  • In the wake of Election 2024, is the crimson tsunami a wake-up call for American politics? Join us as we explore the fascinating shifts in voter dynamics and the colorful interplay of urban and rural perspectives. We kick things off with a cheeky nod to pop culture icons like Beyoncé, whose glamorous lives seem worlds away from everyday struggles. Dive into our candid recount of election night jitters, the divide between city slickers and country folks, and how these elections are redefining core American values.
Our conversation takes a dramatic turn as we tackle what some are calling a political 'Common Sense Wave.' This episode uncovers the intriguing rise of a movement drawing in diverse groups like independents, black men, and Hispanics, all seeking solutions for pressing issues like inflation and border security. We don’t shy away from critiquing the Democratic Party's pitfalls, especially in losing touch with mainstream concerns over extreme left ideologies. This discussion is a call for unity that transcends party loyalty, urging a return to shared, pragmatic values.
We also touch on how political divisions seep into personal relationships, complicating dialogues and straining friendships. The social changes of recent years have polarized conversations, stretching back to the Obama era and aggravated by the COVID-19 pandemic. But amidst the tensions, a sense of hope peeks through-a belief in the enduring spirit of democracy and the importance of civic engagement. Whether it's through laughter or introspection, this episode serves as a reminder of our core commitment to unity, respect, and the democratic process.

I'm pretty confident that alot of successful adults are just more capable at channeling stress and anxiety. Also, can we get a Rich Redmond guest spot on the show?!

I used to work with special needs kids. The oldest is now 23, and several of them loved listening to Jason Aldean and other country artists.

Congratulations to all of you, this podcast was great. The way you addressed all your topics was amazing and your thoughts were too.I listened and it was broke up so I had to go back where I left off and it felt like I never left, your opinions hit home at times and that was really great. I agree, God is 1 in the plan and it does revolve to what, where, why, who and how everyone is involved in it…..Thank you again for an amazing podcast and Congratulations on the name of your new studio!! ❤

Another super episode...when you guys said you go could on forever talking about things, my immediate thought was "Well, I could go on forever listening!"...I look so forward to these each week and they are so enjoyable. The banter is great, the way you all come across with your points is excellent and it just makes the entire hour fly by! Thought evoking, interesting and humorous, all at the same time. Thanks guys for the great work and congrats again on another sponsor, well deserved!

Interesting about Tully calling himself "super wound." Tully always seems so calm, relaxed, and analytic on this podcast. He's also super funny! Oh and congrats on Whiskey Drink! Love the song and the video that came out on Friday was excellent! The song is the number one played song on Y2K on SiriusXM over the last month

That stress of the end of your career doesn't end just for you guys we all have it. At my age I have a great deal of stress about how I will thrive in the future, in retirement and how I take care of myself. It's a concern for everyone and it shouldn't be, so Tully know you are not alone in that worry, we all have it.💖💖💖💖 Kurt that considered"bad habit" might be called for medicinal purposes. LOL

Common sense thankfully Although it may not yet be common again it appears to me the majority are once again thinking for themselves and calling out BullShit when they hear it.... and for that I am thankful 🤠

Great Podcast but I have to take issue with one thing that Tully said... "good riddance to never seeing Tim Walz again"... that one hurt really bad! Why you ask?!?!? Because I live in Minnesota and we have that idiot for a governor.

Congrats on your new studio name. First, yes, Trump won, and I stayed up all night watching the election. I am registered independent because I didn't want to be considered left or right. I went to 3 Trump Rallys 🇺🇸 I have a couple of democrat friends, and I don't understand their beliefs. Obviously, they have enough money to not see how rough most of us live. I wasn't surprised Trump got the popular vote. Kamala doesn't have enough brain to run this country. Most democrats just vote democrat because they are registered as a democrat. Most people don't do any research to see who is the best candidate.
Tully try to find some peace to relax. I'm with you with stress... thanks to prescriptions and therapists. They both help. Great job everyone!
