McCoy bought the Brush pottery if memory serves. I don't think both names ever appeared on the same piece. Then again Brush pieces often aren't marked at all.
That plate at 9:55 was from 1898 Knights Templar Wildlife Series made for the Pittsburg Commandery 27th Triennial. The year 1898 is hidden in the design right above the word seventh. The back says Knowles Taylor Knowles East Liverpool Ohio, U.S.A. There were seven different plates. This one has kiwis on it. Knowles Taylor Knowles produced pottery, yellow ware, ironstone, semi vitreous dinnerware and translucent Lotus Ware. They operated from 1854 to 1931. Individual plates like this one are listed online for around $25 to $40. A set of 5 was $139. I could not find any solds. But there is some value there.
I grew up there and two streets of tourist shops were packed with souvenirs. Very surprised every good will in the upper Midwest isn’t full of lock related trinkets 😊
Those Chinese shelf sitters with the chicken and bunny I think are very collectible. And worth good dollars. The animals represent the year. Such as year of the rabbit and year of the rooster etc. loved the bulls are they heavy enough for book ends? I just loved the duck feet stand. I would have used it for a plant stand in a heart beat. You dug up some treasures and had to work for it. It reminds me of your beginning days were you were always digging. That was fun thanks for the trip
I first start off with saying how much I love how you pick up things and have your story and talk about it you are so positive even if you're not picking it up, the topic I have today is when you pick up cream and sugars another items with lids that are taped do you take the tape off and make sure you don't have major chipping inside like the teapot also? Have a wonderful night!
that contemporary piece with the claw feet, doesn't really need the dome lid, I see so many potential multi functional multi purpose uses for it sitting right there in your cart.
Your patience is a true asset while sourcing. The cat with the "butt dysfunction" was a fun description. The random selection of background music was a hoot! The video caused bonus smiles and laughter during the hunt.
01:47 The juice/reamer Jocelyn put back looks like the one I'm still using. The clear glass ones work like a charm, but don't resell for much unless it's to someone who cooks.
The wooden plate with the angel is from Bad Nauheim , a city in Germany near Frankfurt. Its where Elvis lived when he was in the army and where he met Priscilla:-)
That little covered dish that you said you didn’t recognize the mark was Red Wing Pottery. The stamp is often faded like that. Thank you for another fun video!
White kitten 0:53 As a child, I had a similar one (Hobbyist, same mold, different paint on eyes & nose) in the 1960s, which I treasured. In the 80s, I think my young SON may have broken it and hidden the evidence - it disappeared! So ,for many years, I searched eBay, trying to find a replacement. In the 2000s, I finally did. Not exactly the same, but close enough! ❤
Hi Jocelyn. Thanks for another trip down memory lane with vintage items. / Sea World abuses and imprisons Orcas and other marine life, I leaned from watching the documentary BLACK FISH". Unfortunately, the "parks" still exist around the world.
I was at both of these locations today and was very disappointed to have found nothing! And I drove up from Annapolis, Md. just to check them out. I wish I saw your video before my big Pennsylvania trek!
I live in york. Sometimes I find things at that those teo goodwills and sometimes nothing. And yes the smaller one seems to have more finds. The Finders keepers is no longer there. They turned it into another thrift store. Life Path. Put their prices are so so high.
I love the cat even with the butt issues ! HA ! I find neat stuff in the back of the shelf all the time. I figure folks hide them to come back when they are half off.
10:13 there was a ruffled dish. ?? Disneyland? I had those when I was little. Several different ones. I'm always looking for them and they seem to be so expensive in the antique stores. . . 🤷🏻♂️
Ok so I enjoy your show. You are an absolute giggle box and I need you to box up some of your happiness and send it to me. I’m happy but you take it to another level. lol 😅
Best guess: This isn't a sitcom where everyone plays a part. These are real people with real lives, and they intersect with one another when they intersect.
@@GuyWithTheDogsI think it was a reasonable question from Moekristie. They always seemed to have their lives intersecting as you put it. No harm in asking.
@GuyWithTheDogs Thanks for that. I realize that many things are, and I realize the intention of J's videos. Personally, the little cast feet are adorable, and seeing them matched with a nice bowl made them more appealing.
I have bought and sold antiques for over 45 years and it just amazes me that these bloggers today look for glass and porcelain pieces that are not scuffed up or has chips. Then when they decide on "perfect" pieces, they throw them into their shopping carts and continue piling up glass and porcelain on top of other glass and porcelain pieces. Jeez, I wonder how glass and porcelain pieces get scratches and chips????

@@cathycasuccio-ec4sw Sorry, she frequents antique stores often and shows the same shopping techniques. And at Goodwill, she could first go to bedding and get a sheet or a towel and line the shopping cart and learn to cushion between layers. It's not that difficult.
The brown drip soup bowl/planter was marked BRUSH that’s early McCoy. It was Brush McCoy in the beginning.
McCoy bought the Brush pottery if memory serves. I don't think both names ever appeared on the same piece. Then again Brush pieces often aren't marked at all.
I noticed this also.
i came to say the same thing !
I havent watch you for quite a long time but you used to buy a lot and go to more expensive stores!

Cool finds today
That large hook you picked up looks like a vintage hay bale hook
I agree the duck feet stand would have made a great plant stand !!!
Glad you posted this. Was worried when you cancelled yesterday and today’s sales and didn’t post a video. We feel like you are a friend.
I’m still here.
I love the duck feet thing and the colorful pumpkin 🎃 Great shopping. ❤
Yes ever since my mom died I been collecting Hummel I will buy what you find!
Wow, Nicholas Mosse pottery in Goodwill. Great find. Also that Talavera pumpkin!!
Thank you. 😊
Nicholas Mosse pottery….NO WAY!!! Love it! YES!! Worth cleaning!! I had to go to Ireland to the factory to get one small ‘seconds” mug for $20.
I love the plate with the duck feet!!! Oh no you put it back.
I remember the coiled dog. I think they were used to put mail in.
That's Sault Sainte Marie plate is of the Soo Locks, in northeastern end of Michigan's upper peninsula.
I grew up there and two streets of tourist shops were packed with souvenirs. Very surprised every good will in the upper Midwest isn’t full of lock related trinkets 😊
It's nice to have multiple GW so close to each other. 😊 Nice find with the Nicholas Moss pottery

Same as mine, too❤
( Frame 6:33 ) Those Snow Balls look to be made with that " Special Yellow Snow " ! The kind you get from yards with Dogs in them. lol :~)
My thought, too!
I love the kitschy lamb planter :)
Jocelyn you could have used the feet tray for a plant stand 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️❤️❤️

The bulls are pretty great too.
Great find of the Mosse canister!🎉
Been watching you for years. Just love your videos❤
Love the little pumpkin
I liked the Franciscan Bowl
The primitive mold , I think it is or was a jello mold that you would flip it over to show that pattern before you served it.
To add whipped cream or similar
Hi Jocelyn. Thanks for another trip down memory lane with vintage items. / Sea World abuses and imprisons Orcas and other marine life, I leaned from watching the documentary BLACK FISH". Unfortunately, the "parks" still exist around the world.
I've sold those two Chinese figures for more than $100.

At 18:30 that was Red Wing Pottery dinnerware
Hi, I live in Canada and there are no goodwill stores here very hard to find vintage stuff
me too, Western Canada, it's slim to none, Value Village is soooo overpriced.
Love the multi color pumpkin
I'd have kept the footed plater...The one thing you put back is the only thing I'd have kept...lol
The wall plaques.... Impossible to find oval pictures or wall art! I def would've grabbed them
The Inn mug was Daneen Pottery. You probably already knew that….😉
There were manufacturers defects in the glaze on the right side of the logo. My husband picked it up today and I wouldn't let him take it!

18:29 Red Wing Pottery (hard to see on that piece as it is so faded) 😊😊😊
Handle on tea pot looked broken.
My sister lived in sue saint marie blockes from the locks .
OMG that pumpkin looks like the little girl in the video that said she got her lipick from homie depot😂
Thanks
Are you sure that was a ginger jar? I have seen urns with similar shape. I am just say that could have been an urn.
The weird figurine - 2nd goodwill, was of jo jo the dogfaced boy.
Love your videos
That Desert Rose bowl is worth $50.
The pumpkin looked like the clown on the album cover from the band Acid Bath.
Do you think the snack cup would have a saucer?
I don’t think so.
I would have used the duck feet thing as a plant stand since you couldn’t find the glass to go over it!
That sounds neat!
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
Like the bulls
How come we never see Dagney shopping with you

Big money if they were! Thrifting twins picked some up in a recent video
I looked online and found a bowl with those feet, seagull feet.
Yours is a knockoff.
That can be said of pretty much everything. There is nothing new under the sun.

I love vintage green glass. I don’t care if it glows. Why do people care?
Because it means it's older and people collect uranium glass.
