    The fee is actually a tax. It’s a play on words to take more of citizens wealth in the hopes of minimizing resistance. They’ll keep charging fees until we all become “houseless”.

    A regressive tax that punishes people who live on busier streets (causing lower property value)? That offers discounts to neighborhoods in the middle of gentrifying but not low-income neighborhoods? Really wonder how Denver passed something this broken.

      what do you really think how anything public is paid for? do you think the state takes a job and pays for public things from it's income? or could there be something...like maybe a tax...that is used to pay for public spaces. i know it's completely alien to fox viewers to use their brain, but really, what do you think how maintanance of public spaces is paid for?
