And to think I was probably the only one who's ever caught that. Argued with my buddies for decades over that riff. We're a pack of old farts now and some of the old crew still claim its "ANGUS ONLY" LOL.
@@Pressplay_Media_EU Ummmmmm, you what?! Never heard of this???? It's not from a concert. It's a BBC RADIO 1 studio session and has been broadcast on The Friday Rock Show with Tommy Vance, and on numerous other occasions herein the UK. I allow that you may be elsewhere in the world, or too young to know this, or perhaps both. Whatever the case, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Great quality sound as always from the BBC.
@@joaofabiodaconceicaorebouc3254 For me, without the epic solo at the end, this version is not as good as the studio one. I like them both though, but much better the other.
Most definitely! I remember actually feeling disappointed when I bought their first album on cassette, having already heard this session in Radio 1 (and recorded it onto chrome cassette, which I still have and which still sounds better than the album!) Well done BBC RADIO 1 for making such an excellent recording in 1976!

Thank you very much for posting - are we predicting a limit lifespan for the video? As someone says, I know Peel didn’t like AC/DC at some stage but do we know if these 4 tracks were broadcast in their entirety? BBC sound engineers deserve huge credit.
Little Lover lyrics "... when i see the wet touch on your seat ...". It's simply GEIL. Bon was the greatest Rock lyricist ever. He told real situations in his songs. Awesome. Nobody does it better. R. I. P. Bon By the way, this four songs are for radio broadcasts, this is not the raw and real AC/DC sound.
High Voltage's chord progression originally were supposed to be A , C , D , C , But the band is very finnicky still, so it didn't sound right, they changed it to ACDA , and believe me the original doesn't sound right it's off, I'm glad they changed it, ACDA is much better sounding.. After all, it's not AC/DC it's Acca Dacca 🐺
Was this polished up with any pitch or rhythm correction? I've been a fan for over 40 years, they are my favorite band, am a guitar player myself, been in bands and recorded albums. I have never heard them sound this good live, especially the backing vocals, which are perfectly in tune.
At 13:46, Mal throws in this brilliant little improvised riff like it's nothing.
Priceless

This sounds so fucking good for 1976, so glad that this exists
I can't believe we never heard of this AC/DC session until now, but there are noodles of oodles of them
Radio simulcasts were great and of course it's ANALOG 😁🤘

1976! Imagine the hype this boys must've felt, traveling all across the world for some shows...! Top quality audio!!
Jeez some of these sound Better than the Album releases

The boys have always been best set very LOUD in a live situation 🤘🏼
Awesome recording!
"Live Wire!" I said High! ❤️
Acdc should release this officially
Mark Evans in the classic line up
He added the bottom the tunes needed. In a different way than Cliff Williams.
malcom’s groovy rhythms are the heart of ac⚡️dc 🔥
The quality of this is amazing. It's better than Live from the Atlantic Studios imho. A really tight performance captured brilliantly by the BBC.
great, really great version of live wire
Makes me wonder if brothers should have kept Mark Evans. In my opinion, their best songs were crafted before Mutt Lange produced highway to hell.

Sounds great
que lindo verlos sonar tan bien luego de 48 años!!
When I hear that fantastic pounding bass sound from Mark Evans I can't help but think that this the best line up. Sorry Cliff
Mark is great, but he couldn't have handled the band's musical evolution. Cliff had the skill to do that.

Weren't they after a bassist, who could sing ?

Malcolm was doing the solo bit in Can I sit next you girl
Yes, not as strong vibrato as Ang and not as distorted a sound
Mal did some soloing up till 1977
A cold November night in Newcastle England-Brian’s hometown n the DC currently warming me n the neighbours right up!🤘🤘

They now really do need to start releasing all of these great unreleased songs and live recordings, especially during the Bon Scott years.

Yes broadcast of all 4 songs has been on BBC radio.. a few times over the years.
Yes, I can confirm it was broadcast in full. I heard and recorded it on a BASF chrome cassette which still sounds wonderful in 2023!

Where's the one we're they played baby please don't go
That’s the Paris Theatre show. Shid Pasta has it.
They played that at the old Waldorf in 77 too. I managed to grab that gig on cd a few years ago and it’s not been out of the cd player since…
Wooooow great sound! 🔥⚡
