Straight and clear explanation. Yeah I think I am at the right platform to get over my hurdles over sometime now in my building carrier. Thanks for the good job.
it's very clear explanation for labour productivity thank you so much for making this video it's very useful to me and please continue as this same teaching method.
sir please make a video on how to collect the data and types of various primary and secondary datas for labour productivity analysis by linear regression model.
Dear Ahmed thank you for these type of such videos i am your permanent viewer can you please tell me is there any standard productivity of all the construction activities thanks
Thank you Engr Ahmed Really Informative Would request you to give more information on standard productivity for various Activities in construction as you give in example 8sq of shuttering can be done by 1 Shuttering carpenter and a helper
Thank you Qadir, I'll also get into equipment in the near future, but let's finish talking about manpower first, since equipment will need complete understanding of economic analysis and net present value which is a very big topic on its own.
hi there ,very clear your presentations,so far nobody did it on you tube,by the way would you be able doing a concised/detailed tutorial about the net present value as per PMP,regards
Every cost engineer establishes his own, because this will vary depending on so many reasons. I suggest you start collecting such information and create a productivity sheet. Then from there keep updating it.
@@CEPQS thanks. I’m new and would like an idea of what the averages should be. For example, your mason crew can lay 80 cinder blocks per day. This is about what I saw on a recent project but I didn’t know if they were performing at or below average. Is this a resource you provide with your course?
Mr. Adel thanks for your valuable channel Can you give us excell sheet for labor productivity or man hour data please And how can we find labor productivity in particular for our project i mean how can i collet data
Hello 👋🏻. I believe what you are asking for can be found in this video 👍 Labor Productivity Rates For Construction Projects ua-cam.com/video/-_DoIh-gsLs/v-deo.html
Thank you for the informative lecture you have given. I really liked your second example on arriving 50 crew in 1,000 sq.m work. Although in theory is correct, this leads me to think on, what would be the arrangement of crew in lay outing these tiles, assuming the crew cant step on the finished laid tiles by them or the other crew, considering the area of 1,000 sq.m to be a square. Can anyone solve the puzzle ? :D ..
Thank you for watching and support. This is more related to the sequence of work. If the site allows then theory is correct. If it doesn’t then the assumption while estimating should be different 🙂
There are several ways to find out productivity of various labor categories / activities. But the most reliable source in my opinion is the one that you have witnessed yourself. 👍
I’d say you get that from the involvement of the skilled trades during this estimation and scheduling activities of the project. He talked about it in 5:53
@@CEPQS, it's more informative video for me if you share me its excel sheet then also good and I want to more detail for labour productivity that's why I was asking any labour productivity book.

This is great. Is there a table of tasks by phase and an estimated productivity for each crew handling each task available somewhere?

I'm guessing, if it's a square, teams can start in the middle of the square or from the 4 corners and tile their way inwards
Do you have sir a list of productivity rates per scope of work?
Yes ☺️ will discuss the rate for each scope in an upcoming video 😊
How do you the produtivity rate is as accurate as possible?
About BOQ with example & sample video
From where u got this productivity? It's based on your personal experience or as per any specifications or rules?

at 12:44, Isn't it 1000 m2 divided by 20 m2/day will yield to 50 days? which doesn't make sense?
That’s correct if you only have 1 crew

Thank you so much ❤️

India
How did you calculate the productivity per crew = 20 m2/day?
Depends on how much work your company labors can do. You can find it out through observation or historical data
Or any other resource
