Good review and motivates you to play the game, but I have a question. Why is the errata issue not mentioned? I think it's something quite important to comment :(
I'm not sure why the errata issue isn't mentioned, but the company has worked really hard with multiple translations and ease of play with the booklets for each episode. With so much content, there is bound to be an issue here or there that they provide solutions for online, which I find helpful.
Kimberly, great Final Thoughts! As the early English Editor for the rules, I know that 60 pages of material is difficult to absorb and keep straight. I wish that Flyos would have retained me for the books, but they went a different way, hiring non-native English writers, which is how you end up with the overwrought prose.
@@disposable157 I know. I'm exceptionally happy with the rules as I received 100+ pages in a Word document and to see how they look now...amazing! The narrative, however, could have used a native English speaker to clean-up the writing.

For me the game didn't live up to the promise. I like lots of what it does right but there's so much that falls flat. Bland writing and repetitive, easy to win missions, poor combat, poor choices and impact on the story, very poor proofreading with an extensive errata and more minor gripes. I think if this game gets a 2.0 with an extensive revamp it can be gold because they nailed the art, the components, flavor and feel of VTM.
I love that an English teacher reviewed a game with so much writing. Overuse of adverbs is a really, really (ha!) huge pet peeve of mine.

missions are not that easy to win if you ad more roleplaying elements to it
