I use heavy cream in my morning coffee & also use it to make a low carb soft serve ice cream. 1/2 cup heavy cream, dash of vanilla flavor, 2 tbsp erythritol & 1 cup frozen blue berries...mix all in a bowl until it stiffens. Sometimes I will add 1tbsp cocoa & chopped nuts for added variety.

Zevia sodas are so good! The Creamy Rootbeer with a lil heavy cream taste like a rootbeer float. The orange with a lil heavy cream taste like a 50-50 bar.

Stumbled onto your channel last week. Started using some of your suggestions and lost 4 lbs already, and being diabetic I’ve reduced my glucose levels significantly. Love your recipes. Thank you. I have never been a soda drinker, mostly water or iced coffee. Picked up my first bag of pork rinds today, as I need the crunch factor.

You hit on something that is just as important as the keto life itself…The ingredients! Reading labels honestly became my big thing after deciding to go keto.
Companies are very sneaky and even though “natural” and even “keto friendly” is a current food trend, you must watch out for tricky and misleading labels.
Companies use those things to discourage us from even reading labels.
Great video and thank you for all you do. I always recommend your channel to those new to keto! 👍🏻
Also, Zevia sugar free soda is a great soda replacement.
And when it comes to quick sweets for keto, there’s the Keto and Nick’s brand ice creams for a grab and go fix!

I am so glad that you put out this video. I am considering switching from the keto diet to the carnivore diet so go really low to no carbs and it is nice to know that I can still use my olive oil and eat pickles and olives as a snack. Even though I really don't use a lot of salt, the good thing is you don't have to restrict sodium. I absolutely love pickles and haven't been eating them that much while on a keto type diet. The one huge change I am going to have to make is to stop putting a strawberry lemon-aid drink mix sweetened with stevia in my water because it cuts out any kind of sugar or sugar substitute. I have all kinds of health issues that are related to inflammation so the carnivore diet attracted me because it can drastically lower your insulin and blood sugar and it also promotes collagen production that will reduce loose skin during weight loss.

I use Alpro products, I don't know if you have them in the US but their soy milk and yogurt come with no added sugar varieties and they're great if you don't want too much dairy. Tofu is also a great snack, it's very low carb - I cube it, marinade it and throw it in the air fryer for 20 minutes and it comes out really tasty and chewy rather than soft. Nice on a salad too.

One thing I keep in mind, nutrition labels are not always on the up and up. Manufacturer's will set serving size to get the nutrition labels to look a certain way... Carb count for example, getting a 0 on the carb line may not be a true zero, I'm more prone to round up, things like heavy cream, cheese, pork rinds with flavoring and many more things I consider each serving as 1 carb over zero as they have played with serving size to get 0 on the label... Where it's actually .4 carbs and that carb creep can really add up... Just something to keep in mind!
