I think that would be a more cost efficient and effective way to use them. I'm also thinking this would be a great upgrade to the hovering missile system the Megalodon has.
@@brandonatherton The big missiles were already very cost inefficient. I can't see these huge ones being used as anything but bombs (and mines. And depth charges). ESPECIALLY if they have the magnet range I think they have.

No the colors are just for looks. And the cram shell trail doesnt have an effect, the cram shell affects the color.

You know a youtuber is doing something right when you get excited for every video in a series
Some remarks:
- can you set the AP vs Damage for each laser barrel seperately? If so, maybe you could make it so that only 1 laser has really high AP - to get through armor blocks. The other ones could focus more on raw damage then
- as the main components can be seperated from the turret, that realy makes the turrets a lot more disposeable overall. Meaning less effort to armor those is needed
- a continuos beam weapon tends to benefit from some inprecision. The issue is that the precision really punches through the enemy rather quickly, with a lot of damage landing in the ocean behind the target. If it was a bit less precise, the damage would be slightly more spread before a punch-through happens.
- hydrofoils and ramming are inherently at odds. Your prow is all about having the maximum contact surface with the enemy. But right now it aims above the water line, so the enemy will be pushed under the ship quickly. If you put the Hydrofoils way closer tot he front, their angular shape might force ships into the prow. Kinda scraping them "out of the ocean and into the maw"

Lathrix, lasers now do piercing damage. If they blow up a block, they damage the block behind them with the remaining damage. Just like AP rounds.

If you keep the early pontoon design, you could add an under water bottom turret near the stern with the supercavitating shells that can fire when you climb over ships and doubles as an anti-submarine cannon

If you want a scary 2 axis turret design, try something similar to an observatory, a pivoting structure supporting the cannon by two pivots holding each side.

i think if you make the pontoons from the ship concave and connect to the bridge rams that would allow for maximum ripping and tearing while protecting your hull i think as well as looking cool!
