@@RacingFlamingoOn those well-involved homes. Not effective at all. Maybe they were responding to requests from the ground to suppress the fire enough to by some time to get people or animals moved, but all the drops in the world are not saving those structures.
The burning embers landed on homes and burned them from the top to the bottom. That’s where the fire stops. The landscape many times isn’t even affected. It looks strange but it does happen.
@rescue4fortyfour so people with 5 million dollar homes couldn't put the hose on a roof to stop the fire? Last time I checked it's easier to burn a shrub than a roof... 🧐🤔
@@The_Quaalude Some people were able to stay as long as they could watering down their homes. Others had no warning and had to run from their homes immediately, unable to grab or do anything. There were many, many trees that burned down too and caused a lot of problems. 88 homes were damaged and 132 homes destroyed. Winds were gusting up to 100 mph which are hurricane levels. I saw homes with all different types of roofs burn down to the ground. It was an extremely hot and fast fire. Can you time stamp or tell me at what time you saw a five million dollar home I must have missed it. Thanks

Thanks for stopping and lending a hand. We got water on the chicken coop and they were all back in there in the morning. 🙏🏻
Glad to hear they’re ok!

@@Bike_105 what is the cause of the fire
I think those chickens will be laying hard boiled eggs for a few days.
Nice work, as always, Leo.
What a devastating fire. Thank you for letting those chickens out at 0:11. Such a terrible fire. Great footage as always. Subscribed.
Wow! Thank you
At least the winds have calmed to the point that aircraft can fly...
No water tanks
No water pumps
No fire hoses
No chance.

The very same day. 😅
2:21 Well there’s a fitting analogy of things to come post Jan 2025…
CA no doubt. The Midwest learned forest management after the great fires of 1800.
Yeah, tell us you nothing about wildland fire or forest management without telling us.
This fire did not start of spread to a forest.
California is a farm land, I'm sure yall have those big sprinklers farmers use for irrigation.
Show the water hitting homes. Stop following helicopter as they drop
Exactly! I think it's just human nature to follow the aircraft as it flies away, but I want to see how effective the drop is.
Yup inexperienced cameraman.

The houses are on fire and not the trees? 🤔

Typical liberal finding joy in someones else misery.
They like Trump, but Trump doesn't like them for being in CA. Best of luck
