The ladies selling banana fritters r so happy to see u, Steve n Ivana. Their laughter is contagious. I cant help laughing too. The tricycle looks unsafe to ride on. Looks like anytime can dismantle by itself. Ice cream in a burger looks yummy 🤤 . Great video shared today. Tq Ken.

@@KenAbroad BGC for Christmas, New Years in Makati between the 10tth and 15th floor, or even better Mistral Rooftop Bar at Ruffles Hotel, you'll be blown away. Then first week of January is the biggest street party fiesta in the PI called Sinulog in Cebu City.
Ken,thanks for taking us along on this street food trail, certainly an eye openner for me with the various delicacies.😋Nice to reunite with your two other buddies in crime.🤣The tricycle is quite an interesting invention, have never seen one like this before.😮Quite a ride for all of you and stay safe.💕🇲🇾
Nice vlog again Ken! 😊 some Filipinos preferred to eat with their hands its most common on provinces and at home and also the boodle fight we use our hands. But when eating at restaurants or outside we mostly use spoon and fork.
Welcome to the Philippines and enjoy👍
thank you 🙏
I feel like I’m watching Mr. Bean hahaha so cute!!! New subscriber here

35:39 the Philippine ice cream or sorbetes is different because instead of using the usual milk we use coconut milk and the ice cream have tidbits of fruits or cheese
Welcome to the Philippines sir ❤️🇵🇭
Thank you 😊
The innovative thinking when it comes to daily life stuff like this motorized tricicle is what I love the most. As a German I love it when people know how to help themselves.
I had Kwek-kwek before but that one looked way better than the one I tried! Need to get to that area. Good street food video!
It was very delicious 👍
hahaa that was a fun experience riding a pedaled Lamburghinni with your friends ken..we dont have that kind of tricycle here in Cebu, its more fun in d Phils 😅,enjoy your stay💖
Next look for turon with chess and jack fruit.
The trike ride was hilarous.😂
Hello I enjoy watching your programs.
The English you speak is very easy for me as a Japanese
I’m getting happy to see you say hello to
everyone and buy some snacks for children.
I’m looking forward to it again. Thank you.
Happy to hear that, thanks for watching 😊
woo steve wear the cloth he bought in shanghai
Power on Ken 👍💕👍👍👍👍✌️🤗💪🙏From California 🎄🌲🎁🎁
Yeah your right the tricicke id self made ..it is actually a Pedi cab ( bike with sidecar ,) and they put motor ( motor of bost ....motif for fishing boat
Yummy
09:42 - tatlong saging = three bananas ..... 1 = isa // 2 = dalawa // 3 = tatlo // 4 = apad // 5 = lima // 6 = anim // 7 = pito // 8 = walo // 9 = siyam // 10 = sampo. Um die Zahlen mit einem Subjekt (wie Bananen) zu verknüpfen, kommt hinter der Zahl dann in dem Fall noch ein ng, was aus tatlo = tatlong macht (ist halt Grammatik)
I remember when Steve first time eating ice cream sandwich during the lockdown. Now he really loving it.😄
Ken seems you enjoyed the kuliglig ride.... Next time you go to Fort Santiago.
seems the poetry
Happy Wedding Anniversary Mr Steve and Mrs Ivana from Jet Lag Warrior. Dear Mr Ken Abroad and Mr Steve and Mrs Ivana from Jet Lag Warrior I wish all of you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2024. I hope you all guys come back to Malaysia again.
thank you!
Divisoria is super super loud this month because the christmas and new year are approaching hahahaha. instead of selling fireworks, they sell trumpet for the safety of everyone :)
Cheers is" tagay" in tagalog
@5:50 "I think this is the busiest street market i've been to, and i'm from Jakarta...." Exactly
Hello ken gandang gabi ❤❤❤
You too 😊
That Tricycle which is called Kuliglig the engine of it is from a small motor boat engine👍
Aww, so nice to see the Jetlag warriors again!!
Always good to meet up💪
😂😂😂😂 the banana girls
Which is your latest vlog .this vlog or the one with Jonathan ( travel escapes )
Street food is life 😊🫰
Divisoria is packed to the gills and chaotic, specially this holiday season. It could be overwhelming if you're a foreigner. It's quite an adventure, I love it. 👍
It's definitely a fun adventure 😊
@@KenAbroad Yep, soak it all in! Merry Christmas!
Just some insight for you regarding Filipinos: there are some meals eaten with a spoon and fork, but many meals are, in fact, eaten with your hands. Many provincial meals are rice+ whatever and are hand scooped. Thank you, Ken, for this cool video. Your friends seem amazingly nice and fun!
Please go Around University Belt in Manila on School days...Plenty of Carinderias and Street food sellers...😊
😂😅 love that home made cab
That was so fun!
I thought Jetlag warriors is in Shanghai, China right now 😮
Dear brother, coming visit from Bangladesh vlog vedio.... Its very nice beautiful country...
Hi Ken ❤
Hi👋
I think the sauce on the Burger was Ketchup & Mayo.
41:24 most Filipinos from rural areas eat with their hands, even my wife does it in Germany, while we are alone in our house.
Hi Ken, it's time to enjoy the colorful and bright Christmas decorations: BGC HIGH STREET, AYALA TRIANGLE (Light Show at Night), SHANGRI-LA PLAZA ORTIGAS, GREENBELT MAKATI, SM MALL OF ASIA, EASTWOOD CITY, ROCKWELL POWER PLANT MALL, OKADA MANILA, VENICE GRAND CANAL MALL, MERALCO LIWANAG PARK IN ORTIGAS and don't miss the special BGC fireworks shows every Friday at 7:30 p.m. Merry christmas !!! 🔔🎄🔔
The basketball jersey😂
We actually do eat with our hands. Its called kamayan(ka-mai-yan) kamay meaning hand. If go to the province or poorer parts they eat with their hands. But if you go to a Kamayan style restaurant or participate in a boodle fight(google it) they eat with their hands.
Ken, for the bananacue seller, they are laughing bec its difficult for them to express in English. All of the bananacue is delicious even if they have diff sizes.
to all people , Manila has ultramodern places to eat now like in BGC , makati greenbelt, greenhills,etc..street foods like here are in old places of manila mostly low income people but food is delicious
8:27 I'm sure bananas in their minds represent something else when you ask about taste based on their size.😆🤣
They eat with hands as well for your information taste better
Hi! The banana is actually a plantain variety, a cooking banana locally called "saba". The banana cue and turon (wrapped in spring roll wrapper) is coated with brown sugar. Tricycle is the term called for the tuktuk type motorbike. The "kuliglig" or "habal habal" is the same but just a bit in configuration but its a term used in the rural areas. 😅❤😅❤😅 Enjoy your stay here! Filipino locals will really make you feel welcome!
That's manong sauce brader.... Mix sugar, water, corn starch, soy sauce,,,....
Everyone calls 'Rizal Park' Luneta.
Filipinos eat with spoon and fork and its one of our Spanish heritage.
The Filipinos I know eat with their hands.
Ken, have you been to Tagaytay in Cavite? Ask Magic AI for places to visit there. Enjoy & have fun😊
Will have a look, thanks 😊
19:36 that trike or kuliglig is illegal
They’re laughing because banana among with other “foods” is actually a “softer” term for penis here in PH. Then you’re asking which is more “masarap” between the three sizes (small, medium, large) which for an imaginative mind.. I think you’ll get the context 🤣
I get it 🤣
Welcome to the Philippines! Take care of your belongings/ camera and beware of pickpocket. Enjoy your stay.❤
Thank you 😊
well when people eat or buy food from the street in the philippines are mostly meddle class or lower class [in the philippines there is a category people which some countries dont have this] but street food in PH are clean.mostly rich people in the PH they dont eat street food ,but some rich people eat street food bcoz its very cheap compare to the restaurants
Where is Ken from?
I miss you bro
Gosh, I just know Ivana and Steve are your friends, and I watched their videos in Shanghai , they are visiting China now , I am curious about is that your recommendation?
I told them good things about shanghai 😁
Not many people. Not overwhelming at all.
NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE,, WELCOM TO PHIL
Welcome to the channel 🙏
Yeah sir ken i don't like kwek-kwek 😂😂😂 but i can take fish ball and balut 😂
The bananaque seller ran out of English that's why they were laughing... We have an idiom for that we get NOSEBLEEDS from speaking too much English hahahahahaha
They do use their hands to eat food. It's quite common in the Philippines. You need to go to a barbecue palace there. And then you will see lots of people eating with their hands. Even in the grill houses they eat without ans. So do your research and you will find out I am correct.
Explore also Quezon City 😅.
Never been there, what's cool there?
@@KenAbroad Quezon also have their own BGC called Eastwood City
@@KenAbroad Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife, La Mesa Ecopark, Quezon City Hall, Quezon City Memorial Circle, Araneta City Cubao, Eastwood City, SM North Edsa, Trinoma, University of the Philippines - Diliman Campus, Sto. Domingo Church, St. Peter Parish: Shrine of Leaders, you can also visit public markets such as Muñoz Market, Balintawak Market, Commonwealth Market, Litex Market, Novaliches Bayan Market, etc.
Quezon City's nickname is "City of Stars" because it is the home of biggest TV networks such ABS-CBN and GMA.
Filipino also eat with their hands especially in boodle fight ...do you remember when your in siargao ?
There also a Filipino restauray called Kamagan ..it meant eat with your hands
Yeah you're right,I remember boodle fights
Hi Ivana
