Auto detailers are going to love this thing. Flex makes some awesome paint polishers so if a detailed is already invested in the line this vac is a no brainer. I would like to see Flex offer a kit with battery and charger included.
I definitely like it as a detailer. But I already have the M18 cordless vac, and love it. Might buy this just because I'm OCD and love everything to be monochrome. It's seriously why I don't use Flex polishers as much, just because they're red. I use my Rupes more. But the cordless PXE mini is untouchable right now. I use it every day. Lately I've been using my cheap cordless full size polisher and loving it. Haven't used a cord in months. Worth every penny.
I just brought this one a couple of months ago, but I haven’t been able to find any bags for it since. This vacuum is one of the best little portable vacuum that you can buy. I love using it in my house, my garage, and best cleaning out my car. My biggest problem now is that I can’t find any bags for it, and now it’s nothing but a big paper weight for me. Flex’s needs to start selling bags for it in the stores. I’ve called them and they have told me that I can buy them in the stores but they are never in them. The stores have told me that they have never received any of them. I hope Flex’s can get this taken care of soon.

Hello. I'm from Russia. Bought a very similar design vacuum cleaner from metabo. but what you demonstrate is more thoughtful and equipped. And you demonstrate very fun and diligently 👍
Looks like a solid vacuum! 👍🏻 I say run it side by side with a competitor using that setup when you ran the two Milwaukee vacuums. That video and test was awesome! Looked like you had put a ton of time into building. Great video as always, have a awesome night!! Showed the family! Two thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻 😎

@@VCGConstruction thanks Vince. This is much appreciated. I saw fex version of that vacuum in Europe and theirs is red like Milwaukee. Plus they have couple more attachments like a wheels and mounting plate for the wall everything just clicks in.
Can anyone tell me if you can operate this little vac WITHOUT the bag and just dump it when full?... or will it simply blow a bunch of debris out the exhaust without the bag?
What I find is missing from this vacuum is an extension wand when I do work and stuff falls in the floor I'm 62 years old I don't feel like bending down yeah I can grab a broom and sweep it up and get on my knees and use the vacuum to suck it up but I noticed my extension tubes won't fit the tube at the end of the vacuum do you have any thoughts how I can change this
I could see that used in an office area, a home owner, apartment dwelling, or even a handyman. But not in a professional contractor's environment. It don't look beefy enough, although I do like the Flex line. Thanks for the demo Vince.
Definitely not for big jobs due to capacity and hose size. The electric big brothers would destroy this Bam Bam of a vacuum, however if your already vested in FLEX tools, it’s a no brainer. Buy it for small jobs. The portability is a time, space and back saver.
The proprietary dust bags are still not available for sale. Whatever the rubber hose is made of, it has a chemical reaction with the paint of the logo. The handle is unsupported on one end, so it will likely develop stress cracks and break. Yes, I own this product.
Same. I got the m12 as a Christmas gift to myself and I genuinely like it, but I have nothing to compare it to, so I'd be curious to know if there are potentially "better" options. It's kind of irrelevant if my m12 works for me, but still would like to know.
It would have been interesting if you weighed the entire vaccum before and after the test to get the best number. The same test on carpet would also be really interesting. Maybe we'll see a flex vs Milwaukee vac showdown to put it in context 🤞
Can we change the hose? From another flex vacuum model? It's too small I use it perfectly but I really hate the hose . When the vacuum start the hose is smaller and I get resistance when I pull it in car seat or carpets
9:50 by your hand, that rotating switch is a "power controller so to speak, and you have it open, allowing the vacuum to not operate anywhere near full capacity of cfm bcause most of them are going out that hole by your hand! spin the switch
Hey Vince! long time viewer and subscriber. I'm in the market for a cordless battery powered vacuum and i have been looking at various channels for comparisons with these compact units. I've seen a great video from project farm that did a great comparison with various battery powered cordless vacuums, however Flex was not represented in that video. Probably because the flex wasn't out yet. Can you please do a real world comparison between the flex and competitors please? I own the dewalt and Makita line set platforms but am certainly open into going with another line. I am a DIY homeowner that uses my tools on a daily basis, so I need a line that is both reliable and powerfull
I accidentally broke mine after having to drain a flooded basement, which in the rush I forgot to take out the filter the whole time. Have to say though even though it broke I did use it for multiple hours before I realized what I did. Luckily I have a lifetime warranty and their customer support is excellent!! Can't wait to see a bigger offering in cordless (hopefully backpack style)
Silly Vince you could very easily pick up those fasteners quicker by hand than with that vacuum and save them for the job that needs to get done… but I understand if you suck up all the screws than the boss has to go get more supplies which means longer hours and work which means more pay… the tool really does pay for itself.
It's a great vacuum I keep in the back of my Mercedes van I do residential remodeling. I have three 10 amp batteries let me tell you if you put a 2.5 battery in it or 6 amp battery in it the stacks amp it runs it runs fast. When you put that 10 amp stack battery in it it's like supercharged or has a blower on it it just really picks up anything and it's really great now don't get me wrong it's not like a rigid 15 gallon vacuum but for little vacuum that you can pick up stuff with on your job it's great. I bought it for $129 at Lowe's and they gave me a 3.5 amp battery which is stacked for free. You can't beat that look for the deals at Lowe's where I live in Boca Raton they put these things on clearance Don't ask me why I don't know but I go there every couple weeks and I buy them. They have the cut tool you use to cut outlets with normally $99 on clearance for $24. it makes you wonder why Lowe's is dumping these tools for cheap but I'll keep buying them Make sure I got enough batteries put away.
I would really like to see manufacturers have deals that actually come with the battery and charger any more for those that are new to a line or just starting out. Cuz that's an awesome vacuum at an amazing price, I'm okay with the tool only deals but it would be nice to see complete packages as well as tool only as these tool only deals that manufacturers are doing now is good for some people if they have the line; but bad for people that do not already own a tool in that line Because by the time I buy a battery and charger for the thing it's going to be a $250 unit if I only have one tool in their line I don't want to spend $250 for it. I think it would draw more people to their line if there were a moderate discount as a package whereas the established contractor would benefit from the tool only prices because he already has the Packs. Please Do a review on a similar tool from Makita or Ryobi since I already have those lines and won't have to buy more chargers and batteries.
