One of the two best White Stripes shows ever recorded! Under Blackpool Lights and this.. this magnificent performance preserved! This is EXACTLY the sound that I became obsessed with when I was in 8th grade, I'm 35 now, and all through my life the White Stripes remain my favorite band!
@@ScottishTeeVee it’s incredible. I didn’t get into the white stripes until later in life…even though I’m the same age. Thank you sooo much for sharing this video. I was lucky enough to get 4 tickets to The White Stripes 5th gig in the UK (Camden Dingwalls, 30 July 2001). That was only days before the gig you have shared. It remains the best gig I have ever seen! By far! Was lucky to see them during the Elephant then the Get Behind Me Satan eras, had tickets for the Icky Thump tour that was subsequently cancelled. Little did we know at the time that it was the end of the White Stripes. To this day I’ve not seen a band play live that capture the White Stripes energy or spontaneity, such a fantastic band.
