- AC DC Live Wire From Let There Be Rock 1980
This one for my mates Gaz, Rossy and Dave ENJOY !!!
(the support act for this show was Judas Priest. I wish i could of been there)
God Bless Bon Scott (RIP)
rock in the 70s, crappy venues, crowds up against the stage, just marshalls and a few lights, no effin smartphones in the air - AWESOME times
This 1980 AC/DC show has Bon Scott, who revived in 2013.
Judgement - yes indeedy! Nowadays there's almost as many hi Vis stewards as the front row which is about 20 ft from the stage! And yes folks appreciating the moment not their precious phones.
Yes good concert time. All this shows today is nothing to this power on stage.
ah the smell of marijuana in the air!
Complaining about modern times and modern tech, yet here you are able to watch literally millions of videos anywhere you want and even leave a comment. Yeah, now sucks.
Unbelievable stuff. Who’s here in 2024?
Me!! I have this on Blu-ray one of the best concerts ever filmed!!
I start drinking wine and listen to A/DC since 1974.........50 years later it' s still has a great taste !!!!!!!!!!!!
What a masterpiece!!! This band is a fine tuned machine!!!
A killing machine!
@@michaelvronsky2013nope, that's The Priest!!!!
Was....reality check this was almost 50 yrs ago. If you were young and fortunate enough in that era to either have seen them live or smart enough to listen to the product then, you were witness to "World War 3" on the stage and on your turntable
Holy fuck! What can you say? I've watched this clip over a hundred times and listened to the corresponding recording on CD even more, it's so close to rock n roll perfection that I'm almost speechless. And to think this was their concert opener for several years, most bands would dream about having a song this good to finish with, not AC/DC, they start with it, they sort of use it as a statement of intent, a setting of the tone, I think that's why they are universally respected around the world, by young and old, they deliver, and that's why we love them!
I thought this was 79
@@miamibeachsunnydays8274 Yes, Dec '79.
The title Reads, December 1980. I went and saw this movie on the big screen, It was called let there be rock, Early 80s
@@miamibeachsunnydays8274 Some sources will say 1980 but it was actually Dec 1979, around Dec 8 I think. By Dec 1980 Bon Scott had already passed away.
Holy fuck says it all
One of rock n roll's greatest moments. Cliff starts it out on bass. Then Malcolm falls in. Phil starts the HEAVY drumming. Finally Angus who has climbed and jumped down 3 flights to get to the stage turns his guitar up. Bon makes sure to stay out of Angus' way. AND THIS IS THE FIRST SONG OF THE SHOW!!!! Sets the mood. You are about to see and hear the Hardest Rocking Band in history. "STICK THIS IN YOUR FUSE BOX!!!!"(Puny Mortals!!!!)
Awesome comment 🍻
The late, GREAT, Bon Scott. AC/DC was never the same once Bon passed. I give 'em credit and respect for carrying on with Brian, but Bon was the man with them.
You said it right Dave.
Bon the real article, Brian the good substitute, but still the substitute.
I totally agree.
That‘s right
Bollocks. They were two iterations of the best rock & roll band in the world. I don't feel the need to enjoy one less than the other. I get an urge to listen to a particular song usually, and it goes from there 😁
@Mr.Brenman21 You may be right, but I prefer Bon Scott.
Now, I love anything AC/DC ever did, and I love Brian, but there is just something about Bon, so effortless in his singing. They’re the best, hands down!
One of the best rock vocals in my opinion. Up there with ozzy, plant, jagger, Morrison,.Such a unique sound to it.. What a shame! No offense to Brian. Gods bless you! But could I have imagined the back in black material with Bon’s vocal? Would of been mind blowing
I’ll just offer the fact of the validity…in his lyrics…lived a rough and tumble life, did time, etc etc…gives every song of his with AC/DC so much validity
Back in Black might’ve introduced me to them.. But hearing Bon through these past 41 years convinced me. He was AC/DC and, the greatest Rock singer ever. I know that’s a big claim. However he deserves it.
Hey bro, that’s a great way to put it, I feel the same way, they were fuck n high voltage 😎
Bom Scott 4 ever was AC /DC BEST EVER SINGER
If ACDC started with Brian they would never have become the worldwide name they are now tbh
@@ray.shoesmith absolut richtig, aber ohne Brain gäbe es AC/DC nicht mehr!
Fucking awesome, they simply do not make them like this anymore.
Long live Rock n' Roll.
saw them on the Powerage tour ,with Bon Scott the greatest live band of all time.He was a great loss.Simply awesome
I can literally keep the same CD in the player for months, no problem, never gets old. Best band ever♥️♥️♥️♥️⚡⚡⚡⚡
He really can demenstrate what 100 percent pure rock,n roll is all about.
This is one of my favourite songs of ACDC......Absolute class!
Saw them 3X with Bon in 1979. Opened with Live Wire each time. Perfect opener.
Takes me back to 1979 when I seen them at the hammersmith odeon in London, this was the first ever song I heard (and watched) them play.
My Glaswegian mate persuaded me to go, we we're both in training for the army and he's brother had told him about them (who had just seen them in Glasgow), we didn't know any of their music or what they sounded like.
We spent the whole concert mesmerised by what was happening before our eyes.
On the way back to the hotel after, we felt like we'd both been violated, we just didn't speak, we had no words.

Angus was on God Level at this show. Unbelievable.
He WAS and IS god
it's wicked watching a young Angus.. 🙂
True & REAL Rock n Roll--that today's music ( if you call it RNR) can't touch!! --These guys are TRUE ENTERTAINERS!!
I was at the hammersmith. on my first acid cheering for more an hour after they left the stage being chased by the security who just wanted to get home. great memories,
AC/DC at its best. the rhythm section is running like a machine!!!!!
I will always miss Bon...
What a lost, despite that didn´t prived us of 40 years of the best rock´n roll.
all these years later and I still have never seen any band this exciting on stage.. just phenomenal.
Malcolm at his prime. In the background but the heart & rhythm of ACDC. Rip
Their awesome. And still going.angus
Hope you see this Julie. Agreed. There are segments of the entire film where you can see the camera man reacting too.. It's wild.
@@Zopf-international no one better acdc forever angus great guitar player none vetter
Absolutely
This song from this movie, in a little mall cinema complex, was the first time I even saw AC/DC perform. Completely life-changing. Have seen them live 5 times since. Best live rock n roll band. ever.
I regret that I never got to see them with Bon. But at least I got to see the next best thing live - the Back in Black lineup!
I fucking love Angus Young's energy. What a legend he is, stomping up and down that stage.
I've never seen anything like him in watching rock since 65 may be the who Woodstock era but still nothing like Angus
Totally agree!!
AC/DC: just pure hard Rock'n Roll ! Thank you for all !!!
No matter what kind of mood I'm in, this song picks me up. Might be the best live performance by ACDC I have ever seen. Even without all of the stage props and other stuff, phenomenal energy.
The 1980 of Bon Scott: these was the ultimate month of his life. R.I.P. Bon Scott
Best singer and best band of all time ⚡⚡⚡⚡
This is something that will never happen again in this universe. Best Rock N Roll ever!!
Torille!
Bon Scott, the story start with him, what a lost, hope i will have a drink with him in another world
Most energetic guitarist I've ever seen ANGUS YOUNG rock on
...and Without the aid of Chemicals other than Nicotine and black tea!
Jacob's Gaming and Music ok kid we get it her drank milk gosh he Also drank booze kid
Jacob's Gaming and Music but what would you know
Thta energy is fire! 🔥🔥🔥
I had this om vhs, and i saw this concert so MANY times over and over, that the clolours slowly deteorated with the sharpness of the film untill it was almost black-white, then the tape snapped. I have since re-bought it in vhs, dvd and bluray over the years. Still cranking it up🎩
@sara x pup I turned Black and white bcs of wear
That energy coming from angus is phenomenal
A friend once said he wanted whatever the drug Angus was on when he performed.
The answer I gave him both disappointed and excited him:
green tea.
I totally love these guys have my whole life my funeral will have an Angus solo played at it all day, I’m gonna throw some srv in there too but ya know
Good lord that was fast, hard, and flawless
This is still the greatest moment in rock'n'roll.
AC/DC at the peak of their powers!
There simply is no greater live band then AC/DC period 💪💪😁😁😁
Bon scott was definitley the best singer in ACDC no doubt about that.
Fantastic ! Best band on stage ever
Agree!
Metronome Malcolm......simply awesome!!!
If I were Angus I would have died in the 5th min. of the concert. Energybomb. Long live AcDc
No auto tune, flashy lights, fancy moving stages,or any of that diva shit needed...Pure talent and the music is what brought people to the party...Music today doesn't even come close...
Brian saved the band...........BUT this is AC/DC from '74-'80 sure miss BON it's been 40 years RIP.
Yeah Jeff I remembered when Bon died !
they're Killin it like nobody else can
Malcolm, Phil and Cliff crushing it here!! (Obviously Bon and Angus are killing it as well).
Bon Scott.... the master showman.... this was AC/DC.....
yes
Brilliant!!! Amazing!!! Perfect!!! They make me so happy!!!
Just the Greatest Rock n Roll band EVER!! \m/
Absolutely
I love watching this whole concert, especially bad boy boogie. Best version they ever did of that song. Plus I love the stage. Just a ton of plywood and their equipment. Simple yet outstanding.
Working out while playing guitar how can he do this amazed me when u saw thus concert in 80 still does 40 years on power raw power
AC/DC THE GODS OF ROCK
Paris 1979 is the best show i've ever seen.
Rest in peace Bon and Malcom. Best band of the 80's
70’s
Und jedes mal heftige Gänsehaut. Einfach endlos geil!
They have many overplayed hits. This for me is the absolute pinacle of the years when Bon Scott was alive and active... Incredible!!!!!
Amazing movie. Amazing band. Amazing crowd. Amazing time to live in. Rock was King, and not a crappy boy band in sight. So glad this is what was happening when I was growing up, and It's all I listen to today.
Agree!!
One of THE BEST LIVE BANDS IN THE WORLD !!!....and I have been a Rock & Roll nut since the early 60's and seen most of the Big Bands !!!
The Best for me! Forever!
Has to be one of the best solos ever!!!!!!
Angus' hat lasted exactly ONE chord. But it was a hell of a chord.
so many great songs, always with the hammer down. greatest band ever.
На концерте в Тушино в 1991 году, Ангус произвёл на меня очень сильное впечатление. Все плясали и подпевали группе и это было неимоверное шоу. Прямо завораживающее зрелище. Спасибо вам парни, Рок навсегда!
If there is a God of Rock and Roll, His name is Bon Scott...
Pure lighting
They were truly on fire back then..Wow!
The original and best line up (imho) .... Bon and Angus were absolute legends. The band were so appealing with their down to earth, real, unglamorous but truly talented line up. Love em
With Judas priest the Same Tour
Judas priest Bett better
Love the ending on the studio album
*THE LEGEND... that is AC/DC..!* 👍🏼 :PEACE:✌🏼🕊❤️😎
You mean the legend was and always will be bon Scott
This is the best rock and roll band i've ever seen! ⚡
Seen them 16 times live. Epic!
@@markonyrhinen8175 which was your favourite show?
@@jailbreak_7944 The first one for me (Helsinki 1991) was awesome. It changed my life.
Also Arnhem 2015 was Epic! First gig in Europe in 5 years. Met 4/5 of the Band before the gig (after rehearsals), Moments that i will never forget!
There will never be a band that could come close to such energy
Best band ever
This movie came out on VHS when I was in high school. Can't remember how many times I rented it.
Love this concert it's my all time favorite Angus young at his very best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Amazing how their live music sounds just as good as the recorded verson.
December 9th 1979 ,first of two shows on same day one in Afternoon one at night ,,Great to see ,,

This video is sooooooo awesome!!!!! You never hear Live Wire played live and with Bonn belting out the words as the front man........ Just epic!!!!! Thank you Simon for this so says Austin Tx !!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩😎❤️🍸
I saw them in Montreal in 1986. My ears are still ringing. I was 16 and that concert blew my mind.
I was there . I never missed Bon Scott the greatest showman i ever seen and without flourishes! only crude!
Now thats how a rockin roll show should start ok back too 3:14
Malcolm joined Bon today. " Heaven must have one hell of a band "
Robert Smith hell must have one heaven of a band
For sure. My two biggest guitar heroes, Malcolm Young and Chuck Berry, both went last year... Rock in Peace.
Robert Smith vagyok
Robert Smith Oy, friend, let's be real. They're going to their heaven, not The Heaven, but if that's how they like it, so be it.
Oi. Lets not forget Lemmy. He's probably busy drinking and fucking some young bird off stage.......
6x AC/DC LIVE IN FRANKFURT/GERMANY..Great Concerts.. 🎸💃🎇💫🎆🌀🎈✳️⚡💧🌊🔥🎉🔝🎸💃
An absolute natural, the way he would hit those high notes effortlessly
The very first Time I saw this movie 🎥 on VHS was back between (1984-1986)I believe at a schools mate house in L.A.I didn't much about AC/DC back then I read stories about them &Bon Scott.I bought my VHS then& now I have it on blue-rey&DVD combo pack with pictures, booklet & guitar pick from 2013-2015 when I lived still in California from Best Buy,🤔🎞️📼📺📸🎚️🎤🥁🎸📽️🎙️🎛️🎫💿🕯️💉🚬⚰️🤔🎥🇺🇲🇨🇱
Love how Malcolm staggers up to the mic and back to his spot like a robot.
My first view of AC/DC was on Whistle Test (Live Wire and Problem Child?).
My next view was live in Adelaide on the Back in Black tour while I was doing the working holiday visa thing.
The Legendary AC fkn DC
I was just ,4 years of age at that time....... but I sure wish I could've crawled into that show..... that night!!🤘🤘
AC/ DC Are the Greatest LiveBand Ever. TheBon Scot " ERA" Was Their Prime and WhenBian Johnson Came.in theyWere still better Than everyone else.Never Again will There Be A Lineup Like The " One Right Here"!!!!! N-E-V-E-R---E-V-E-R 😎🤘🤘☝️☝️💯
Many years have passed, yet Bon still stands atop as king. Unsurpassed in every aspect akin to rock! Elvis is not the king people!! Bon is King!!
Incredible ACDC, Angus runs across the stage, crosses Bon several times and all with cables ...great coordination...
Most high energy concert you’ll ever see
Yes, and I thin the very peak of the show is on song the rocker!
Agree!!
Only band that is not a sub genre…This is Rock&Roll, pure and simple.
"Stick this in your fusebox"
I usually listen to this band because they can load me like a bomb. What a beautiful vibe.
What a great tune that is, old school rock n roll for sure. I like to believe Bon Scott and Michael Jackson are scouts for the Invisible Medicine Army from the Indian Vision. They stand off to the side and watch Sitting Bull shoot an arrow thru Crazy Horses head.but one time he missed because Micheal Jackson and Bon Scott were clowning around, punching each other in the arm and laughing. When they should have been quiet and observing. Sitting Bull slipped and the arrow went thru Malcolm Young's head, instead, as he was getting up from the card table. Malcolm didnt see it coming and still doesn't know he has an arrow through his head and Bon Scott won't tell him because he thinks it's funny. Meanwhile, Crazy Horse is burping up black tar while snapping apples off an apple tree with his tongue, like a chameleon or something. Quite the scene, that's for sure.
It is very cool💪
Everytime AC/DC cheers me up⚡
hi sounds great I love it the best band ever thank you with bon rip
