Hello! So happy to see you around here again! 🤩🤩🤩 Congrats for one more great video. God job again ❤ About X1.... I'm glad to see some new approaches, but it would be better if these new ideas were applied to older (and bigger) brothers X3 and X5.... Thanks!
So glad to see you back with another video!) The X1 is my biggest... Disappointment? Not really. Rather, the biggest bitter bit of truth as opposed to pink sweet dreams)) I have started dreaming about the single-pedal plethora right after the X3 was released. In fact, in some discussion threads I even called this dream X1, without actually knowing it would ever become a reality abd that it would be named exactly this)) TC almost did it right. Almost) The 7 slots with 2 sides each are more than adequate for what it is (a pedal with changing roles, otherwise why should one get it). However, it is plagued by the same curse of terrible external control options, just like any other TC's single-slot TP enabled pedals. Bigger Plethoras were (and still are) unique in that they offer dynamic parameter control over TP effects (expression/midi/both). And this is exactly what I dreamed about for X1. Cmon, TC, you could've fitted in a tiny 1/8th inch TRS MIDI connector, or at least enable MIDI Over BT or even over USB! MASH is awful as a dynamic parameter control, let's be honest. Ramp is MUCH better, could've saved our souls, but for some weird reason TC decided that it's only good for the Viscous Vibe... Really, TC?)))) Ouf... Rant over )) Thank you for the video, excellent and deep, as always. And message to your sponsor: no, with all things discussed above, I am not buying it, dear TC. Learn from Line6) For a tiny bit more money and an almost identical footprint you can make a one-effect-at-a-time multi effects pedal that has it all (full-blown MIDI, ramping onboard, expression, send-return routing option instead of stereo, etc.
It's great to see you again in the world of Plethora! Based on my experience with the X5, I bought the X1 as soon as it was available. I plan to use it on my small pedalboard. Unfortunately, I may have moved too quickly. It will not connect to my Mac via USB cable, nor will it connect via bluetooth to my phone or iPad. I know there are a number of others with the same or similar problems. I've opened a ticket with TC, but no answers so far. I know I will love the X1 - eventually...
I loved my x3 but was disappointed in the lack of updates. Maybe pass that along to your contacts over there? PS: I bought my x3 because of your video content - thank you and happy new year!
Hey, good to see you! Of course, probably can not speak of the thing that cannot be spoken of? I have no clue as I'm not some forum-ite or otherwise connected but always curious about the unfathomable ways of this platform (not pedal) more yew toob...but even on the information super highway...real information seems scarce...Good to see you again. Wishing you a prosperous New Year!
Was looking forward to this. Decided instead to get an hx one which did what I wanted and much more. Then got a stomp and replaced my acs1 and I am super happy.
Another informative video, thanks! I took my X5 off my board before the update to change pedal order (I know, ages ago) and this solves that by making it simpler. The only app available for android in the US is the same old TonePrint app. Is there a new one coming, or is this the right one? Shipping/duites from Thoman to California is a bigger hit than I want to take or else I would absolutely use your affiliate link. I'm hoping I can put the same effect type into multiple slots so I can have multiple A-B pairs of delays/reverbs for example? Thanks again!
Sold my X3 as the post-sale support was really poor and I have no confidence of future updates. Which is a shame because the X1 is the perfect form factor for me, but I would never buy it because of my past experience with TC.

Great to see yoyu back and thanks for another great Plethora intro......shame no MIDI, guess the X3 will be staying on my boards for the moment.

Honestly would’ve been great if they made it like those zoom stomp pedals where you can have multiple effects in the chain in a single pedal footprint

Apple taught everyone to expect easy operation 40 years ago. I’m trying to picture SRV putting a few hours into the learning curve.
tried to leave a comment....it dissappeared!
Yea youtube does that...
Released? The app ain't even released!
I can tell you by all your confusing jibba jabba, that it doesn't keep to the 'KISS' principle. I don't care how good it may sound, Next!
what are you trying to say?
