I love seeing videos like these. You get a sense of a person's taste and what common threads flow through their collection. That's a one of a kind SMF. And that AD-10 limited edition is the perfect variant of that knife. Not sure how you could make it better than Ti and 3V
Some amazing knives on the keeper list. Gotta hate it when you sell a knife and before it's delivered you're buying another LoL I've regretted so many sells I've made. My never sells are killer gifts from friends. Really enjoyed the video you have great taste in knives !!!
@chucknunface ha I'm old and dated it's a good thing. I've got a gifted Freedom CF flipper allot of bill boarding on the blade but great size great in all ways only button lock I've had that just has that feel. Have you handled one
Was hoping your Strider Captain America would make the list, definitely one of my favorites!! Your honorable mentions were great and I think a Stitch will always have a spot in my collection also!!
I've owned and sold all you had there of a flavor except the Ad10, I still have it. My regret was a bg42 sebenza and leather sebenza. I loved them all but hardships forced me to sell what sells and they sell for the same reason I bought them. There good knives. My rekat sifu, cook lochsa, strider nightmare and a few others that are just irreplaceable I've learned to not sell.
Working on selecting my 7 list but the Hinderer Bowie, Zt green one, Crk 31 have definite spots with the stitch possibly taking a spot also. Other undecided yet
You have a Dope top 5.... Never say never... My top 5 Skiff Fugitive minimal royal blue hardware SPK Lamia Gen 4 polished NG Scales Brown pattern #1 Mini FSD-I Mini Arius Corda pattern NF blue hardware Para 3 Magnacut w RG Custom scales.😅
This list makes me feel like I’ve been transported back to 2012 but in a good way! Awesome list man hope to one day have one of my own of each of those
@ I mean yeah there’s been a ton of great stuff back then. As long as they are still checking out newer knives and don’t have a bias against change then I see it as completely valid.
There's definitely some awesome newer knives, and I didn't mean to make my list full of classics. Maybe it's the fact that I've had a bunch and sold that I wish I'd kept
@ nah man i respect it. Classics are tried and true for a reason. Maybe 10 years from now when these new knives are as tested as the older ones the list will be Different but I respect your list especially knowing you’re objective and still do enjoy other newer blades.
I agree, that ZT would be difficult to replace, and it is such an iconic/legendary knife to have in the collection! Also, he can't sell the Captain America Strider - what would he tell his son! Can you picture his face when he finds out it's sold? Could be: 😮, 😭, 🤬, and/or 😵💫 Can't sell that one!
Awesome video brother. I like the legacy choices in that 303 and definitely agree a CRK is mando. Also interesting that most of your choices are larger. Watching your videos is really making me considering launching this channel up, since the OG one got taken down.
Do it! Watching it myself, it strikes me that not much coming out in the past few years has "staying power", at least not for me. I've had a whole bunch but not much I'd consider a lifelong acquisition
This was a cool one😎🤘🤘. I kinda went all in for the customs so that would make it so much more difficult to narrow down. And it seems in my collection that nothing is safe if I have my eye on something else 🤪🤓
You have chosen...wisely. I have what I think are a top 25 but then again I have sold some knives I never thought I would. Eventually I take a look at a knife, handle it, and decide I don't love it enough to keep it anymore and off it goes. A knife I've re-bought is the ZT 0850. I have the two versions it was made in, now. That's an amazing knife. Best action of any knife I've ever owned, net to the 0801. I have yet to climb into the upper echelon of knives, however, so once I start getting CRKs, Striders, Hinderers, etc...my entire collection could flip. I don't think I'll ever sell my full set of the Kershaw Bareknuckles, though. They made 8 versions and I very recently acquired the final missing piece. Pretty cool to have a full set of a production knife like that. USA-made, too. Sweet pieces man, cool to see some of them once again 😎🤘
I gave all my fixed blade hunting knives (Buck) to my nephew for deer hunting. All I have left are a couple filet knives and one fixed blade. The rest of my knives are all folding knives.
Hey Chuck, I completely agree - those 5 are DEFINITELY KEEPERS (including the honorable mentions)! All are stunningly beautiful/cool; made with premium, top-notch quality/fit/finish; and superbly designed! If someone were to sell ANY of those, they must have been: 1. Crazy 2. Drunk 3. Wife was threatening divorce because of his knife collection 4. Starving to death and needing money for food! (Even #4 is not justified because they should go to the homeless shelter/food bank before selling any of these!). 😆 Just joking (kind of); I know it's a personal decision and people should do what they want with their own property without grief from others. My main point is - those are some AWESOME KNIVES!
Mine are: Mini-fsd Knife art large inkosi dp Zaan dp Xm-18 Bowie nf Arno Bernard Imamba nf Prince customs protean Benchmade large freek m-4 Demko AD20 Full Flat grind Quiet carry drift full ti McNees Mac 2 3.5 bgm regrind
Can't argue with how cool all this are... Just can't get myself to spend that kind of money on knives. Once you get past $200, there is basically no real value added in a knife other than aesthetic or feel good USA mfg/custom factor.
@@chucknunface 😂 it's insane! Got my 20cv/G10 Bugout for $155, and can't even imagine how they're asking $200 for grivory base models now... But the others on your list are definitely much better and worth a premium compared to BM, alllll dayyyy

Thank you bro. They're all kinda dated but I guess I have a type

@rodneypearson6986 i don't know that one...🤔
Awesome video brother. I appreciate ur taste.
Thank you, man. I appreciate the comment
Was hoping your Strider Captain America would make the list, definitely one of my favorites!! Your honorable mentions were great and I think a Stitch will always have a spot in my collection also!!
Oh yeah! The boy gets the capt 🇺🇸 for sure. The stitch is just damn cool
Great list! Mine are Zaan, Paysan, Shaman, Evo 2.0, and Arius.
Solid list!

Thats definitely a good thing.
I love when people make some kind of "best knives ever" type video, when they've never owned anything made before 2019.
@ I mean yeah there’s been a ton of great stuff back then. As long as they are still checking out newer knives and don’t have a bias against change then I see it as completely valid.

You definitely don't want to let go of the old ZT. Thanks for sharing brother 🤙 I been after that 300 ZT but it's hard to come by.
You can get them, but their pricey af if you're not patient.
@ExtraCrispy357 yeah, the strider stays for sure.

I definitely gravitate towards the larger ones
Serious adolescence vibes with the big beefy blades! I dig it! I still remember opening a zt0301 for the first time! !!!Excalibur!!!
I remember seeing that one in a display case and thinking "it's cool but pretty expensive, I have my benchmade". Now I wish I had bought a few lol
This was a cool one😎🤘🤘. I kinda went all in for the customs so that would make it so much more difficult to narrow down. And it seems in my collection that nothing is safe if I have my eye on something else 🤪🤓
I feel pretty much the same way...never say never! Thanks for the work you did on 2 of my favorites

Very cool, pokemoning a model is dope. And thank you, Sir Gawain
@@chucknunface yeah, I did catch them all. That was a fun side quest 😆
And good job picking up on that reference. Three cheers for you old boy! 😎
That Captain America Strider is an outrageously cool piece!
It's definitely a unique one
I gave all my fixed blade hunting knives (Buck) to my nephew for deer hunting. All I have left are a couple filet knives and one fixed blade. The rest of my knives are all folding knives.
That's cool
Good vid👌
Thanks, man
The drop point Zaan and the Captain America M.Strider are on the grail list for me !
And the hunt continues...
Happy hunting!
Man them knives are huge
I like bigger folders
Would love a demko ad10. Hopefully he starts making customs again with a tweaked triad lock
He's doing a few full custom 10s recently. I'm priced out. I'd love a "midtech" a la ad20 from them though.

Unfortunately, your average benchmade is over 200 now, so I'd say there is added value up to a point.
@chucknunface 😂 that's why I stopped buying BM!
@DeerUNIT42 how much for this basic bitch benchmade? Gonna need bout treefiddy
@@chucknunface 😂 it's insane! Got my 20cv/G10 Bugout for $155, and can't even imagine how they're asking $200 for grivory base models now... But the others on your list are definitely much better and worth a premium compared to BM, alllll dayyyy
Tops wild pig hunter ❤
Oh. I get it now.
Well, you lost me at the strider, noticed I did not capitalize his name. When I think of him, I think of stolen valor……
Ok
Folders 😂?? What are we in 3rd grade again? 😅
Pretty common term.
I'll never sell my buckmaster 184
Good idea.
