    "Is it really worth the time and trouble to fly today" is a question I sometimes ask myself. The moment my feet leave the ground I know that every moment and penny has been well spent! Great video, Tom!

    I don't know that I could have ever gotten into flying something like this at altitude but that down low stuff looked like a blast. I learned a lot watching this video - these things are way more complicated that I would have ever thought. I thought you just strap it on, get the kite flying, and then rev up the weed eater and go. I think I'd be dead before ever flying 5 feet!

    Would love a video of how you integrate an airband radio, 2m radio and gopro audio into your helmet setup

    I enjoyed this a lot...thanks for sharing. Also, at 12:50 the light is just right to make it look like you're actually green-screened onto some bad video...which is its own awesomeness.

    great review. waiting...still to demo a 20m. have flown the carve and freeride and flow RPM.. all very spicey for my level. considering this as the go to all around and getting the carve to be silly on.
    thanks
    Dave

    Awesome video, the Hadron looks like another great dudek product. See if you can get your hands on a 16 DriftAir and let us know what you think about that.

    Hi Tom, nice review, although you are reviewing the smaller version, its good to see that it still behaves on the smaller wings. If I had to have one wing ( if I went back to ppg) , it would be the H3 all day long. Trimmed out swoopy landings as well.

    • @PPGExplorer
      @PPGExplorer 3 роки тому +1

      Hey @golffoxtrot22 when you say trimmed out swoopy landings... What trim setting are you comfortable with landing at high speed? I'm newer on the H3 so wondering how far out you have gone successfully and safely on landing.

    • @GolfFoxtrot22
      @GolfFoxtrot22 3 роки тому +1

      @@PPGExplorer no more than 6, it just doesn't need anymore. Also the tips are more prone to collapse beyond that setting. It's been a while since I've read the manual. It's a fantastic xc wing.

      @@dgods94 Yeah. Been flying for a few years now. I have a separate UA-cam channel (The Flying Veteran) dedicated to Paramotors & E-wheels. It’s pretty small. I’m no good at vlogging or talking without a script so I don’t post on it very often.

    Is there a chance to rip the glider during deep spirals or other high g's maneuvers if you overload the wing by 10-15 kg? Thanks in advance!

    Hey Tom, Another good one! Thx. what Airband radio? - didn't see a link in the description like you have for everything else. :) The rexon I have sucks. interference is so bad on mine I can only hear or transmit at idle. Haven't found a way to shield it. :(

    • @Tommyflies
      @Tommyflies  3 роки тому +1

      It’s actually a Rexon 530 w/Bluetooth. I’ve only have interference issues one time. That’s curious.

    Thanks for this Tom. I subscribed. What mic and radio do you use? Great quality even my wife noticed. Have you flown the macPara Colorado yet? I wonder how you would compare freeride and carve to it. I’m demoing the carve soon but fly 18m Colorado now.

    Hey Tom... thanks for this. I notice you don't hold the brake toggles and instead hold above the handle. Why? Do you land like this too?

    • @Tommyflies

      I was just doing that cause the brakes were long. I usually hold the toggles.
