Awesome! Really enjoyed this conversation. Mike Park and all the Asian man bands were a big part of my high school years. Now I need to check out some of the new stuff he’s been releasing
@@thepunkrockreview Definitely. Been watchin a while now (I'm the guy that bought the Insect Warfare records from you a month or two ago) and have been enjoying seeing your channel grow and keep getting better. Here lately you've really been knocking it out of the park, with the jesse michaels and mike park interviews, and the new shop talk series is a great addition. Keep up the good work.
Great interview. Mike Park has to be one of the nicest guys in the biz. Always great to see live and friendly if you catch him in the crowd or behind a merch table. His work on the ska against racism tour was legendary.
Dexter had Nitro. And then Bob Becker, while not in a band but a buddy of a band, started Fearless Records in 94. Alkaline Trio is my shit as you well know, lol! Awesome interview man! This is crazy!!! Love it!
@@thepunkrockreview Thats awesome man! Am glad Im subscribed here! You are down to earth and say how you feel, which we all appreciate! Cant wait to see what you got in store!!! Hope you have a Happy Holidays brother! Take care!
I'm in my fifties. I have seen both Scowl and Gel. Both great live and on record. Here we have a old crowd and a mixing with the youngsters. actually quit a good mix in the UK.
I've been a punk fan since my early teens and I didn't hear of Operation Ivy until a few years ago and I'm 38. I just didn't know and was very unaware about bands beyond the ones I like.
@@thepunkrockreview My favorite lately has been Rancid. The band I first loved from the punk genre is Anti-Flag. I've also really come to love NOFX in the last year or so. Starving Wolves has also become a favorite because of your coverage of them.

Thank you so much for watching this! I hope you enjoyed it and that you stick around!

I'm so glad there has been a lot of appreciation for this interview! Mike was a pleasure to speak with!
Lawrence Arms and Alkaline Trio are some of my favourite bands, I love this.
Me too, Alk3 is a top 5 all time for me
Keep going with the legendary interviews man!
I'm trying, bro, I have some cool things in the works!
Great interview!
Thank you, Shane!

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 thts actually the first time someone has said that to me
Dude mike park! Your getting some big names!!! I found out about him from alkaline trio.
Yeah man, I have had the pleasure of speaking with absolute legends this year!

Thats awesome, it legit blows my mind tho, they're one of the most important and popular bands of all time. What are your favorite punk bands?

Just got a record player for Christmas at the spry age of 45. Definitely gonna cop The Specials self titled and OP Ivy.
Heck yeah, that's awesome!
Don't forget The Bruce Lee Band!
Yes! They're also a rad band!
Right now I’m stuck in an early 80’s hardcore punk phase. You ever heard of Verbal Abuse and Wasted Youth? If so what’s your opinion?
@@WarChild-g1r Both bands are pretty good. My friend Jason plays guitar in Verbal Abuse.
@@thepunkrockreview Hell yeah!
