I’m so glad you’ve made this video… not because I need it but because, sometimes (and this is not critizing your content in any shape or form) it feels like you -and other content creators- are playing a different game from the rest of us. I am a 66+M low spender player and I’ve been following you for over 500d, when I started playing RoK, but your game experience (being a high spender in an Imperium kingdom) is so different from the majority of the player base of this game that it sometimes feel like a total different game from the one we are playing. So seeing that you’ve made a vid for the majority of the players feels very nice. Keep up the good content and I hope you still make vids like this one a little more frequently.
I remember my first ever attempt of crafting a legendary equipment. It was a Hope Cloak. I was lucky enough to trigger the crit. It was truly a magical moment.
Tip for all f2p players: Always spend some gems on egg event event, you get free blueprint fragments from opening 10 eggs. Slowly u get whole blueprint
You mention the barbarian stats in passing, but as a F2P or low spender, you're probably fighting barbarians as much or more as other players. Good equipment means longer barbarian runs without returning to city and burning AP. So perhaps a lower equipment that includes 5% barbarian has more value than something higher that has slightly higher stats? It'd be nice to see that included in the balance. But this is still a fantastic and much-awaited video.
I was one of those who had a Cloud racers (non-proc), and a Iset's Sufference (proc). and I crafted a Navars control and a Mountain Crusher to shore up the stats in slot to 8% attack (boot), and 8% health (glove), a net upgrade of 4% health, and a "push" on net attack
nice video. i suggest you also make a ranking of all the equipment (including legendaries) based on stats, and based on being refined, unrefined and iconic. we can really be guided this way.

Please, please remember - you only need gear on the primary commander. Placing equipment on every commander you could potentially use is a waste of materials and gold.
Amazing video I guess my question as a moderate spender that’s just starting back out in the game. When should gear become a larger focus? Should I prioritize any VIP, weekly, gear bundles? What’s the most efficient/most worth while way to gather materials or things to buy?

I just thought about it this morning, should a player dismantle their canyon gear set(legendary/epic) to maximize their open field march or leave them be? Example I plan to use 2 archer, 1 infantry, 1 leadership infantry, 1 cav march while I have 4 infantry set for canyon.

pretty simple. if you'r a f2p or low spender, just unlock ysg and try to invest in vip as early as possible. Vip14 should be your second big target, after city hall25.

You must drop the equipment before you can switch. This is why the last slot is free. Put the equipment for Commander 1 on Slot 1 then click on a empty slot to drop all down. Put the same equipment on slot 1 for Commander 2. finish. If you want to switch now klick on a empty slot to drop all down, then select Commander 1 and select the saved Slot. They equipment must always be down before you can switch.

I got it now, thanks dude. You have to "switch" to an empty loadout before assigning gear to another commander. Damn, I should've asked this question here months ago lol.
I'm not sure how I feel about making the upgrade from scarlet hounds to frost treads.... I think you're almost better off riding those babies all the way until you get a set boot. I mean, yeah, you can get your materials back, and that's cool.... but health (at least in soc) is the way to go. I'm not entirely sure how the different stats match each other, but 5.5 health, or 7.5 defense (talented)? Mehhhh..... hard call, hard call 🤣🤣🤣🤣 in any case, just don't craft shios return 🤣🤣🤣🤣

the green infantry blade. if expertise give 8% health. its same as blue shield not expertise but cost 1/4 of the material price
with introduction of iconic its makes legendary gear have abit more value for f2p aswell

Dig event is better for prints, more to choose from. Egg event better for mats, but also gives prints

You can combo peacekeeper/support murder ball that lives forever. Not kidding you can kill lvl 55 barbs no kvk tech ink barb dmg and extra healing.

I don’t know if you or anyone mentioned it already but the windswept set also give a 4% march speed to all troops alongside that 2% attack bonus.
I got special talent on my first refine. It was Hope cloak.

I wouldn’t think of it as ‘best equipment by commander’ and more as ‘best equipment by troop type (infantry, cavalry, or archer).

I dismantled all my ATTACK equipment and switch to health and defense, god what a huge difference especially in open field.

*All other equipment is legendary talented on that set(except accessories).

Only dismantling legendaries costs you half your materials
