@@AustinH7 Flexy doesn't mean stable or traction ...I proved that the last couple trips out I have plenty of travel but not as much as someone who lets their coils unload with triangulated cheap white body shocks I walked and ran up ledges that just threw the sloppy flex set ups right off the wall . A. certain amount of flex is useful after that it doesn't do anything and with lockers you're better off lifting a tire than having a sloppy unloading suspension .
Nice! There may have been a better line down, it's tough to tell, but damn that driver must have ice water in his veins! Talk about one calm SOB! I'd need to change my shorts after that. Nice rig too!
I'm not an expert in off roading, but wouldn't it have been better to approach the steep decline directly instead of at an angle? I'm pretty sure he still would have had clearance from the rocks despite the approach angle. Idk. Terrain can be deceiving from cameras, so I might be wrong.
Those are the situations where you have to let go of the brake a bit to give you counter rotation and relieve the pivoting. The problem is sometimes you break something since you roll forward too fast. But it looks like he allowed it to creep forward enough to set the rear back down.
4runner are the best allaround vehice. offroading, everyday comute, towing (v8) except campers and big stuff and u can get it an a really comfortable ride (limited)
Great video my man! I'm always happy to see another 4Runner owner putting their vehicle through the paces. I've only had one oh shit pucker factor experience with mine, but that was way more extreme lol. I'll subscribe and check out your videos, I hope you do the same, one 4Runner owner to another.
Thanks for the response. I will follow you too. I was actually the camera man on that video. The Owner of a Toyota Store was driving that's his 4 runner.
Very cool, I want to get into video editing to expand the channel. I just got a GoPro Hero4 but haven't had a chance to fool with it yet. More videos to come on my end soon.
I dont understand what's so good about driving slow with a bunch of crap around some rocks. its all about ''look what my truck can do'' meanwhile the drivers are out of shape
I don't think I could have rode that out without a little more throttle at that angle. I was pressing the gas pedal as I was watching the video. Either he froze up and messed his pants or he had a lot of confidence in his spotter. After seeing some of the hand gestures and smiling, I'll conclude both were lucky. Cool video!
I would never let that guy spot me again.
But it’s because of his shorts. 😂
Lmfao
spotter caused that.
I like when the spotter takes a step towards the 4runner in case it tips
LOL yea like he would do something if it came over!
Danny Tran His suspension was to FLEXY that's why he got tippy ...We usually see that silly over flexy suspension on Jeeps the TOY guy know better .
What was the spotter thinking? I can push him back??
@@yerwrng 4 year old comment but you couldn’t be more wrong. A flexy suspension helps keep all 4 tires on the ground

lol spotter basically put his passenger side front tire in the deepest hole he could find
Exactly
Spotter was horrible...
Holy carp! If I'd been the driver, I would have needed to change my shorts after that!
it was a scary moment for a second!
I just got my first 4Runner 2016. Car of my dreams
Meanwhile, the Jeep in the background is photo bombing with a perfect pose.
Would of been nice to see that Jeep come down the same path
Wow people actually using what these cars were made for. What a surprise.
Jason Heimann I meant in terms of clearance and suspension, not the whole vehicle.
nope, lifted, surprise!
Dustin Huynh I'm pretty sure that's just the factory TRD Pro. lift only 1.5 inches
Jason Heimann I'm not sure that's true.
this is exactly what a trd pro was made for lmao
FJ Cruiser is my dream car!
Why does that matter?
That's it. I'm getting a 4runner
Wow that's incredible with that 4Runner!
take it easy, dont scare the jeeps away
jeeps handle this always no problem
A properly set up Jeep would not even lift off a wheel .
A properly setup 4runner would too
Jeep woulda went over with that spotter.....wtff
They call that obstacle “Flopper” for a reason. It’s pretty tough!
Nice! There may have been a better line down, it's tough to tell, but damn that driver must have ice water in his veins! Talk about one calm SOB! I'd need to change my shorts after that.
Nice rig too!
it was definitely a little scary.
I would never let ol'Jimmy spot me again.
Nice work! Flopped my Heep on this obstacle a few years back.
Just bout a 2018, 3" coil overs, 275 BFG ko2 can't wait to get it on
Who makes that front bumper on the TRD Pro? I love it!
the guy move like he is gone catch the suv when the suv looked like it was about to flip
2.00min
Holy pucker factor Batman! 😲

"Wheeler Lake" FTFY.
If thr 4runner were a Transformer it would have told the spotter nice try... Optimus Prime voice!
So..... Where is the video of the jeep taking the same line?
Wow, that was dang close.
You're one lucky SOB! I'm thinking without that steel front bumper, he woulda gone over!
we joke about the fridge in back held the 4 runner down.
that spotter was like meh not my car
Good grief, I thought it was going over for sure. Whew!!
it felt like it for a second
What kind of bumper is that on the 4runner?
awesome angles 4Runner!
thank you
Pucker factor= 10 out of 10. Those insects appear to be a real PITA
the mosquitoes were horrible that day
That's awesome!!👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
thank you
Were you in crawl mode or did you control acceleration? Any lockers on?
anyone know the name of the storage on the roof???
0:47 most confusing spotting directions I've ever seen ;)

Beast!
Woah! Sketchy!
amazing
Did yo u mod your suspension for that winch/aluminum bumper combo?
the whole bottom of that 4 runner has been modded and cut away.
4runner are the best allaround vehice. offroading, everyday comute, towing (v8) except campers and big stuff and u can get it an a really comfortable ride (limited)
very true
FJs do that too.
Nice save by the driver.
Grate (4Runner) and good job driver.
is there a way to disable the roll sensor on these?
RSCA is the button to turn it off.
FWfilms where is that button located. I have a TRD Pro and have not seen such button..
Bent frame?
The jeep at 1:39 in the background looks so sick with the mountain there
there were 3 of us in a jeep, fj and the 4 runner and we had 30 jeeps in front of us and 20 behind us...
Talk about PUCKER FACTOR lol
All terrain tires too? Nice....
I though for sure is was going over!
Very well filmed. I can't wait to get myself my first 4runner. I'm thinking of going for the V8 limited.
markeldamgaard lot of money, but worth it
thank you i did the filming and my buddy was the driver
Я думал, что в свои 60лет видел все, или почти все, что вытворяют внедорожники, но как я заблуждался!!!
Those orange traction mats on you Runner what brand name. THERE ARE GOOD ONES AND NOT SO GOOD ONES
Spotter should have had him turn sooner.
All is well as long as you don't spill your beverage.....or did you?
no beverages were spilled!
at 0:56 driver needs new pampers :D
if he was not as smooth it would've flipped, the spotter was telling him to roll forward and he was not.
Well there's a tent on top. I'm guessing he brought a spare pair of underwear.
thats right

Dont hate just appreciate
Oh shit i poop 💩
Good tail wind and it would gave been all over.
so.. the jeep didn't make it?
the jeeps all made it too. There were 50 + jeeps that trail that morning.
That was bad spotting.
SPOTTER SUCKS as all have mentioned below. Make sure to remind him lol
BFG KO 2 brother
