Fantastic Batman collection right there! Always nice to see a growing batman collection. Its insane how many bat-centric books dc are releasing at the minute.
nice video! i've been trying to get the caped crusader and dark knight detective trades aswell but they're really expensive on amazon and most sites. Also contagion is pretty good but that edition includes lots of extra stories at the end which are fantastic! (especially the robin one...)
Yeah the Caped Crusader and Dark Knight Detective trades are super hard to get for a good price. I'm holding off for cheaper though because 80$ is a lot.
Awesome collection! What do you prefer? Paperbacks or hardcovers? I start having them mixed up and it bothers me a bit but I am considering buying more hardcovers from now on. Do you consider making them more uniform?
I honestly like the hardcover books better. The quality is better and typically if there is a hardcover available I will get it. The difficulty with older books, especially the New 52 is the hardcover versions are harder to find. I will probably keep buying both but will lean towards hardcover more frequently.
@@BlockadeWhoLaughs yeah exactly my feelings. I found the Grant Morrison run in deluxe hardcovers as used and I consider getting them since I cannot buy them new anywhere. Not sure if the Omnibus is better though. You don't collect any Omnibuses?
@@AlexisDelatolas I have only one Omnibus and that is the Golden Age book. Though not sure it counts. I do have one Omnibus on the way and will be a new video this week.
@@AlexisDelatolas also if you go to my recent video I have links to my Instagram and Twitter where I typically post about the channel and upcoming videos
Personally, I don't care at all about mixing paperbacks and hardcovers together or whatever. What bothers me is having my collection not organized chronologically. I spent a ridiculous amount of time and research making sure I can just pick a book up off the shelf and have the next one take place after. In general, I find paperbacks easier to read. Shorter books in hardcover I find have really tight binding and you fight the cover from slapping closed the whole time. Hardcovers about 400 pages long are pretty comfortable to read. While the binding of an omnibus can be really good, I struggle to read them because they're so heavy and bulky. I have yet to find a comfortable way of reading them.
Nice collection dude I gave your brother I think two graphic novel of batman - Batman and the ninja turtles - Batman and the Ghostbusters for his birthday or Christmas one year I think
I have a few Marvel GN but not many. I've been collecting for over a year or two. I had one shelf for roughly five years and just finally started picking up books again.
@@darioandstuff2061 I checked it out. Pretty cool video. I've enjoyed uploading videos. It's a lot of fun. I also love interacting with people who comment and fans. :)
Very nice collection, i have a few collected editions but most of my Batman collection is lots and lots of long boxes of single issues. You are lucky the first 2 books of the Dark Knight Detective series are crazy expensive and that is if one can even find them now.
Your collection is pretty much my goal I’m trying to get mine to become. So far I’ve got id say 1.75 shelf’s filled so far.
That's awesome. I had one shelf for maybe 8 years and now it's grown. Cheap Graphic Novels website and Ollie's really helped

He is basically their most popular character and sells well. I do wish they made the amount of books they did during New 52

BATMAN, swinging on a rubber band;
BATMAN, living in a garbage can;
BATMAN, screwing everyone he can
BATMAN, BATMAN, BATMAN
Will you make a new update video of you batman collection?
I will be working on that but since I moved things are still in boxes. But it will be updated hopefully by the end of the year.

Bro i like the tp more than hc lol
I like both. I typically like the paperbacks when they are thicker. Marvels paperbacks are awful.
@@BlockadeWhoLaughs thick pb are so nice, i like more how they feel in hand too
Ever heard of Batman ? I think you might like him. LOL !
Yeah I believe I've heard of him. Is he the guy with the pointy ears and has a lot of money. Haha
