Regarding the missiles, could you make a huge one that would be stored horizontally(maybe between the lines of large ones) but then fired at like a 45-90° angle? It's been a while since I played the game, so I'm not sure if you'd use a turret block or whatever, but I definitely want this craft to carry one doomsday ICBM before the series is all over! :D

I believe if it is a rail launcher you can set the launch angle. I’d have to check if that’s actually the case and whether there even is a huge missile rail launcher, but I’m pretty sure you can do that.
Would actually love to see it be lifted from horizontal to vertical right before firing, like a mobile missle launcher :D

@@Turtlefire1 oh in that case, totally you can set that up with spinblocks. The only possible issue would be collisions (you wouldn’t want that ICBM exploding on the sub) and lag from too many objects.
If you change the paint scheme from blue to red it would fit with the orc signs because red equals faster

While the ordinance is respectable, I'm being informed if this is an Orky 'Dakka Zub' as those markings would suggest, it should be purple, (as opposed to the current blue) or else it won't be stealthy enough in order to be effective.

eh maybe a blend of purple and blue as often the blue is of cunnning, oh and make that a camo pattern of the colors with white because he has killed more than captured, so his ship would be under the white blue and purple color influence.

For next season I’d really like to see you import a Coffin Nail, and then upgrade it throughout the season into a Lathryxian abomination with sub-objects circling around you.
Either that or I'd like to watch Lathrix see how far he can get with refitting a Marauder.
The catch is that he's not allowed to change the basic shape or size of it, but can change out the armour, can change/add weaponry and do minor changes to make it fit a bit better as long as he's still stuck with that size and shape.

I always love seeing large, slow firing advanced cannons, that look like a proper battleship turret. Maybe a ridiculous 8m, 500mm double or triple barrel turret? Maybe with all segments being warhead, and only being propelled by rail charge? Basically just lobbing shell-shaped bombs at the enemy :D

Why not add all of your creations into your spawnable enemies so you can fight against them in the future? Or battle royal it?
I was disappointed to see the particle cannon go, and I'm not sure what other weapon could cause that much damage that fast. I'd like to see it return as a primary weapon, but in the end, the choice is yours.

A good concept for the new main weapon, in my opinion, would be a massive railgun with the highest possible caliber, highest possible power output, able to fire underwater of course, and - just as a big ol middle finger to logic... Graviton rams. That or go for impact, either way deleting enemy vehicles from existence in some manner.
I wonder what fantastic interceptors one could make with LUA.
Anyway, I like more missiles, no matter their usage.
Could you have an ACB that lights up or changes the colour of a lamp when enemy is in range? That would save some trouble looking around for enemies.
As for the main gun, any ridiculously oversized advanced cannon is a good one.
The ACB/Light change is what I do in my sub to help me realize there is an enemy nearby. It helps a lot. I leave all lights white when no enemies and swap to red when an enemy is detected. I don't know whose video I saw it on, but yeah it is awesome.

Wait... did Lath learn of Anti-Torp-Torps from one of my comments or reddit thread tutorials? Lathrix, just make sure to use the special Weapon Controller that multiplies Damage of anti-cram/missile weapons (the one the game tells you about for anti-missile advanced cannons), it works with anti-missiles too, multipliying the damage of the anti-missile missiles. that way you can take down even the biggest torps/missiles.
I'm pretty sure that this has been your longest running vehicle that you have continuously upgraded that has stuck to the original idea. Unlike your past adventure mode flying ship sub.

If you were to stand the sub on its nose it kinda looks like the tower of some Tolkien villain. Also I say, as far as which weapons to build next, become the hammer of god. A really cranky god that hasn't had their morning caffeine and woke up to a flat tire.
Those icon you have on your sub are Orkish not Chaos, But it could work, you just need to remeber the Orks Colour rules:
Red means speed, which is why Blood Angels have tanks with the Fast rule. (Speed Freakz)
Green being their skin color, it's automatically the best.
Blue is the color of luck to an Ork, which often translate to avoiding injuries or finding better loot. (Deff Skullz)
Black is considered tough, hard to kill, capable of shrugging extreme damage. (Goffs)
Purple has become sort of a joke/meme amongst the Ork community, since nobody has ever seen a purple Ork.
Yellow is the color of their teef, which is the Ork currency, more currency = better weapons = more flash, also believed that yellow rockets make the biggest explosions. (Bad Moons)
White is death, the color of bones.

An interesting idea for the future would be a melee sub with a drone escort that specializes in harpooning enemies and dragging them into the deep and into the waiting sub's maw
You should totally bring Adventure mode ships into a future campaign as your own godly's or something along those lines, it'd feel like a neat callback

The last episode should be a giant war. Lots of your finished design fighting each other. If you achieve perfection they should be continously be countering each other haha

Go to a hundred after nailing the final form. Could you do a video with the other Adventure series crafts side by side. They all look awesome. Never mind Blackbeard, it's Lathrix I don't want to meet on the sea (or in the air for just to cover that too). You could also consider using community polls for such questions if you have other matters to attend to and want specific answers.
Love the From the Depths videos, and the adventure seasons are the best of the bunch. Also kind of like the relaxed atmosphere you have on this channel where it's okay to make mistakes as long as you learn and move forward. On that note, I think I have been following you for 4-5 years maybe or more? Can't remember, and good job getting here!

I have seen all weapon possibilities except a rail gun that fires 1k rounds a minute and shoots straight through 3 beams of heavy armor.
Someone said it is possible but building such a beast is beyond me SO I vote for that.

Suggestion : make a doomcram instead of a railgun since you haven't made one yet

new challenge, floating melee drill platform.
primary weapon has to be an extendable drill/ram/sawblade that deploys directly down from a floating platform, this obviously limits flying height to make it viable, and may have to be retractable to get through portals

A) A giant ICMB/Nuke huge missile
B) A stupidly large particle cannon, or particle cannon cluster (mult particle cannons all firing as one giant group out a single cluster of lenses)

Also, I obviously suggest not only a ludicrously massive spinal particle cannon, but a brace of gatling railgun turrets to rain hypervelocity death into the skies and all around as well! Would switching to the even largest ludicrous missile mounts and adding spinning ram blades for additional frontal propulsion qualify as overkill?
Just doubling or tripling your original particle cannon would be pretty epic. Just go full Yamato Cannon...

What I would do if you do end up bringing the particle cannon back I would experiment with multiple tubes so that it fires a very tight spray of beams, rather than just one.
I usually build my subs with torps and Pacs, so I'd suggest bringing back the spine mounted pac.
"How does smoke even work underwater" - Yeah Lathrix as if Lasers aint even weaker underwater already, just add smoke defense to make them even more of a joke underwater :D

My thoughts on a main weapon works for railgun or particle cannon, but I like large EMP hits. You could call it Imagine breaker.

FUCK im feeling both the high tech mad man and just your the villian but you have soem good intent making the fight a emotional pain. also im getting the EDF feeling at the same (the edf from red faction btw) oh and lathrix the time with building i have the same as in space engineers, a game with similar capacity to make madness come to life with programable blocks were code is used to make just what ever happen is lovely but i build VARY SLOWLY, as it took me maybe the entire week to make about 3 or so builds. but also im now remembering ALL the lovely old things, think back in the day when you made flat raft ships with probably more gank than now, because back than you had more recourses to work with, being crystal wood scrap metal and oil witch later on just before removal needed to be cracked in big refinery bases into fuel. god apart of me wishes to see a mod or something make that happen. im shure you will even remember thoes days.

I'm really liking the evolution of the build, and of your building style in general. You might not always be satisfied by it (and that can be a good thing because it makes you experiment and learn more every time) but I think you've made a lot of progress and your style keeps refining over the time, kudos.

My anti torpedo torpedoes were purely kinetic, with extra health. Turns out they don't die when they hit a torpedo. A single anti torpedo torpedo could take down 3-4 torpedoes. Large torpedoes were an issue tho.
...I saw the thumbnail, Lathrix, and I ALMOST let slip the heretical thought that maybe that might be too many missiles before reminding myself that well... Come on, this is you we're talking about here. "Too many missiles" just does not exist! XD
I'ld guess "smoke under water" is called "ink" and those aren't smoke dispensers but ink sacs.
No one can match lathrix for his destruction factor. Not only does he execute it well, he embraces it in his personality, and that is something I admire
Your vehicles look so good. Mine are SO terrible. Super fun though. This series dragged me back into FtD a few months ago. My flying sub got to Diff 55 and got smashed like a toy. Time to refit to a proper sub, no more flying. Thanks for the content, always fun!

Is it just me or would be it be kinda funny if, just for a laugh, after "beating" max difficulty, to just go through a bunch of green portals and absolutely decimate some lower difficulty crafts, sort of showing just how much more powerful the ship has become?
How about a mix of large missiles explosive and frag. The explosives are cool looking but large missiles with frag can do crazy internal damage and pop turrets.
