Joe Ryan, Lori’s 3rd husband’s death was never investigated as a murder. There is a petition to investigate it that his sister Annie set up. Throughout the years Lori was obsessed with the stone Malachite. Malachite (powder) is toxic and deadly. In Lori’s group they believed it had ‘healing’ power. However, there is a theory that it could have been the cause of his ‘heart attack’. (Malachite powder or lotion or balm could have been used in Tammy and Alex’s death as well.) Also, interestingly enough Alex, Lori’s brother once tried to kill Joe Ryan. Another interesting thing to know is that Joe Ryan may have had a temper or anger problem but he was cleared in court of any sexual abuse charges toward the kids. Tylee never once accused her father of any sexual abuse and there is great inconsistency with Colby’s claims. The charges were dropped and it was determined Lori was lying to gain custody. After that Joe was actually awarded full custody of Tylee. But then he died. There is a recording of Lori saying she was planning to kill her ex-husband Joe and told friends she paid her brother Alex to do it. All of the info and more can be found on Joe Ryan’s sister’s Channel called “A Murderous Heart”. Annie is extremely methodical and fact based in her claims.

I’d never heard of this awful case until this podcast. Just horrific (now I’ve read ahead on it). Sounds like some demonic influence as well with this set of individuals. They are still doing the Lord's work. I was born and raised Mormon-Listening to the Cultish episodes on Mormonism were incredibly helpful when I left the LDS church.
