Love that when Lisa won the P5K, her first reaction was to give free food to her customers.
it is called sharing your blessings tradition of the Filipinos that takes roots on the word bayanihan meaning helping each other out without expecting anything in return
@@maharlika6838 and then there's utang na loob....lol
She's Weng. =P
@@apinezstats2237 boss music intensifies*
That's called paying it forward by helping others too.
I'm proud of Lisa as a Filipino she is very generous and shared her winning to her costumer, that act of kindness will bring her on top of success more blessings will come to Lisa
as a Filipino, seeing foreigners try or eat Filipino food warms my heart, as they appreciate some of it, some might not be but good job trying to eat the food;>
Mannnnn I remember watching your videos a couple years ago. This new rebranding really captures your audience. Great job Max!!
I love how ate Sioami shouted siomai for everyone instead of just keeping the money to herself. ☺️
that's what Filipinos are brother lets go! Thank you for the crazy content Simply Max!
it's a prank 😂
@@wendellzzz I can't understand you
@@wendellzzzthats a fact they want to be relevant so badly
Taho 50 pesos that size? I dont think so. 😂 you were scammed
i believe he knows that
Nope. I believe if you actually go around, ganun na yung presyuhan niya due to inflation hehe especially in my area! I’m from Manila lol mostly nang nagtitinda, ganun na kamahal.
Hayop taho nyan 10 pesos lang yan porket dayuhan lukohin nyo
Nah that should be 20-30 PHP but 50 ? Wtf ! Wala siya sa Baguio and di Yan strawberry taho
@@belladiorvillacencio9855 I believe kahit tamaan ng inflation hndi magiging ganyan kamahal ang taho with that size 😂. nascam lng tlaga sya ng bongga
A million views on this video!!!
WOW way to go Max 💯💯💯
Hahaha that was fun. Thanks Max and definitely pressing that subscribe button now 😊
That's so awesome! This is why I love Street food in general. You interact with the people who owns the business and you can see the passion from them. They're the to support their family in a very honest and pure way and not all about the money.
You can see that when the lady got the 5,000 PHP she even paid for the people who were actually her customers. Sharing right away the money that she got! That's real love right there!
Love you, my Max! ❤
@@haelanderson7106 ‘lbeg h p
Thanks much for your being nice and generous to our fellow Filipinos. She was so happy and grateful for having the money in the box that she offered her waiting customers free food. Kudos for your gentle and kind heart. You are a good friend.
nice editing work! and the camera angles are also good..good job you got another subscriber
I luv ate Weng even shes not rich she is wealthy with kindness especially when she shared the 5K blessing you gave her Maxxxx with her costumers or buyers...thats the Filipino spirit of love and kindness in sharing even though we have less or nothing in life at all...🙏🙏🙏😔😔😔❤️❤️❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭👍👌👏👏👏
3:53 Even the lady was shocked that it was 50 pesos.
I live here in the Philippines and sad to say he got scammed because it's only 10 pesos
@@the-gunner6686 Yaah. OKay lang if 15 or 20 ang presyo but 50? no way oy.
grabi non hindi pa nahiya 50 pesos saamin 10 pesos up to 15 pesos lang yung taho e
Taho samin noon lima maliit na cup sampu malaki, ngayon sampu maliit bente malaki, pero singkwenta? Ulol HAHAHAHAH
Back then for a small cup of taho it costed 5 peso and for the large one 10 peso, now its cost 10 for the small 20 for the large, but 50 for that cup? Hell no.
@@the-gunner6686 lol you've been stuck in the past. that was 10 years ago the 5 peso cup before was 10-15 pesos now
Ate Lisa sharing giving away free siomai after you rewarded her is too awesome, what a nice lady. Great content by the way thumbs up to you sir.
As he should. This guy straight up said the siomai in cebu is better than the one he was eating in front of them. A bit disrespectful to me. Lots of Filipinos in the Philippines can understand English, fyi. I’ll pass on this UA-camr. His humor isn’t my thing, a bit too much.
@@mikep7219tfff??? How buthurt are u?? 😂

loved the editing and content, subscribed!
It's been a while since I found a fun and entertaining video.
Definitely worth a sub.
Max, this is such a well-made, FUN video! Your reactions, personality, and your genuineness when you interact with locals are perfect for this kind of video. More of this! 🥂
Thank you so much!!
Love all his videos, but agree, this was brilliant. Defo more of this. He shines. @@simplymax24
50 pesos taho in a 10 pesos cup nice nice very Pilipino na mapanamantala 😂
Kaya nga..... 🙄😆
That's not for 10pesos cup. are you even in Philippines. that's atleast 20-30pesos
Wala ng 10 pesos na taho ngayon. 30 pesos na yan samin.
kaya nga may masabi lang si ante haha napahiya tuloy

Excellent video Max! This gives me BEFRS vibe. Maybe it's the quality of the video. Really well put together!
My new favourite food vlogger, bro got a sense of humour which is so much different to majority of other vloggers, who are quite serious whereas max is more humorous, kudos mate, got yourself a new subscriber
This was so fun to watch! Best bit: you've been calling the siomai lady Lisa the whole time and her name was Weng all along. "I'm Weng 🙂". That cracked me up! 😂 New subscriber here. Looking forward to more Filipino food content. 😊

Thank you for this video…really enjoyed watching
man first time watching your video and i'm already hooked. Great job max and pd
Aww, this was awesome, man (and hilarious lol). Great to see you do different styles of videos on each of your channels. This was so fun, well-edited, and just a nice, feel-good video that still highlights what you do best: talking about the food and interacting with the locals. Great stuff, brother!
I used to walk around Quiapo (the side streets you went to) and all the way to CM Recto, then the length of Sta Cruz and Carriedo back to Quiapo. This was late 90s to early 00s. I loved seeing all the stuff for sale, like bootleg jeans and cheap 2nd-hand books. Then I'd finish off with a massive food trip. There were a lot of choices, from food stalls to amazing small restaurants! I would even walk all the way to Binondo and eat at the best Chinese authentic restos. I miss it! 😫😫😫 Someday, I'll come home and roam those streets again. Lol. Enjoy your stay in Manila.
I really love your vlog , it kinda witty and have fun to watch , as a filipino, you really nailed the heart of each and every one of us, keep vlogging sir

Simply Max is the alter ego of Max McFarlin. You are cooler in your filipino videos than your Vietnam series. I always ask myself is this the same MAX?
commending your videographer on this one. you freely vlog on this one. but of course seeing your face so close with the screen in vietnam series is a bonus for me. haha!
You actually captured a lot and summarizes the Manila streetfood and gave a high review. that’s impressive!
This vlog is funny 🤣 Your Vlog is not boring max I love the energy

Here in bicol we used to add cubed cucumber and singkamas in kwek kwek. That's super yummy!
11:31 I LOL’d so hard! Thanks for the laughs Max and Kuya 😂
"if there's no sauce, your filipino food is nothing"
I agree with that
Wow 5k on street foods. Hello hepatitis, hello mouth sores and tonsilitis.
LOL. Sometimes, even just rice and sauce is enough.
What an amazing way and sight to end the video. Best wishes for ate Lisa!
Awesome show dude🎉
keep doing this king of content here in the PH, I just followed your page just now!! if do have time go to PASAY Libertad try the PARES here... at the side of PASAY Mall near BPI bank.. and you should go to "Intramuros" as well near Manila City Hall.. try all the street foods there
Watched 14 minutes of the video only to realize it's a different channel!😂 awesome! Im from MONTREAL but the video's from India are the best! Keep it up 👍🇮🇳 much love to you and Chris.🏅
India stream foods are so messy
I love that last few minutes of ending. 😀
Great energy in this video! Ill be in Manila for new years eve
Nilupak is made of cassava, a type of root crop. And the purple part is made of ube, a purple yam. Nilupak literally means "mashed", it is usually mashed in a big mortar and pestle and shaped into a disc, I believe they put condensed milk, and bucayo (coconut cooked in caramelized brown sugar) aside from the margarine. 😊
😂😂
That taho only cost 20 pesos. Don't let them take advantage of you.
Manong, sana'y maiahon mo sa hirap ang pamilya mo sa halagang 30 pesos.
50 pesos nga daw eh... kahihiyan ka ng Pinoy Manong...
This is a good one. 😂 Had fun watching it
I love the interaction with locals road to 100k subs sir
