The definition of what a real genuine rock band looks like, plays like, and sounds like is AC/DC. They didn't care about an agenda, they didn't care if they were glamorous, all they wanted to do was write music and perform it for their fans. Greatest band of my generation!
It's unbelievable how Bon was able to work with his voice from soft parts across dirty ones to screaming levels... He was so amazing and unique singer, one of the best singers of all time!!!
This is a song that just seems to start so calmly and build up and then come back down and back up without losing control. The band dynamics are fantastic along with Phil's cool solid and intense unchanging beat. It's a well written song and well done by all of the members

Such a smoky groove. It’s not fast, not complicated and somehow more bad ass than should be allowed.. I guess that’s the magic of AC/DC… It’s all attitude and power, just pure rock ‘n’ roll.

@@acemechanical275 I think this is just a sync problem between the audio and the video. You can see it in all of the instruments and voice. I'm sure if the sound was sync'd to the video, we'd maybe see that it isn't lip-sync'd at all.

Saw them open for Ted Nugent and Cheap Trick. The headliners had by then made sure that the volume was set down low on shit equipment so they wouldn't be upstaged by this amazing band. Wouldn't be long after that they were selling out stadiums all by themselves.
I was at three of their concerts in Memphis TN back in the early 80s after Bon died. May he be forever resting in peace. I wish I could have seen him when he was their frontman. But I have to say Brian Johnson was a great replacement. There was a rumor that Bon actually recommended Brian as his replacement if anything ever happened to him. Whether that's true I have no idea. ACDC was one of the most legendary concert/arena rock bands for three decades. They were absolutely awesome!

It's quite interesting how well the Oranges work considering how different they are from Marshals. AC/DC were always one of those bands who could play through anything and still sound the same so I'm not totally surprised.

I've also seen other 'live in studio' performances with a backline all Orange amps, most notable to me was Black Sabbath on 'The Beat Club' and I think there was also a Jethro Tull performance I saw with them all playing through Oranges in a similar setting. I saw these guys in 75 + 76 saw them playing this , I had a "I do it for ac da" badge and I was up front of the stage Angus grabbed it of me to have a look ,I was only a kid and I was blown out, nearly 50 yrs later n I still love the bon scott years, pity about the delay on this clip, I know the musics live live but looks weird when Bons singing doesn't match the audio

I'm from Boston, I was 16 back then, I liked them from the begining, solid rock band.
Boston here too I was 4 then. But 3yrs later a friend of mine was playing highway to hell the full album I was hooked ever since.
