over a union or any recourse. 70% of worker complaints that go to HR cost the worker their job
Last time I checked I'm not worth 70 million dollars, so no, not like us at all, or at the very least not like me, if you have 70 million in the bank then good for you Bruv.
the way i laughed out load. 😭 i can almost see him in a crazy wig, overly and yet still fake excited about bizarre entertainment made for the rich in the capital
Patrick Man you're just killing it! even in some videos when I don't exactly agree with certain things you say you're one of the very few content creators who still makes sense when you're explaining and your videos are always top notch
that's why I love Graham Norton. I've never seen such natural and funny conversations between relaxed celebs, led in by the tinyest amount of words used but if he cracks a joke - it's a good one.
Even when Graham doesn't know the topic of discussion, he doesn't pretend to know what's going on to save face, he immediately makes fun of himself. That's why I love Conan O'Brian for this as well, both feel like they are seeming harmless themselves for the celebrities to feel more comfortable around them.
Jimmy Fallon is like that kid in high school who tries to win favor with everyone knowing full well they absolutely despise him. Sad but also kinda wonderful.
Tracy Morgan confronted Jimmy about his constant laughing during other writers/performers sketches, but not his own. Tracy warned Fallon "Don't let me catch you doing that shit in one of my sketches!" Jimmy never did, which proves that he could control his laughter, unless he wanted to steal a scene and become the center of attention.
@@leob4403 yeah snl people seem to like working with jimmy fallon more than with tracy even though he breaks often. Sometimes, it's not about being the best actor or comedian, it's just who is the easiest to work it.
There's an undeniable LACK of sincerity. He may as well be followed around by a plastic surgeon, the man is entirely false from his toenails to his eyebrows.
Picturing Jimmy Fallon drunkenly beating the shit out of people like Mike Vallely destroying a bunch of skateboarders is by far the most shocking revelation to me.
That’s how they all go I’m realizing. I’m new to the channel and listen while cleaning and the abrupt ending I get distracted and end up mentally combining episodes until I realize I’m 2 min into the next one 😂 I do like it tho. It’s thought provoking and makes me want an update later.
Have you ever read about how the cast & crew create & prepare the show every week? It's a schedule that's beyond brutal, even for people still in their 20s. I could easily see not wanting to live that way after 3 years of it.
@@edschelchang6123 Exactly. Because what may seem to make people happy on the surface is actually just compensation for something that is unconciously going on in the background.
@@ermguitar2052 I had actually forgotten about him when I wrote this comment and remembered him later and yes I agree he was fantastically funny and Geoff was awesome.
I served Jimmy and his wife at a famous restaurant. They were incredibly sweet and kind to all of us. My wife also knew him from her restaurant where he frequented and lived next door while he was on SNL. He was always friendly to everyone there, would hug the staff when he visited, and would waive at them through the window when he walked by. But Jimmy was an alcoholic, (we all saw him drink A LOT). It would be no surprise if he was and perhaps still is a cocaine user. Many people in showbusiness have a lot of demons. And when a creative signs onto a multi million dollar per year job where your speech is tightly restricted, i imagine that person, at some point, begins to experience a great deal of cognitive dissonance and imposter syndrome. Combined with substance dependency/abuse, that sounds like a recipe for a slow, grinding, downward spiral. That's my take.
As a fellow adult child of an alcoholic/mascot scapegoat of my family I can see that Jimmy is literally living every night of his life in a trauma response. That is rough. I hope he works the steps or gets a good therapist.
Only it’s different because he’s the alcoholic. He drinks so much he can’t even pay attention to what his guest are saying so he just fake laughs at inappropriate times.
@@laikanbarthAKA, an out of control trauma response that requires therapy because it negatively affects others and himself Trauma isn’t pretty. It isn’t an excuse. It’s a root that needs to be excavated and composted. That would mean losing his career, hence his daily trauma cycle.
Huh. I've got so many questions about this that I don't know how to articulate bc I can't quite relate (even though I had a front row seat to my uncle's addiction growing up) or understand. So the trauma *response* is the constant need to try to please as many people as possible, and have a larger than life personality to distract from his own perceived shortcomings? What then would be the actual trauma/what was the traumatic event? I'm about a 3rd of the way into the video as I'm writing this, but I guess the idea of his parents letting him drink at a (wildly) inappropriate age doesn't quite connect to me... (??) So the catalyst was his early introduction to substances? And his need to please coupled with that is the reason he behaves the way he does...? Am I making any sense?
The trauma happend in his childhood related to his parents and the catalyst/compensation is the alcohol and the constant need for appreciation. I don't judge him for any of his actions, he didn't know better.
His forced fake laugh is barf-ful. He would break character on purpose on snl for attention. Multiple interviews from cast members has me believe it's true.
I mean this from a psychology point of view and not an ableist one. But this video makes me think that Jimmy Fallon may be undiagnosed autistic. A lot of his quirks just seem too similar to mine, its as if I was watching an alternate universe of how hard I fell off in showbusiness.
Conan O'Brien was the last great late night TV show host in my opinion, and his podcast he currently runs is excellent. I actually really like the segments of Fallon's show that focuses on the stuff he excels at - impressions, musical segments, and improv comedy. But it all kinda breaks down when it's time to actually talk to and interview people. Just conpare Conan having Bill Burr on as a guest VS Fallon. Night and day difference. Conan is not only able to keep conversations with relatively tame people interesting, but he can immediately match (and counter, if need be) the energy of wild cards like Bill without breaking a sweat. Also, Conan is known for treating his employees exceptionally well. During the whole debacle where he was essentially without a show after getting shafted from hosting The Tonight Show, he still paid his employees and didnt lay anyone off, all the way up until he was able to get a new show going. I don't think Fallon or Colbert would have done something like that.
Interestingly, people who have worked for Jay Leno also praise him. (And the controversies in regards with the situation with Conan is pure fan fantasy.)
Craig Ferguson is the greatest late night talkshow host, and I will die on this hill. I will never understand why his viewership didn’t eclipse everyone else because that show was absolutely amazing.
No, people don't have to be funny to be entertaining. The point is that Jimmy was constantly using a fake persona/fassade and when you look at other hosts like Kimmel, deGeneres or Corden you will realize that the people in the US aren't capable of seeing it.
I mean shit if I had enough money to have financial freedom to explore hobbies I truly love then I would be happy 25/8 these are just assholes who are ungrateful
I surely don't expect that. I think it's just a shock because the persona we are shown is literally all we see. Even when you go onto social media, we only see the image they want us to see even if that's not their true selves.
I honestly can't recall a single time Fallon made me laugh. The only things I remember him for from SNL was flubbing his lines and breaking to pull focus to himself. I truly hope the story of Tracy Morgan threatening him not to pull that stunt in any of their sketches is real. And I'll be damned before I watch any Fallon movies or his Tonight Show.
The Ryan Gosling interview itself is one of the hardest pieces of content to get through & you can see the nervous confusion in his face multiple times. At one point he quite literally stares at the ground while Jimmy passes away from laughter like, “what the fck is he doing?”. Spades frustration was also palpable, you could tell he was NOT feeling Jimmys fake persona, and I wish he went in on him, as a huge majority of people aren’t aware just how funny he really is due to being overshadowed by his fellow comedic actors like Sandler etc. Watch Spades clips from the Bad Friends Podcast w/ Bobby Lee & Andrew Santino to see him do what he should’ve done here. Bobby showed up hours late to their interview, so Spade used the opportunity to expertly ick apart Bobby in a way only a seasoned ‘show biz’ level comedian could do. My god I wish he’d have done that to Jimmy live on late night tv
I have a soft spot for Kimmel - he is charming in a very weird awkward way. Plus he is handsome so that doesn’t hurt - Jimmy looks like his parents forgot to pass along a decent human face.
He literally only ever laughs with celebrities. I used to love his show so much until I watched him playing a game, in one of his segments, with regular people. He looked so visibly annoyed and didn't crack a smile once! He was so over it, he hurried them through the segment and you could actually see the relief on his face when it was done. Never looked at him the same after that
Honestly people should have saw that from the beginning his home persona is absolutely fake never trust someone when they say that they are the nicest person ever That's all of the side and a lie that they hide behind to cover up who they really are behind
@@hollyg3372 For you to say "fantastic," I guess it means we have very different senses of humor or maybe politics. I thought Conan O'Brien was great. Dick Cavett is not that funny but thoughtful, intellectual, and witty, and I like watching his reruns. Letterman was great in the 80s before he got his primetime show. So are you very liberal and not turned off by the others? I watch them so little and hardly know any of them. I guess it's their personalities and more radical politics. I remember Jimmy doing great musical impressions of Jim Morrison, Neil Young, etc. And on SNL (a show that was never that funny to me), his Weekend Update was good, but I have no idea how much of the writing he did for that spot. So maybe that is why I like Jimmy a bit more, though I really dislike his show too. On SNL, I remember not liking Seth as much as Jimmy, and that was before I knew or assumed their politics. Jimmy's movies were really bad, I see that. Millions also find Kimmel and Colbert obnoxious. Colbert seems condescending, and Kimmel, I read, is demeaning to women. :)
I always wondered why for some reason all of a sudden everyone on these late night shows were laughing so hysterically beyond belief. It was way, way too much.
How this man has a career is baffling. On SNL all he ever did was break during skits with actually funny people. I guess I gotta give him his props for getting paid for all these years of literally nothing but existing
Never liked him much, but he's a skilled impressionist, particularly singers. His best talk-show bits are the "games" he invents to showcase this talent.
I've always fluctuated between him either breaking character on purpose...to direct the attention towards himself or him having an actual "disorder" and he just laughs at every fucking thing uncontrollably 😂
I thought that I just had a bad sense of humor. I couldn't find what was so funny all the time and figured well if they keep this guy other people must like him
It's hard to truly know what goes on in his head, or whether anything said about him is true. After this video I actually feel like I gained some respect for him, he went after what he wanted and he got it in many cases. He does well on the tonight show because he taps into the youth, he transitioned into the new world instead of living in the past as a relic of what tv used to be. I think being positive every single day, acting happy, smiling, laughing at things that aren't that funny... that kind of behaviour would take a toll on anyone. It doesn't surprise me that Ellen and Jimmy might be assholes off screen because of it. I don't think Jimmy Fallon is a bad dude, and I think he's learnt to laugh to make people feel comfortable. But who knows, I have no interest in watching the show either way, his behaviour is just fascinating.
If you actually look at his career history the dude is insanely diligent and dedicated. He worked his ass off to get where he is today. I don't see any of the "fakeness" that other people claim to see, he comes across as sincere, if a little awkward, to me. It's so obnoxious the way people slam him for such asinine reasons. Lorne Michaels was and is a huge supporter of Jimmy - that's enough of an endorsement for me personally. His private life is none of my business and has no bearing on his ability as an entertainer, and it's COMPLETELY infantile to obsess and pore over some celebrity's life looking for reasons to hate them - I bet the video creator has done plenty of awful things in his life that he wouldn't want to reflect on his present-day self. People need to stop caring about the personal lives of celebrities, it has absolutely NOTHING to do with you and it strongly indicates that you can't think of anything better to do, which is unbelievably pathetic. Try reading a book or actually educating yourself on something that MATTERS. This guy has poisoned his mind with consumerist pop culture like all these other self-absorbed UA-camrs who think they're some kind of "intellectual" performing "criticism" on the most mass-market mainstream products conceivable. He's a goddamn talk show host, he DOES NOT warrant such spurious "analysis", and he's clearly good enough at that job to retain it for such a long time - if he doesn't appeal, just watch something else, it's not like he's being shoved down your throat (and if he is, it's because you watch commercial television and that's entirely your fault).
If Conan had the freedom for the tonight show that he had on late night, jimmy would have never been seen on orbit to be a replacement until Conan's retirement in 2021
this was a really great video. i see a lot of issues with a lot of semi-long content being that its too much filler, but honestly this was a great video. straight and cut to the point. this video could have easily been an hour long but you managed to tightly cut it down to only 21 beautiful minutes of watch time. subscribed and excited for new content!
I went to his stand up shows in the early 2000’s. He was a jittery, laughing mess back then too. Jimmy has always laughed at everything He would often break character in SNL.
Keep in mind that in these types of shows, the host's role involves acting, so it's not surprising if many of them come across as rather melancholic in real life.
It’s wild how the Horacio Sanz story has been completely sanitizes. This dude was having a sexual relationship with a minor who he frequently brought around the cast. Fallon was one of the main suppressors of this story.
Because there's not really evidence of Fallon's even indirect involvement with the Sanz allegations. And believe me I'm not someone to defend Fallon, but this theory comes from a single anonymous source quoted in Vanity Fair.
Okay, all Anne had to say was "The most embarrassing moment was hosting the Oscar's with James Franco." Anyone who watched it knows EXACTLY what she is talking about and why it's funny.
@@miniaddict4534with that logic, no joke should be made and no laugh should be laughed because it will never be the case that every single person in American gets the joke
He is literally me 😂 I have extreme social anxiety so I feel like I have to overcompensate by being very complimentary and charismatic cuz idk what to do. I even do the forced laughter for no reason. It’s just fear of being rejected so you try to mask it by overcompensating. They call it the fawn response.
This video is 21 mins long. I’m sure this wasn’t the first video you watched. There you go, you watched shows for an hour…. Your point is dumb af is what I’m trying to say lol
Simply put, Jimmy is what happens when an individual with average charisma & social skills forces and acts as over the top as possible to portray himself as someone with lots of charisma and great social skills
These mini documentaries are kind of fascinating to me because growing up, you definitely have the idea that celebrities are stuck up or their actual personality is standoffish, you feel like they probably think they're above, and you're below. It's a bit crazy when it's like...confirmed that they *are* that way, because of course when you're thinking this way about them, you hope that you're wrong. But it just seems to be a increasingly clear matter that power and influence seems to corrupt. Like it's rare to see people keep their humility and kindness after making it. And I'm sure a lot of those that haven't been exposed or racked up with evidence might be genuine or they're just really careful about how they portray themselves at all times when outside of their homes.
literally, I'm so fkn glad someone else can see that. he genuinely seems to just be a joyful dude i cannot possibly fathom how people can hate on someone for laughing and giving compliments 💀 and all the behind the scenes shit is he said she said, no one fkn knows. this video sucks 😂
It's not about hating Jimmy, even though some people do, but that's theirs. It's about recognizing that he and many other hosts and, by the way, a lot of people in society, not just hosts, are putting on a facade, which is a shame because Jimmy is certainly a great person but at the same time too insecure to be authentic but instead, and I don't blame him for that, he constantly needs confirmation from others. It's not a crime, of course not, but it's about recognizing it.
At this point Jimmy Fallon is more of a UA-cam personality than a late night host - his audience is now mainly children. He has to pander to that. Wtf do you expect him to do?@@AliasSchmalias
@@c4ctusc4ctusc4ctus First of all I don't expect anything from him. "He has to pander to that." Does he? What happens if he doesn't? Will he then die or be unhappy for the rest of his life? Do you notice something?
Conan o Brian and Craig really did what other shows couldn’t replicate. An honest authentic encounter with respect on both sides and without taking the conversation too seriously. The point is to play up the GUEST not rush them to the punchline; although I guess in this time the instant gratification catches views faster.
I feel like a lot of youtubers who have criticized people in the past for being involved with gambling, are suddenly taking sponsorships for gambling. Quite strange huh.
I’ve heard TONS of horror stories from live audience members like Fallon getting irrationally angry about the crowd not laughing “hard” enough at “his” jokes.
As an autistic person, this video made me realize that Jimmy Fallon is probably autistic. He avoids eye contact or makes way too intense eye contact. He has had a lifelong obsessive special interest (SNL). He neglected his health and personal life by focusing entirely on his career (executive dysfunction). He may have echolalia, a condition that can involve mimicking other people's voices/accents or vocal mannerisms. He is awkward or "robotic" in interactions with other people. And he uses alcohol to self-medicate, which is much more common for autistic people who are social or work with the public. It's a way to dull the fear and sensory overstimulation that comes with social interactions. He would probably be so much better off if he got a job behind the camera at SNL. Less pressure, less interaction with other people, and he could still obsess over the show.
@@AuDHDarlingThank you SOOO much for pointing this out, I thought the same. And yes, it was especially the self-medication with alcohol and the proclamation of it “helping functioning.” A lot of autistics use substances, especially alcohol, because inhibition is one of the biggest struggles there or the lack-thereof. Absolutely think Fallon has a similar reasoning to why a lot of autistics drink, smoke, or “self-medicate.” It’s not about a certain anxiety, or a distinct event, it’s about this vague goal of “functioning” generally, and “being able to socialize” as a whole. Thank you again for saying this. Jimmy is really harmless in comparison to his counterparts in Hollywood, this video is presented as if he’s committed a crime.
You should do a video about legal sports betting/online gambling and how's its a growing problem since it wasn't long ago when it became legal. Plus how young men are especially prone to these games and bets
I personally know someone who cleans his house who didn’t know who he was (she came from another country) and she actually kinda convinced me that he was a good dude he’s just dumb that’s all he treats her well
Johnny Carson did the Tonight Show for about 30 years; the programs were 90 minutes in length. The reruns with classic comedy filmed live and interviews with famous actors and actresses hold up well to this date. It's impossible to replace the best late night personality in television history, but I suppose they feel the need to try.
I grew up with Johnny Carson on late night TV when I was finally allowed to be up later. Everyone's been chasing Carson since he retired, and they've come up short. Conan O'Brien eventually took his place for me. Jimmy never struck me as funny, just the guy who could do good musical impressions -- his Jim Morrison doing "Reading Rainbow" is definitely memorable -- and kept corpsing during SNL sketches he was in.
Carson went to 60 minutes around 1980. Shortly, there was a guest host on Monday, with "Best of" on Tuesdays. He had several vacation days per year, too.
i really respect Graham Norton but i never understood why he did this to Cara Delavigne, that was embarassing for her and it was like they change him with his evil twin.
@@Vittrich I see your point, but I saw that as a harmless mistake which I'm sure he regrets. You can see that there was no malicious intention behind it, his show is well-known for always being saucy (mostly because his guests are comfortable enough to be saucy), so I guess for that moment, he saw too late that he misread the room and pushed her a little too much. The way I see, it was an honest mistake, especially since Cara is pretty open about her stuff usually

He sucks
I feel bad for him too
I agree with this take.
Agreed 💯
He looks really drunk in this clip.
I think Swift got it worse. He didn’t yell at Phoenix like he was trying to discipline a misbehaving kid.
Joaquin is awkward in most of interviews so I think it's unfair to judge Fallon on that specific incident.
@@DoctorJammer he's not being awkward though he's being nice and it's far more than that one example

i've never heard anyone mention Fallon as seeming sincere...that def made me raise my eyebrow when i heard it.
CONAN was the best.

@@laikanbarthAKA, an out of control trauma response that requires therapy because it negatively affects others and himself
Trauma isn’t pretty.
Yes, you are exactly spot on!@@thecavalieryouth
The trauma happend in his childhood related to his parents and the catalyst/compensation is the alcohol and the constant need for appreciation. I don't judge him for any of his actions, he didn't know better.

So are you very liberal and not turned off by the others?
I watch them so little and hardly know any of them. I guess it's their personalities and more radical politics. If you actually look at his career history the dude is insanely diligent and dedicated. He worked his ass off to get where he is today.

Bert Kreischer has entered the chat.
I like to imagine a different universe where Conan stayed on top.
Conan back on NBC in the 90s was the best. Him and Letterman. No one has done it well since that era.
If Conan had the freedom for the tonight show that he had on late night, jimmy would have never been seen on orbit to be a replacement until Conan's retirement in 2021
Wonder how many times Patrick will change the name before the weeks over😂
Legitimately good question 😂
29 times. Bet

this was a really great video. i see a lot of issues with a lot of semi-long content being that its too much filler, but honestly this was a great video. straight and cut to the point. this video could have easily been an hour long but you managed to tightly cut it down to only 21 beautiful minutes of watch time. subscribed and excited for new content!
Sanzitized
That’s a minor inconvenience
Because there's not really evidence of Fallon's even indirect involvement with the Sanz allegations. And believe me I'm not someone to defend Fallon, but this theory comes from a single anonymous source quoted in Vanity Fair.
Patrick...we will go on a public riot if you do not tell us to drink water...people are dehydrated😂😂
I absolutely love how instead of going along with Fallon's fake laugh, Kelly Rippa just looks confused as hell.

Okay, all Anne had to say was "The most embarrassing moment was hosting the Oscar's with James Franco." Anyone who watched it knows EXACTLY what she is talking about and why it's funny.

He is literally me 😂 I have extreme social anxiety so I feel like I have to overcompensate by being very complimentary and charismatic cuz idk what to do. I even do the forced laughter for no reason. Simply put, Jimmy is what happens when an individual with average charisma & social skills forces and acts as over the top as possible to portray himself as someone with lots of charisma and great social skills

@Steve-ns1uxsorry buddy, this isn't truth social. You're buddies aren't here to validate you.
And I'm sure a lot of those that haven't been exposed or racked up with evidence might be genuine or they're just really careful about how they portray themselves at all times when outside of their homes.
jimmy covers it decently well with the sound effects of the audience laughing so it doesnt seem like hes crazy and the only one laughing.
This has always been the way Fallen acts. On SNL he rarely made it through a sketch without laughing.
literally, I'm so fkn glad someone else can see that. he genuinely seems to just be a joyful dude i cannot possibly fathom how people can hate on someone for laughing and giving compliments 💀 and all the behind the scenes shit is he said she said, no one fkn knows. this video sucks 😂
@@c4ctusc4ctusc4ctus Either you're special ed or you're just not as fluent in English.
Seth Meyers also surprisingly does great interviews.
I love Conan
I feel like a lot of youtubers who have criticized people in the past for being involved with gambling, are suddenly taking sponsorships for gambling. Quite strange huh.

Thank you !
0:27 He “avoids eye contact”???? Wow. How damming… these are some truly revolting revelations!
No he instructs his staff not to look at him.
Lots of celebrities do this
As an autistic person, this video made me realize that Jimmy Fallon is probably autistic.
@@AuDHDarlingcrazy or he isn't autistic and just a poc lol
Pat got his bag…
im glad you made a video on this i was jus on a binge of reading bout him last night
Conan O'Brien and Graham Norton are the best and most genuine tv hosts we have
Amen
Writing is the single most important part of any show, film, game, etc. It’s insane how little respect, acknowledgement, and compensation writers get.
There's no one like Graham Norton, a master of his craft and unmatchable wit
i really respect Graham Norton but i never understood why he did this to Cara Delavigne, that was embarassing for her and it was like they change him with his evil twin.
Norton is first for me as well but close second world be Craig Ferguson and 3rd Conan. Can't remember any other late night show host feeling authentic
