Great comparison, I must say the iPhone 16 held it's own. For the casual user it would serve it's purpose but wow that file size is crazy! Personally I still prefer to use an actual camera over a camera phone.
thank you for sharing the comparisons. i find both comparable for "casual" applications, as in most instances.the incremental image quality gain from a FF cam is quite marginal for most content consumer. and then it boils down to usage ... are you going to lug along the FF cam wherever you go? if you travel, do you or your subject feel comfortable using a "pro rig" right into them, or a modest looking handphone that takes decent pics/vids suffices. if anyone's starting out on getting more creative with photos and vids, begin with the handphone cams and have fun learning composition and some rules of photography, then progress to post processing using editors (many android and iphones can shoot RAW format). that's when you can really make a good decision if making a jump to a mirrorless ff cam is what you want. if you skip steps and jump straight into a ff cam, you will likely be disappointed because for the money, you are not going to get a lot more than what a phone cam can already do (especially if you do not know what you need from a ff cam that differentiates itself from a phone cam).
Could anyone suggest a good camera for beginners. I’m 17 and working but I’m looking for something on the cheaper side. I have a Sony digital camera but I want to upgrade to one I can properly shoot on, any advice is much appreciated!!
The Canon m50 mark II is what everybody here usually starts with (including Angela, check out her older vids). You can usually get the m50 plus a 18-150mm lens for a "cheap" price, which should be a good beginner setup for you to learn the ins and outs of photography. After that go full blown out on a Canon R camera and something like a 28-70mm f2.0 mmm yeahhhhh
Zero answered the question how I would have lol If you’re trying to stick Sony people usually suggest the A6100, the canon m50 ii is a lil bit cheaper to get tho
Very nice video. This comparison show Us what is the difference between more refference camera and smartphone cam. iPhone is far very yellow, and overbright. Thank U.
Can you spot the errors that all-nighter Angela made while editing this the night before it went live?
The iPhone 16 Pro held its own in many of the tests. Thanks for sharing.
Great comparison - nothing beats the Canon R5C!
Well maybe a cinema camera from canon but that’s a whole different beast all together 😅
Lolll
