it's a brilliant car. i have the estate and use it for towing my race car to tracks apart from everyday use. it has huge trunk space and the front seats are reclinable so you can sleep in case of need. fairly quick, not even bad in turns on good tires, drove it on track even. clearly it cannot be perfect; it's huge and consumes a lot of gasoline but well. it's superb
Good review, I'm a fan of Skoda vehicles designs for many years, and certain clever extra features like having an umbrella in the front doors, I own a Kia Stinger GT, and your correct it hasn't as much back passenger leg room. Look forward to your next car review.
You buy a skoda superb/octavia not for how it comes out of the shop, you buy it for the mods and tune you can do to it. this platform is just insane ! I got a MK3 superb 2.0TSI, did a tune on it, new brambo break kit and in and out pipes. got from 190 BHP to 295 BHP, drives like a dream and the fuel economy is excellent.
Surprised on one hand that this is almost exactly the same as the 2016 I had, (the exceptions being full lcd cluster and larger centre screen). On the other hand, not surprised because it was a great car. One of the few large 'sedans' still around that comfortably fits 3 child seats in the back.
One correction, the 2.0 TSi in the facelift is a modernized unit, engine code DNFE and it actually has 400Nm due to new Continental turbocharger and some other little tweaks. 5:39
very good review that gets the essence of the car. i got one but in different trim level why makes it little bit softer than sport line and, indeed, it is a big ( and i mean big) comfortable, powerful cruiser. It is nothing like a sport car, although it can go very fast. the main quality is the relax in driving experiencing. the only downside is that it drinks lots of dinosaurs juice, whatever driving stile you have.
We have a mercedes c class and a superb. The c class is not in the same range as the superb. The superb is far better as a family car. The merc has way too few practical space. If i had to ditch one car it would be the merc
Beautiful review, great vlog, nice work! In the past, in 2000 - 2005, for 65.000$ you can buy an BMW M3 maybe, ( I am not sure about this ) in the present you can buy a SKODA Superb. I just the design of this latest SKODA Superb! Elegant design! Beautiful. To expensive for me.
Thank you!! Very fair, a used M3 could be the go for the price if that’s what you’re looking for instead for the money. But you’ll have outdated tech by comparison. Although you’ll get a much faster car obviously.
Price and Technologywise of course the Superb is playing with the A4s, BMW 3 series and C-Class but the size and practicabilitywise it is on a way other class. Its 4,87m length and hatchback like opening back plus all the space in the inside is rivaling against the big boys 5 series, E-Class and A6. It might not be as luxurious and posh like those, but it does what they do way cheaper and almost just as good.
If they sold it in America I would buy it. I have the Passat 2017 that is based off the superb and I would do anything to get an all wheel drive v6 version
It has DSG7 rather than DSG6 you mentioned. Also it hurt to hear that you compare it to BMW 3-series or Audi A4 or Merc C-class. Why would you? Those are a whole segment below Superb.
Superb is a D class car (BMW 3 series, Audi A4 and MB C class). Granted, it is almost as big on the outside as E class cars (like A6 and 5 series) and F class inside (bigger than short A8). Still, it is most definitely a D class car.
*Pinn this* Okay soo now i have your eye n ears the skoda sportline aka the 4x4 280hp spec comes with the same engine as the golf r or seat cupra 290 Which means it has the EA888 2.0Lone of the best engines made by vw group only by doing a simple tune you can expect from 360 to 410hp !!!! On just a tune aka stage 1 !! This engine can take up to 730 hp
The leather seats pictured are a paid option above the stock Sportline seats - they're far more comfortable, and come with cooling as well as heating, and a massage function.
I bought my sportline here in England mainly because of its looks and amazing spiraling seats....but its amazing in so many ways. The start stop button is in the perfect place Mr.reviewer.!!! That's where the key start always was.
I want to make my superb car all wheel drive in india. My car is front wheel drive, how I can get all wheel drive part from your country. Please message me.
When Skoda was taken over by VAG, they offered great value for money but over the years they've caught on and have priced them up. That and the chip shortage prices are not as attractive anymore.
Skoda: Pay extra with new car with high salaries to support and update low salaries of India only. And mobile phones could do use indicator sound to find the place of the phone with extra pay Internet and high salaries with the new buy of the laptop. Stephaine Macmahon.
This is shit box... I have it, and it's the worst thing I ever have... I'm trying to sell it now and buy something proper. Audi is light years ahead of that...
Do not fall with looking at to this car. This is a great looking car and economic spaceful but but reliability is appealing. Terrible, DPF EGR problems. Sensors playing up. Shock observers . Will cost you fortune
@@braydonwen3852 Stay away - get Toyota or any other car. New software they put in the car is faulty. Cost you thousands. Main dealer doesn't care once you are out of warranty.
Sounds like you got a lemon. No issues on our end with the 2015 prefacelift model, petrol 220bhp 2.0l engine, had some sensor glitches in the cold season but since they are fine. Shock absorbers holding up fine, no issues after so many years. Heard stories about the new MIB 3 causing issues though.

“Superb” review! As a car enthusiast, I’m very impressed with the review of this young man!
Thanks!

Cheers and thanks for watching! It's a great car, but would like to see an angrier RS model to truely rival the Stinger in performance.
Wow! Again High quality content, I'm amazed at your rolling quick fire knowledge of every vehicle. Brilliant
Greatly appreciated!! Thank you :)

Probably not worth investing lots into this since it doesn’t sell in huge numbers like their SUVs (at least in Australia).
Best car I ever driven
It’s same car just facelifted. Like you might know this year they started to sell brand new one.
One correction, the 2.0 TSi in the facelift is a modernized unit, engine code DNFE and it actually has 400Nm due to new Continental turbocharger and some other little tweaks. 5:39
I wish someone compared this to the 3rd generation volvos like the v70, v60 and xc60.
Isn't Laurin&Klement the most expensive? Sportline is a step below it.

Is this 3rd generation?
Those alloy wheels are ❤️❤️❤️
I like them too
Yes, they’re gorgeous. I have them on mine in England. They’re called - ‘Supernova” anthracite alloy wheels. Stunning!
Wish they sell more of these.
Whats the fuel consumption L/km for this beast?
My guy didn't even talk about the best thing about this car....the umbrellas!

Un gran coche sin duda alguna una pregunta ❓ en el acabado sport line se pueden poner esos asientos delanteros
When A4 is on the same league with superb ?
it is not... A4 is better
6 speed dsg?? Are you sure??
1000% that’s what we get in Australian Superbs

The colour is Quartz Grey (LF7Y).

No that's wrong. This car is specced with the 6-speed DSG. For the price, it compares.
@@ProductReviewCars how can it come with dsg6? Facelifts are all with 7 i believe? At least those 200bhp and up
No, Australian spec still receives the 6speed.

How is the reliability and maintenance cost compared to VW counterpart?
About the same
They are generally more reliable in most reports.
Probably the reason they dont buy it alot because its over $59,000 in Australia and pepole want to look for a car thats under $60,000
Škoda pronunciation is Shkoda. "Sh" as shut, sharp, shape ... etc. Š = sh.
This skoda looks a lil bit like Audi a7 with a skoda cover
I dont get why car manufacturers doesn’t have usb in front and back as standard nowhere I 2023
