Excellent video. This stuff is definitely the missing manual.

30:49 FINALLY 😃!!!! The answer to my endless searching. I was wondering if the modulation was the same in every (at least these) pedal but specifically the FB. It brought me through a few of these videos though which was awesome. Thanks for the tours ✌️

Around 29 minutes the sound really grabbed my ear. Very nice.

Thank you for the detailed demo! I would kindly ask you to answer the following questions:
    1. Is there a way to make modulation in Corona and Helix work only above a certain frequency so bass frequencies are kept dry?
    2. When I make some changes to Corona (on Plethora X5) and save the toneprint with the "Save TonePrint" button, the values of Speed and Depth 1 change to something else and are saved with the wrong values. I was able only once to make it save the values I want after I tried saving three times in a row, but I didn't notice what made it to save the values. Is this a bug or a feature?
    3. Sometimes changing toneprints in the editor running on Windows 10 either from the artist library or templates, makes a difference in the sound. Sometimes it doesn't make a difference in the sound. Changing toneprints on Plethora device still makes difference in the sound in the cases, when through the app no difference is heard. Again is this a bug in the application - some connectivity issues, or it is expected, and dependent on some configuration. Maybe it is related to question 4 below?
    4. Why saved toneprints don't store the values of the knobs and changing toneprints even from the device keeps the last used values? This might lead to the situation that the difference between toneprints is not apparent, if the FX Level for example is too low and might be the cause for what I described in question 3. Moreover aren't the values of all encoders part of the original idea, when the sound has been programmed, so using completely different values for say Depth, Speed and FX Level might have very different sound than it was intended by the person who programmed it?How do we know what values have been programmed originally for those knobs, when they keep our last edited values, when changing toneprints?
    5. What is the idea behind the modulation in Hall of Fame 2? Does it modulate the wet signal only, or both wet and dry, and if it does both, what's the point in having a separate chorus, flanger etc.? Can we use it then to save one effect slot, if we need more than 5 effects total on the board, and one of them is chorus, flanger etc.?
    6. Have TC ever bothered to write a more detailed user guide for the unit and the app?

Would love to see your take on the Viscous Vibe. I love my plethora, but I am not totally happy with the Univibe sounds I am getting. The closest thing to the real thing I have heard from TC is the "Moistore Vibe" toneprint from Andy Wood, but of course this one is protected so we can't really edit it or learn from it. Great Video! Thanks so much for all of these. you have made digging into my plethora so much faster and more fun.

That fast LFO on the Sub N' Up means you can make it an octavia fuzz. Nice!

Can I play on the tone print without having the actual pisical delay pedal? I want to experience the app before I buy it...
Thank you for your chanel! Very nice
I have another question, can I set the expression pedal to work for a specific preset? So it will work only when I'm using a specific preset, and can I set the expression pedal to tweak another parameter every preset?

Can flashback 2x4 use this modulations parameters?
Can you make a tone print that vibrate more when the input signal is higher and make it less by the signal?

Is there a way to get amplitude modulation (tremolo) out of any of the non-tremolo toneprints?

Awesome vids thanks so much.. I use the FX loop in my Plethora and get an insert even without adding an FX insert to the chain. Do you know how I can swap the order of this insert as sometimes it's at the end of my signal chain, it's an overdrive pedal so that's really not ideal but I don't know how to change it?

any interest in a brainwaves deep dive...or even a toe in the pool? I'd love to play with unison & 8vs below for bass guitar. I can't seem to figure it out in the X5. Thanks for all the great tutorials!

It's on the to-do list 😁 But I'd suggest using the Sub'n'Up Octaver for simple octaves, if you haven't tried it yet? And thank you for the kind words 🙏🏻

Can you replicate a mimiq doubler using the flashback delay?

    • @PedalPlatform
      @PedalPlatform  4 роки тому

Not exactly, but you might be able to use a very short dual delay with a bit of modulation to get a doubler effect. 🤔

Hi thanks for your videos about the Plethora. I recently sent you a question about the Toneprints, Is there a way I can send you a email? I can compensate you for your time off course..I have a lot of issues with the plethora and it doesn`t sound right in my signal chain...Without a manual it is pretty hard to solve things;) All the artists toneprints doesn`t seem to work...it says the connected TP doesn`t support the app....(I run the latest app versions) but again a lot off things don`t work with the Plethora..:( Hopefully I can get it to work otherwise I will send it back and will go with loose pedals I guess
