Hey Chuck, That AD10 wearing Full-Ti sure looks SWEEEEET! I haven't thought what would be 'Knife of the Year' for me, but I agree that one is an excellent contender! Two knives I was really excited to get this year were the CRKT Persian Limited Edition (in CPM Magnacut) and the CRKT Redemption in Magnacut. I'm not usually a big CRKT fan, but I really liked the quality and design of these 2 blades and the fact that they were made in Italy, by Lion Steel, and the USA, by Hogue, (respectively). Another knife that recently got me very excited was the Benchmade 273-03 Mini Adamas in CPM-Magnacut with the marbled CF scales (I know that one was released in 2023 though). I'm a huge fan of the BM Adamas line, so I really hope they release a similarly upgraded full-size version in the future. Anyway, you're so right, the AD10 in Full-Ti's heft, durability, lock-strength, beauty and function are all EPIC! And, like you said - such a great value for what you get! I live in a country (Singapore) that has extremely strict knife laws and very few options for importers/distributers. In fact, I can't even really carry ANY of my many knives outside my house without risking jail time and/or heavy fines - even a 2 inch slip-joint! To carry a knife on my person, I need to have a specific reason like, "I'm driving to a campground right now.", and, even then, it's up to the police officer's discretion and my ability to convince the officer. Also, they don't consider "self-defense" a viable reason to carry a knife. But . . . I "PITY THE FOOL" who tries to break into my house!! Hahaha! We do have ONE excellent online shop who can get a wide variety of knives from most of the top quality brands (it's called "Urban Tool Haus"), so, AS SOON AS I saw that AD10 version in Full-Ti, I immediately emailed the owner to ask if he can get one in for me. I'm not sure why, but he said that one was a "No". Maybe the release is limited somehow, I'm not sure (he does have many other Cold Steel knives - including the standard AD10). Thanks, your video reminded me to check back with him to see if anything has changed. Meanwhile, enjoy the freedom you have to carry and use your knives in the US of A (unless you're in California!😉).
Unique choice ... but can't argue with your logic if one desires a heavy-duty, exclusive, premium folder that will always perform for the money. Thanks Chuck.
My pick of the year is probably a knife that didn't even come out this year...or in the last 5 years 😆 I gotta get a CS in hand sometime to see what the fuss is all about. I'm usually drawn to design more than functionality, so these don't really appeal to me much at all since the look is kinda boring. But man that's a beefy knife. Which means I at least dig something about it 😁 Happy New Year to ya bro, let's hope this is the start of good things happening vs the last few years we've been stumbling through 😬😎👊
Interesting opinion to consider. Definitely a great knaf but I personally don’t think it worth more than 250. I would probably choose almost anything by kunwu over this for 250 to 350 range.
The grind on tje AD10'S from what I understand is suppose be be different from side to side. Someone explained why it's ground like that but I forget why. I have #127 black and have 2 other AD10'S and the grinds have all been the same. It is irritating when sharpening tho. I really wanted a raw Ti version and waited to long.
Very nice ! Im fairly new to knife game but just curious I see amazon has some of the cold steel stuff for so much cheaper . Are the amazon ones typically replicas ?
Fantastic pick for 2024. Number 044 will most likely never leave my collection
Thanks, man. I'll probably end up selling the black one. The other has already seen use and it's more of a go-to for me
I was lucky enough to snag one at Blade. Absolutely agree. It is my favorite production folder this year 👍👍
I think you were the first person I saw with one.
I love mine to brother ! It really blows my mind how nice it is and I’ve been collecting for years like you 👍🏻👊🏻
Yuuuge surprise how premium feeling it is!

Crkt can surprise at times. I'd love to see a non-chinese, premium m16 be released. That's one of my favorite models from 20 something years ago

Thanks for watching! It was the surprise of the year for me
I absolutely luv mine, too! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Right on, bro.
Thanks for the cool video, and best wishes for the new year, brother! 🎉
Thanks man. You too
My pick for the year is CRK large Inkosi Carbon fiber! Not a new knife but it's incredible.
The knifeart exclusives are really nice
I came close to selling mine , glad I changed my mind
I'll keep one, probably not both.
The winterblade co factor 8 was my favorite pick up in 2024. And this ad10 was a close second.
Nice. I haven't tried a winterblade yet, but they seem pretty cool
👌🏻

Lol that remains to be seen! CS just puts out good stuff. They are fairly "simple" in their construction but get one in hand.
Very Knife! 😅👊🍻🔪
It knife

Anything made in China is automatically not considered for me. I did a video on it, I just don't buy them anymore.
What bead is this?🤗
It's from Olamic. Got it with a knife a while back

That's weird I'll need to look into that
@chucknunface I should ask about it in the Demko Dynamics group cause they Demkos are part of that group. Could get a real answer talking to them.
@S4Detroit if you find out, please let us all know.

Not replicas, but be careful of the seller. I have heard stories of some Amazon cs to be a little wonky. Midway USA is a good place for cs
@ thank you ! Appreciate that
