The heavy "not cow bell" is a horse tether weight. You'd talk it along with you in your buggy, and tie your well trained horse to it if a hitching place was not available. I don't know if anyone made copies, so it might be pretty old.
As I was leaving, another lady actually bought it as a doorstop. I found out later in the day from another reseller who was there at the same time what it was. I had no idea! But it’s really cool. I don’t think I’d want to ship it. 😂
I was so surprised you didn’t get the owl bookends. Super vintage. I found my first crystalline pottery piece today. Spotted it on the bottom on my second pass through. Thanks for that it’s really gorgeous in shades of dusty pink mauve and cream 💗💗💗
Just saying, I gasped! In one of the plastic bins there was an Avon Halloween luminary which was sold in the late '90's., the box looked familiar because I own one. When this lamps light spins on a pin inside a plastic film cylinder with a printed witch riding a broomstick illuminates behind a orange plastic dome. It's quite collectable.
That white inlay plate could possibly have been a souvenir from Taj Mahal The Taj is covered with inlaid stones to create floral designs and the skills handed down through families So the families still work in workshops maintaining the Taj but they also create souvenirs using similar designs to sell to tourists
Jocelyn, I learned from all the glass guru old timers on Facebook that we have all been misidentifying “Bristol” glass. It’s not English at all and is actually Bohemian/Czech and has nothing to do with being made in Bristol or England.
Here’s more info: “Bristol” Bristol is a term that U.S. collectors invented decades & decades ago. The term has no attribution value whatsoever since when these were made all glassworks in Bristol were long gone. Originally the term "Bristol" referred to the port they were shipped/imported from however (of course) that accurate representation was lost & replaced with the inaccurate "Bristol" being used at to where they were manufactured. There is no such thing as Bristol glass - that’s an American dealer’s made up marketing term. This is Bohemian enameled glass, circa 1870. There is, however, older glass; Bristol Green and Bristol Blue that predates these by 50 years or more. But those are entirely different animals. Czech import glass from around the turn of the 19th, into the 20th century, not English Bristol glass, which would be a hundred years older and much better quality. Generically this is often referred to as Bristol glass only because it's been listed that way and sellers have copied each other so much over the years, to the point it only looks like factual information when it is not.
I think that person is speaking specifically about a piece they were looking at. Not all blue glass was made in Bristol but they did make it, and 'Bristol blue glass' is very much a thing.
The gold mirror lipstick holder I had as a teenager in about 71 to 73, my mother bought it at Sears I think, she worked there in the jewelry. I may be wrong about Sears, but most everything we got came from there
Hi, when I saw that baggie full of miniatures, I was thinking how cute they were. My two windowsills in my kitchen above the sink are filled with miniatures.
The flat plate at 8:31 is made in India. It is the same marble inlay technique that was used to build the Taj Mahal. This piece was probably purchased there at the gift shop or airport in India.
Jocelyn, when you put the white victorian vase back (8 minutes and 22 seconds) there's a figure of a child on the right looks to be lying down maybe. This might have some age to it, be German and hand painted. If this Goodwill is not too far away, it might be worth a look. Xx
Ok Jocelyn and everyone I'm just gonna put it out there......I'm claiming this set of Flamingos please and Thank you👏🏼🦩🦩 I was a day late on the last shakers so it's only proper (and I live in Florida😂) that I buy these!!! I am obsessed with shakers this year. My mother sent a package for my 51st bday this month and she got me set of uranium shakers and starfish shakers AND octopus ones as well. 😂😊 Wish we could post pics right??
@@cindysemblante4411 I knew someone that was disabled that went through one of the training programs on how to handle job interviews and fill out applications. He never worked in a GW but benefited from their training.
The Lenox vases look like they may have been centre pieces for a wedding or some other function. What else would you do with a box full of all the same vases other than donate them?
Jocelyn, that's not to hang on the wall. It's actually an incense stick holder. 😊 the little hole is where you put the incense.
😂
Yes.
That’s what I thought also
The Lenox flower vases collection would be used for wedding or other occasions
Haven't seen your employees lately, your husband and kids, enjoyed them all. Wish we could see more of them.
They probably did a wedding with a flower arrangement in each vase on the tables. It explains all of the Lenox.
That’s what I was saying to myself, too! Lol

@@CrazyLampLady you have a booth!
Awww... I want the Star Wars Think Geek glasses 😿 lol. All of those marble bookends were fantastic 😻
The sugar bowl in Spode The Hunt is a great find!😊
But a sad theme!
Those first bookends are FAB!
Yes, the baggies never disappoint 😂😂😂😂😂 such small treasures to be found. ❤❤❤❤
The long leaf shaped stoneware piece wasn’t for hanging on the wall. It was an incense holder. The hole was for the incense stick.😉🕉️
Exactly. I came here to tell her the same. I burned alot in the 90's, lol.
Lenox identical rose vases maybe for a wedding or anniversary party reception is the thought i got.
I really like all the vintage marble bookends! Very cool!

I was thinking the same. My husband brought me back a plate with similar inlay designs when he visited the Taj Mahal.
Oh, all those Lennox vases would be perfect for a wedding event!
I’m sure that was what it was for. Not someone’s collection.
@@gingerale1861 Yes, and it would be a great opportunity here for someone with a tight budget to score some really pretty table decorations.
I thought the same🎉
@gingerale1861 my daughter rented her bouquets and table decorations.

Maybe a wedding or anniversary party with the lennox?
Ahhh, grab the bell!! The bell was awesome!!!😍
I also like all the small horse themed items you picked up. You gave me a great idea for a gift for my sister!
Hi, when I saw that baggie full of miniatures, I was thinking how cute they were. My two windowsills in my kitchen above the sink are filled with miniatures.
I want that krackel glass bottle for my Halloween apothecary!
I love your humor! The "onion pumpkin hybrid"
Happy weekend child! Love the close ups on the shelves!

Cocineros - Chef! Cute for Halloween.
the limoges dish in baggie is an olive dish. I have one.
The Think Geek glasses are planetary glasses. I want them! 🌎
So many cute finds!
I won the Villeroy & Boch on your thumbnail! I love the botanicals. Thank you!
The Spode covered sugar bowl is the exact same shape and style of the Spoke Christmas Tree holiday pattern. I have it and recognized it right away.
The flat plate at 8:31 is made in India. It is the same marble inlay technique that was used to build the Taj Mahal. This piece was probably purchased there at the gift shop or airport in India.
The LENOX vases were prob from a wedding
The clear glass piece looks like a golf driver!
What more like home than fresh bread baking in the oven!❤ Nothin says lovin like somethin from the oven!😊
I want those little flamingos!!!
My mom has the marble horse bookends. Talk about nostalgia!❤
Florist used those Lenox vases, possibly were table centerpieces at an event
Those marble bookends would great for making a multi level display!!!

That Spode dish/box was nice!!
It means THE CHEF 😊
My daughter gave me that Lenox vase for my birthday. I have it on my dresser but I only have one...lol!
I’m pretty sure I saw a Precious Moments vase near all of those Lennox vases. I was telling you, but you didn’t hear me! 😂😂😂

Definitely scored some amazing finds❤
YOu got a cart with a flat tire! Always enjoy your videos!
Love looking in the bags. 😊 Great finds.
That speckled glaze thing you picked up at the 11:12 mark, I think is an incense stick burner. You insert the stick into the hole.
That makes much more sense. 😅
A beaker... the onion pumpkin hybrid,, its a punion
On the clear crackle glass, George the Nomad just talked about a piece on his show (August 5)
I guess the bunch Lenox vases were used at an event.
I think that thing with the whole was a sick type incense burner!
Great shopping,Jocelyn!👍🏼🥰
El cocinero means the cook
The prices today are ooh la la! Like the good old days.
Maryland for the win!
Right in the beginning 1:19 I see a dog with wings, so cute, angel dog 😊
I will pick up Snowbabies, if they have color, I had the Mickey Mouse one, sold for $25, I paid $2.

The Spode cover dish sells for 80 plus
It wasn’t Spode. Spode has a Santa on top of the tree. That had an angel topper.
@@mamaG4 I think OP is talking about the sugar bowl with the hunting scene which was Spode.
@@rikkemeek1506 oh yes. Got it. She looked at the Christmas tree one last. That was on my mind.
Spode made more things than just the holiday Santa China
El cocinero is The Cook
I believe that was a incense plate Jocelyn. Pretty sure and I liked it too😊
You can tell I’ve never burned incense. 😂
Love your videos
The plain oval dish for hanging was actually a tray for stick incense burning
Gurl get your nails done! ❤😂
Literal translation of El Cocinero is the cook, but means The Chef (using a male pronoun)
Jocelyn you are adorable ❤
White Owl Bookends!!! Go Back :). around 2:31 you can see!
Thanks

The little pewter golfers go to a tick tak toe board…
The oblong, speckled tray is for burning incense in. You put this stick in the hole and the ashes drop in the tray.
I have sold several of those stone inlay things they are made in Pakistan I believe. I've had sets of coasters.
I’m in Illinois
I wish our goodwill was half as good as all yours

I bet they used the Lenox bud vases for a wedding decor
I have that Precious Moments from my Grandaughter birth
Hi ! I like your nails💅
I saw some cherished Teddies figurines in the video, just a quick question, are they not collectible?
the clear glass looked like a flask!
