Been playing for 700 days. And since day 1 chisgule has been the biggest help ever. Almost All the guides from less than 6 months ago still are basically right, and all his power upgrade ones are still relevant, like dang.
I have been playing for 450 days. I am a pretty involved player, spend small amounts of money. In 450 days I am not even halfway on any of the legendary gold key commanders. At this rate it would take over three years to expertise my gold key commanders.
I’ve spent nearly 2 years in mostly F2p kingdoms as a med. to high spender. Now there’s people that spent a ton less than me and have vip 17 while I still sit on vip16. And now being in an imperium and seeing how many speed ups and AP potions I get by others spending or being super active doing forts I really regret it.
This last noob mistake is something I can relate, I started trashing a kingdom since they kicked us out of the KD and we had to move, and then I got zeroed by them in KvK
Chis with the A+ content as usual. The only thing I’d tend to disagree with is the universals on gold keys commanders. For those that don’t spend a ludicrous amount of money to have a constant flow of gold keys it is definitely worth using universals on Charles Martel. He remains relevant for a long long time he will protect your city and with the right pairings from start to even late game (2yrs) he remains viable for open field ark and structural defence (where whales aren’t available) without a serious amount invested buying packs that give gold keys you’ll spend around 700-1000 days playing before you max most gold key commanders.
Biggest mistake I did is not understand and didn't get enough passport pages. I thought I only needed 1. When I figured out I needed 8. It was too late because the king didn't allow any alliance leaders to put it in the alliance shop. Now I am stuck in a Korean kingdom that only cares about Korean players. It took me almost 2 years in this game. I don't want to start over. Rok need to fix this problem.
The problem is, that as a f2p or even low spender it will take time like forever to develop the gold key commanders for example Charles to a point where I can actually use them. Until this point the commanders are not even worth it anymore to use them at all, because stronger commanders are going to appear.. I mean who is going to use Charles instead of Alexander, once season of conquest began?
I noticed once you have a successful kvk then many want to flock and join which provides drama and useless high powered farmers at times. Big noob mistake is accepting and not reevaluate them off the bat. Also it matches you to a way higher opponents and if those high powered useless people don't perform it hurts..then burn happens
My biggest mistake was 1 or 2 years ago when my finger slipped and upgraded something ( I don't remember what) using 8K gems instead of rss , I will never forget tjat coz I was not able to get the rewards from the wheel
I made the mistake of buying tomes of knowledge from the VIP shop. MASSIVE MISTAKE. edit: I am now using my gems to boost my VIP and using Chisgule's gem farming guide to farm over 1k gems a day as f2p. Check that guide out if you haven't already
This game is soooo good and fun;!! So good I surprised myself inside my pants playing rok because I didn't have time to walk to bathroom. I'm addicted to rok and now my friends are too!!! 😁😁😁
Cause I'm fairly certain more and more people leave this game every week, and only whales/spendies and new players still stick around. I left after 2.5 years of playing because the game is trash. If you don't spend ~$1,000 a month, you are nothing but a farmer.
My number 1 mistake is to invest in Khan, even in Kvk2, number 2 is not taking Rc to 5511 before KvK1. Im 1 and a half year in and my gold keys comm incl CM and Cao Cao is no where to be maxed. May be Lilith intentionally give more of their sculps to people who already maxed them.
I think before saying don't put Universals on Gold Key Commanders we should put a disclaimer saying that, "we can put Universals on them but only to a useable level. E.g. 5511 CM, 5511 Mehmed. In the early game, those are way better than Epics. If you solely wait using gold keys, you'll never get to use them. I never regret it.
One thing Ysg is a must commander to use. But here's the thing. I want to be an infantry player, but I also want Ysg. So here's my plan. Is it a good idea, or a total blunder, to spin the ysg's wheel, migrating in a newer account to get an easier time on Charles Martel's mighty gov AND getting more time to farm gems for Alexander's wheel/more spins of Ysg?
The charles martel is for me being an infantry player, I want to use alongside my expertised Sun-tzu, to replace Bjorn Ragnarsson. ANYWAY I DID A TERRIBLE MISTAKE. On expedition i'm using Sun-tzu and Aethelfled together as my strongest army full infantry to get the benefit of the talent hold the line. BUT if I do that, Aethelfled won't buff the attack (or damage dealt i have to check) of my army because it don't contain 3 types of troops, BUT if I do this Hold the line won't activate
@Massimo Hack I mean it gives 20% health, defense and march speed for infantry. The shield can't be countered (i believe) and desperate elegy is TREMENDOUS for a garrison build. It has also +30% counter damage, it's good when swarmed, it seems fine. Also i'm obtaining it through mighty gov (if I can pull it off) so by "free"
1:45 it's not better to use little bit of universals to get a commander to 5-5-1-1 immediately gaining value from it instead of waiting for a gold key commander to go up like 5-5-5-3 only by gold keys and then expertise it?
honestly, 5511 is a fair investment for gold key commanders early just to have 5 marches and replace epics. it will take you years to max it only from keys anyway. might work for charles martel, not sure for other key commanders
While you won't get so crazy value, a 5-5-1-1 El cid is a good starting point, after all, all of its skills are useful, also 5-5-5-1 Mehmed isn't bad. If you have the luck to have the first skill maxed by gold keys only, you can max second skill, then slowly expertise with gold keys
Doesn't matter, because a whale is already at 5,5,5,5 level 60 with T5. Should just dump everything into your gatherers because that's all you are is a farmer.. Why you even building combat troops?
Chisgule , is moctezuma + caocao better than minamoto + caocao , I don't have minamoto , so will moctezuma work ? I don't want to end up stuck going after moctezuma..... No one in my kingdom knows whether he is good for lvl 15 forts during kvk or is it worth while to go with him at all....
1. Legendary Key Commander😂😂😂 I finished my Frederick finally after 970 Days even with spending GH. 2. Diplomacy sucks in KvK. I don't even know why I played my last KvK. Kill the smaller ppl makes absolutely no fun. A special Map 1 vs. 1 Kingdom or higher Rewards.

Pre-crystal tech I did just fine. Standard t4 vs t5 ratio in most fights, don't have enough t5 to field 5 marches, but I did ok. I play smart. But now... can't even get good results 1v1 because of crystal tech. Which the fact that it has to be rebuilt every single time is where it crushes kingdoms bot built around spending a fortune every week. Why am I even arguing or debating It's not gonna change back and I don't care to change anyone's opinion who has no concern for kingdoms rather than just the whales
@@lvletal You're absolutely right. Even those who spent for T5 who don't spend anymore for tech have no chance. I got so sick of fighting T5 with my T4 and getting 1000:1 kill ratio. The last KVK I did I literally fought for 28 seconds and took 250,000+ casualties. I left KVK at 22 days in and never went back. This game sucks.. I regret spending 2.5 years of my free time on it..
I just can't find an active alliance in a united Kingdom, can only find one or the other. Now I'm 60 million power and don't even want to bother trying to migrate again
I always try to bring up the territory idea to my kingdom because they don’t have anything plan for what they are going to do after kvk2 yet. I’ve also wasted universal heads on Martel and used Richard heads for stars. As a f2p I’m lost at what I’m doing after I get Richard to 5511 should I work on ysg(5300) or alex(5511)?
Definitely work on YSG first. Getting him expertised makes him so much better than not (that circular AOE is amazing) and you can use him as a secondary to ANY fighting commander and he is effective. Barb chaining, garrison, open field, rally (in ark or with Nebu or Ramses) he does it all.
@@c412b Yeah, end game starts when Lost Temple is taken and a King is crowned in Kingdom. Anyone not in the Kings circle is just a clown farmer subjected to their rules. You think you download and play your own game, but in reality your just a pawn for the king and his spendies...

I almost made this mistakes but luckily Reddit saved me I posted about Mehmed and they told me to use the GH and Stars on YSG and Richard
Here need to mention that golden stars are as important as golden sculptures, so don’t spend stars on commanders that you will always use as secondary

But beginning, before Guan and Ramses are available, that is great
It’s a great starting combo, not a top tier destination combo. Eventually you will want to split them - eg into guan Alex and ram ysg
