I was afraid when i first clicked the video that i was going to be swayed from buying a FLEX. I wasnt, and now im the proud owner of my very first impact from and A W E S O M E brand! Thank you!!
@@ToolReviewZonethere is just something about hitting that turbo button. It's a game changer and I completely understand about needing it to be on the tool!

Love the calming piano music at the end of your video. Truly believed that helped calm you down from the lack of a Turbo mode on that Flex impact wrench. Awesome video bro 👊
Picked up my 1/2” hammer drill from my Lowe’s locker two days ago. I’ve the driver, the multi-tool and the router and the router plunge adapter. I’m totally sold- eyballin’ the circ saw next… the new table saw is also calling my name.
Man, I wish all reviews were like this! Oscar worthy! So many emotions in 8 minutes. For a second, I thought there was going to be a cut scene of a plush dog being thrown across the room when you said you were mad at everyone. 😂 Oh also I'm thinking about going with Flex. Thanks for the great review!
Just bought one today and i was like what better way to test it other than rotating some tires and my god that thing busted those lugs off without even hammering and it blew my mind with the sheer force it has. I am more than happy paying the 200 dollars for a quality tool with a lifetime warranty.
The bottom lights on the flex drills works great actually, I have both variable speed and the premium impact, 3 drills , and the big impact wrench. I took the variable speed into my very tight attic to do work on the furnace and I could see just fine in the dark with that thing. The trade off to not having the Dewalt/Milwaukee lights is a lifetime warranty my man. We all know with those lights it’s just a matter of time before they don’t work.
@@williamlazaroff5478 I would prefer a ring light or 3 or 4 lights like milwaukee around it for working equipment or engine or such often just one light is bad bad because you may have to block the light just to get the tool in the right spot
Listen homie..... that dog was a rescue that I saved from a shelter, and as for wifey.....I was very upset about this whole turbo thing....that's on her, not me 😡
Lowes had these kits on clearance for $67, YMMV. I almost didn't buy it after I googled this Flex model # in the store and saw the title of this video. Luckily I clicked on the Torque Test Channel video instead and got the real info.
I like a few if them. The Milwaukee os still awesome because they have so much stuff, the Flex StackPack is really well thought out, and the ToughBuilt system has an amazing connection system. The ToughBuilt just needs a few more things to the lineup, but will be an awesome contender
The thing about the 'turbo-button' is I personally just want the tool to do the job and do it without me having to put the tool in turbo mode. 🧐Knowing full well that 'turbo-mode' can be accomplished automatically, 😕without the need for another button.🤨 Seems a little gimmicky, though I understand and appreciate anyone else's attachment to the little button.🤓😎
Driving 1/2” lags with a 1/4 drive doesn’t make sense to me. It doesn’t tell me much. I’m going to use my 1/2” impact for that. Also flex may be a little better than Dewalt but everything I own is Dewalt and I own all the tools Dewalt makes. I don’t see me changing. More power isn’t always the answer.
And that's understandable but at some point, all of those tools will break and then what? Flex lifetime warranty is peace of mind and it's never too late to start the transition into a different brand.
Never liked the Turbo button, seems to gimmicky for me, no other brand I have used had a turbo mode. Mode 1,2,3 are all you need. But forget about the turbo mode I've had to warrant 6 batteries already because of leaking and some not charging anymore most likely because of the leaking.
I can tell you that I have continuously bought FLEX tools since the first generation they released and I haven't had a single tool fail me, aside from one impact that got the bit bearing stuck and wouldn't hold the bit in but that was fixed in about 10 minutes with a pair of lock ring pliers, minimal effort and a couple drops of gun oil. I haven't and wouldn't look back. I'd honestly go as far as to say that it's the brand of tools that you always knew you needed but could never find! Rest assured, Ill be with flex till the end of my career. GUARANTEED. Plus, there is just something about the peace of mind that the lifetime warranty provides. 👌
Flex has to try something new… no turbo on the high torque either… I’ve never seen a single person purchase a flex tool aside from myself.. the Home Depot is in the same area and you can’t get a tool from the cage without waiting in line.. maybe there’s regional differences?
Not sure if it’s copyright infringement , but playing a little Judas Priest , dare I say “Turbo Lover” in the background would be real nass like for a flex video .
During the research and development stage, the prototype had a turbo mode, they engaged it only once, and it caused a tear in the space time continuum, they barely got it repaired, and immediately removed the turbo mode. Of course if you were to ask them about it, they will all deny it ever happened. As the CERN collider crew swore them to secrecy about accidentally ripping the fabric of space time ...
I was afraid when i first clicked the video that i was going to be swayed from buying a FLEX. I wasnt, and now im the proud owner of my very first impact from and A W E S O M E brand! Thank you!!
They should do a recall and add a turbo sticker to all their tools 😅
And it should be immediately 😡

MID TORQUE OR HIGH TORQUE THEY ARE BOTH THE SAME PRICE. MAINLY NEED IT FOR BRAKE CALIPERS, LUG NUTS AND JUST LIFT KIT INSTALLATIONS?
It’s a clear example that the turbo button was just a gimmick to get consumers attention.
