This is the sequel to my most streamed song "Won't Be Saved," this time from the perspective of the antagonists of the story. Thank you all for your continued support. I learned a lot while making this and I could not invest as much time as I did into this song without your continued support. It seriously means the world to me. I hope you enjoy it.

Lyrics:
Be saved my friend
Be safe from all you fear
Be saved my friend
It’s freedom’s burden
Lemme ease your hurtin
We can feel the yearnin
Come embrace me, feel me and be saved
Our friend
Embrace the will of all
And taste the garden
We’ll remake man’s image
In a common visage
And we’ll kill the wicked
Let me open you and quench your fire
Anima
Hyperphagia
Come and give your heart
Not to serve
But bend the world
We'll make god of man
Til we kill the self-hood
Come rejoice
Or be destroyed
We'll make god of man, god of man
We'll make god of man, god of man
Campfire
The bodies are piling up
Come gather around at the altar of Hermes
Prepare their world for sacrifice
(At One)
Once it is destroyed we’ll see the new Garden of Eden
And Man’s new nature will be God
Go forth with the iron hold on their mind
Go forth with the iron hold on their trust
And if your empathy should keep you from decision
There is no sin in the gnos
(At one)
Look at this new world we made
Now all men will know their place
Man at the center of it all
No more dissenters
They died at the wall
Now you are saved
At one
Now we’re all saved
At one
The new season
Has missed Eden
Remnants of faith and reason
We must sacrifice the paradigm
Not to serve
But bend the world
We'll make god of man
Til we kill the self-hood
Come rejoice
Or be destroyed
We'll make god of man, god of man
We'll make god of man, god of man
Children of the Ragged Heart
Born of Steel as they fell apart
We see your pieces
Come be whole
Our New World will be remade by burning the old
Yes, the independent man
Is estranged from who he is
No distinctions, nothing owned
Is when we’ll see eternal bliss
Come along, we’ll find our home
The aftermath of nothingness
Come be saved
(At One)
Annihilate the selfhood
In order to enter the sphere
Where Philosophy Herself speaks
Destruction to all who resist our desire

I'm going to suggest this at the next SSF so you have to listen to a 10 min song. Not bad, man. Not bad at all.
Usually not the biggest prog guy, but I dig this. That riff from the last 30 seconds of the song with the pitch harmonic, is so hair metal inspired to me in the best way. Haven’t heard an old classic riff modernized like that in years . Almost Van Halen. It didn’t throw the vibe off, just made me nod my head to the fade out . Good shit mike .
I could listen to a whole album of this kind of stuff. I don't agree with a lot of your takes on music, but you are a talented musician in your own right and I think you could offer the world something special with this kind of music.
The vocals are sounding great man and the whole song kicks ass! I really liked the subtle call backs to part 1, especially at the "Go forth with the iron hold..." part.
Thanks for trusting me with the mastering Mike! ❤❤
So much character and emotion crafted into the vocal performance! You continue to inspire 🤘❤️🔥
Okay, I know what you mean by the Opeth like tempo and rhythms with the guitar stuff. You know what though, the vocals are unique and very well put together. Opeth isn't giving us our fix so I don't particularly mind if someone else steps in on occasion to supply that sort of thing.
Track sounds great man. The breakdown section and the way the instruments come back in together is slick. I like that.
Its cool man. It's not all "Opethy" 😂
Big + sign to this one!!! This is actually what I expected BWP (the track) to sound like as a whole, so thanks for filling that space! And damn, that chorus is popping up in my head more often than I thought it would...
Your vocals have improved a lot man, great track!
Thank you! Worked on those quite a lot.
Love it man! 🤘
Thank you for the continued support 🙏🙏
Groovy, goes well with deck the halls
I need some time to process it, but on first few listens, this flows VERY nicely.
Nothing felt out of place or surprising.
Much like a road-trip and you take a wrong exit. You don't know where we are going, but you know how you got there.
Very cool
Yeah this is definitely one that isn't a "first listen" lol. Not my preference, but that's just how it kinda came out. I worked very hard on the flow, so thank you 🙏
enjoyed it good job mike
Sounds dope 😎
Too Good! Too GOOOOOOD!
Pretty good!
Holy shit dude!
Breakdown in the middle is so nasty, chorus is really cool and catchy, production is great
Listening to this while I:m having a bath was probably a bad idea 😀😀 I'll come back later 😁
That Intro gives me major Blackwater park title track vibes
Just make an album under your own name man. This is insanely good, but can't identify any opeth in this (even if it on paper has their type of riffs). As much as genres can f*ck off, your vocals moves the genre a whole lot. To something different. With that said you have an amazing voice! Everything about this is like 9/10. I believe a 10/10 would come from you not aiming to sound a certain way, but rather just let the flow move though you. You very clearly have it in you. Lotsa words! Had to say something, cheers man ☀☀
I’ll be honest, nowadays I don’t really find myself watching guitar/metal related content as much. I used to back in the early days of college but nowadays the only ones I click on are either about bands that I like or technical videos. I really liked your recent video about making a better tone. Usually I like videos with deep incite into a topic by someone knowledgeable like yourself
Nice 👍🏻
Oof the riff at 4:20 is very nice. A lot of parts had me rolling the song back to hear it again. This is nice. Great flow and it really didn't feel like 9 and a half minutes. Really like the little nuances in the vocals. Makes it really interesting. Mix is great as well.
Only criticisms I have are the alarm clock at 6:33 which honestly made me jump a little. Not sure why it's there, doesn't do anything rhythmically and really pulled me out of the mood that was being set. That and I wish you let the leads loose a little more at the end of the song, that riff was just begging for a nice lead or solo to spread over it and you started to do that and then stopped. That's all I got though, great song otherwise and I'll be spinning this a few more times for sure.
1. The "alarm clock" (lol) was on purpose. That's all I'll say. It's contextual.
2. I liked the ending as is but could totally see what you're saying!
Thank you so much for both the positive and constructive feedback!
I like this more than Crusade, tbh (kind of a lot more). I also definitely hear the Opeth inspiration, but your voice sounds so different from Mikael's that once the vocals come in in this song, I kinda forget the Opeth inspiration.
You have great metal vocals man. It’s a tragedy you got replaced with that high pitched guy in crusade now
Impressive how you wrote such great melodic vocals over that wierd ass dissonant riff
Mike, hope after the holiday season you react to the Mike Portnoy Drumeo videos. Would love to watch you react to it and the insights he provides on your favorite band
Sounds more like In Mourning to me
Its like written by a.i.
And what is that mix? Jesus
I like the sound in general, but I hate the drums. They just sound like a machine. There are really good ides but the drums actually drag them down to mediocrity, imo. I'd like to know if the drums were programmed or really recorded and edited to death.
If I remember correctly, Mike doesn't play or even own drums, and on such projects he plays all the instruments by himself and doesn't invite any session musicians, so he programs the drums
Damn he’s been drinking…
i dislike this for the reason i dislike most prog songs. Many good parts, riffs and themes but they don't all belong together, isn't cohesive enough to be 1 song.
When you hate a lot of prog, what are some that you actualy like?
Mehh
Love the music but the lyrics are kinda off putting. Too on the nose perhaps.
Rhythm is off... No thanks. I'm not a robot. I like to move to my music lol
So music is only one thing to you?
Didn't expect seeing you on this channel, what's good homie?
Quantized all to hell lol cookie cutter and boring
sounds more like Dream Theater than Opeth
The first two minutes are Opeth as fuck.
@@flightgravity7483 Have never heard Opeth play riffs as boring as that. Dream Theater did though
@@tahamohammedi5898It’s pretty similar to Blackwater Park and Reverie. The same? No, but riffs like that are clearly the inspiration here.
@@tahamohammedi5898 Here's the hard-headed guy, completely unwilling to see the truth even though its literally in the chords being used.
Extremely bland and generic.
