I finished my set yesterday and the progression was something like this: just 6set (T8) -> yang's (T11) -> crimson set + rorg (T13) -> quiver (T16) -> strafe power (GR90+) -> focus/restraint and squirts after that. The biggest boost since getting set was the strafe power (and primal ancient weapon from sanctifying), GL to anyone starting DH to get it on first try so you can start blasting high torments straight away.

Bro, I was having the same issues lol. I am not even much of a Demon Hunter player having played monk the last 3 seasons, but I think it's time to dust it off and give it a season. The farming is insanely fast.
@@doakesanddrax DH's sanctified powers will go away after this season, but Tal Rasha build is here to stay, and the only sanctified power you can pair for Tal Rasha (storm armor) isn't that noticeable of a buff, so I'm gonna play the crap out of DH strafe impale and UE, and maybe some marauder cluster arrow power just to try, and then go to Necro/Barb for the same reason (their sanctified powers are fun and only for this season). I may then move onto Tal Rasha, but no rush.
I got as much resource cost reduction and speed as possible, now I hold Strafe and spam Vengeance + Smoke screen to use it on CD. This build makes you FLY through rifts with 0 brain power required to track any CDs/buffs/uptime on items. I don't even bother to use generator to proc focus/restraint + bracers, because everything already dies off screen. It's the most fun I had in a while in D3.

The strafe power is insane. I think it’s probably the most synergistic and beneficial to your season. I’m gonna start this to farm up to paragon ~1200 and then move into Wizard 🧙♂️

Usually around p1200 I have enough mats to do a huge crafting session on an alt and get all of the items I need, some well rolled ancients, and throw some augments on to hit the ground running. I play mostly solo so P1200 takes a minute, so this is usually around the time I’m also just looking for a new playstyle to continue farming with. Once a character is fully augmented and I’m only looking for GG gloves/jewelry/shoulders, the upgrades come very rarely and I start to get tired of farming since I can’t hope to keep up with the no-lifers on the leaderboard anyways…so yeah. Good time to switch to an alt. This season though I actually ended up going to rehab a few weeks into the season. I’m just over 2 months sober now and looking fwd to season 28!
Wish they could re-work the Unhallowed Essence Set so that it solely focuses on Vengeance and multishot . i'd definitely change/ alter the 2 & 4 piece unhallowed essence set so that it somewhat include vengeance and/or multishot ,no point including primary skill buff in the 6 piece - if you want to utilise primary skills, use GOD set.
I wish UE would buff other skills. Imagine if we could run around with viable Elemental Arrow lol Or at least just mix it up with Cluster Arrow. I'm very sad we didn't see any buff this season with Krider shot to allow Strafing Elemental Arrow to be a top tier build
Im torn between this and the necro build raxx showcased. That necro build just looks so much fun and as powerfull as this DH build.... I think in the end UE MS will be faster run speed wise for T16 but man that necro build visually looks pleasing.

You can do this build on seasonal which is recommended that you play seasonal. Seasonal has some extra gimmicks and you get a free set when you complete season journey quests (chapter 2-3-4, each gives 2 parts) instead of having to grind for it. Though you might want to play the campaign first then check the seasonal if you want to.

With half decent stat rolls, your damage is already going to be largely overkill on T16 even without hexing pants. As you get better pieces, higher gems, more paragons, etc it will even more so be the case. It's better to use a utility item in the cube.
@@defaultui9625 Hexxing pants provide at least equal(if not better) resource reduction than Pride's Fall, due to being active 100% of the time. The extra damage is not negligible, since you might swap Zei's for Wreath of Lightning for more 25% move speed.
For me the strategy is clear t15 or t16 keys so I can open straight away GR70 for primals. As soon as you get your full set this is what I do, t16 keys and then GR70. Saves time to go from gr 20 to 70, less keys needed. when the primal dropped then I can do lower if needed, which is usually not needed

I’m about 50/50 it will get deleted/ stay primal. That said if I have a bunch of extra ac at end of season I’ll upgrade specific items just in case they remain primal.
I have a question regarding pushing: Are the autocasted multishots (and impales, it sort of affect both builds, but shadow impale less) an exception to the "procs do not proc procs" rule, or can you drop the area dmg when pushing?
Im struggling to decide on Tal/Meteor Wizard start vs UE Demon Hunter - because Wizard speed build with Tal requires no Sanctified items and can clear t16 very fast, but not this fast,but the problem is for this build to work you need the Sanctified power where the Wizard doesn't and then this caps at 110ish where the Tal Wizard has no cap. Both are about the same speed to 70...I can't see the UE Demon Hunter having it easier start at 70 than the Wizard build just because of how many modifiers you can quickly get on the Wizard without Sanctified. The struggles...
Get the gifts from the season bag, play standard UE for an hour or two, then you probably have full god set. Play standard god or standard UE, whichever is stronger, until you get sanctified yangs, then switch back to UE and blast.
Getting crucibles to sanctify item is really not that hard. You get ~3-4 per hour at start, so on average 1 hour of farming with just 6set from Haedrics gift will give you the Strafe power and boost you massively. By that time you also collect all the other multipliers like quiver, ring set, squirts, crimson/guardian set and you're ready to blast like in the video.
Every time I try to use this build it lags the game to a crawl… I don’t get it. My FoH crusader is perfectly fine and not a single instance of lag yet the second I try to use my DH it’s a slide show… don’t know if it’s the game itself or what but I’m bummed out I can’t play this, seems very fun
Dumb question, but are you exclusively using the build to grind paragon and not gear? Like are you not looting any of those legendary and set drops that I see dropping?
He's playing PTR in this video. No reason to pick up items unless you see red beam on it meaning Primal. In PTR a bag cost 50 blood shards and gives you all set for that class, another bag is all offhand, another bag ill give you all gems, another bag will give you all mats including bounty mats,...etc, etc
Has anyone figured out why a Sanctified Weapon (Yang's with Cluster boost) would disable evade for DH? I'm on a PS4, the controller's right stick absolutely refuses to function. It works just fine with a regular weapon, or no weapon at all. Help?
I went crazy on stacking RCR so I never have to release Strafe button or use generator, but with this speed I'm getting paragon levels so fast, it refills my hatred/discipline every few seconds :D Sure, with more paragon levels this won't be the case, but damn, it's "Inna monk with 4p raiment" level of fast.
I figured it out and saw that nobody responded so I got you bud when you select your skill it has arrows at the top and you can switch between the trees and select both
Notice in these vids he never picks anything up? That's the major issue with this build...stopping to pick something up is gonna one shot you by most monsters. It is speedy, yes. But very squishy. Consider giving up some speed for defense...especially if you are hardcore.
You can run gold wrap but you'll be dropping captain crimsons. Boon of the hoarder is there for the pickup radius for the globes to complete the rifts even faster.

How is this better than god at rifts? It moves slower and either build already one shots anything in t16. The biggest limiting factor in rifts is the distance from elite to elite, and god closes that the fastest.
How does it move slower? God dh runs a bunch of movement spd passives and moves quick because of strafe. The new multishot build uses the same strafe passive and movement speed passive except clears the whole screen and all random objects even faster than the god dh. Also it runs yangs which has amazing resource cost reduction so you can spam smokescreen off cooldown
The GOD set requires you to cast your primary to keep your stacks up while this build doesn't, or at least use a primary every 5 seconds. GOD is fast but this variant of strafe will blow up the screen while GOD cannot do that as fast. I feel like I am missing a very important thing... Uhm... UHM...>! OH! It's the starting set for when you start to farm.
This is what I hate most, that DB's aren't on autoloot. Having to stop spinning every elite pack in T16 is extremely annoying and stops the fun of the actual "speed" run. If it was just for Keys sure...but for DB Farming having to stop spinning is obnoxious.
I can't get ancient gear with good rolls, i've not had a single piece of ancient gear from the UE set.. haven't seen a single goldwrap drop in forever either. And every cube reroll is worse than the last. It's so sad. also, wtf. I found a tier list and it said marauder sentry build is S-tier, and this is only A-tier, along with the impale build ??

how did you get it? I've been trying upgrading in the cube, and straight up gambling at kadala. no luck paragon 500 :(

For t16 solo, I'm pretty sure hexxing pants is better in cube, also why not use rechel's ring instead of unity(follower don't even use anyways)

This is what I hate most, that DB's aren't on autoloot. Having to stop spinning every elite pack in T16 is extremely annoying and stops the fun of the actual "speed" run. If it was just for Keys sure...but for DB Farming having to stop spinning is obnoxious.

I can't get ancient gear with good rolls, i've not had a single piece of ancient gear from the UE set.. haven't seen a single goldwrap drop in forever either.
