One of my grandparents died from scratching himself on a tree. He was a tough SOB, so it was really surprising. If I remember correctly, the wound got infected with a fungus that lived on the bark and turned gangrenous, which ultimately killed him. If your immune system is shot (from being old or immunocompromised) or busy with something else like a nasty cold, it's entirely plausible to die from something that seems so insignificant. Mother nature is always trying to kill you, and Zomboid mostly captures that matra.
well.. in that case, it wasn't the scratch, it was the fungus. but yes, as tough and sturdy as human beings can be, falling from multiple story buildings and living (or even in a couple cases, falling from skydiving without a parachute and surviving), you can just as easily trip and bonk your head on the floor and die.

@@sabinasabino141 Writing was perhaps the most disruptive technology bar farming, much more than the latest smart fish bowl or whatever. It gave many benefits obviously, mostly the ability to save and distribute knowledge to people and administrate stuff, but also came with the fact that people started writing notes and stuff, and its something we aren't evolved for. Google says someone claims note taking does make you specifically forget what you're writing. Perhaps we are still learning ways we must regulate our own usage of the technology of writing, lest we suffer as we have done with many other technologies.
I've been doing the CDDA start nonstop for the last few weeks and I noticed a few things some people might find useful: 1. If you can find enough towels in the first house, drying yourself will avoid the sneezing for long enough to find clothes 2. The groin damage/infection isn't lethal after removing the glass and bangaging. It's not worth it to prioritize over getting rid of the sneezing (getting warm, dry and decently fed) 3. Using Shift + Scroll Wheel in the inventory menus is the fastest way of traversing containers. This will make raiding kitchens much much faster There's more knowledge to impart but these three will probably be the most helpful to yall
i love the antidepressants effect in this game bc i know there’s a limit to realism and this game does an INSANELY good job of challenging those limits with every tiny detail. including medically - they even include BETA BLOCKERS as an object, something i’ve never heard discussed outside of mentally ill circles or by folks with blood pressure issues, but i truly hope they don’t change the antidepressants thing to become realistic because it is so funny to imagine just chomping down zoloft like it’s a thing of mini m&m’s and boom your sadness just leaves for awhile, no bad effects nor further effort needed.

Pro tip: Use the click to move function when going through trees. Your character will automatically travel the path where they won't get caught on branches, usually.

Great video as always, ambiguous! For the next challenge, try facing up against super zombies (I'm not sure what you should title it.) Basically, you'd go into sandbox and set a bunch of stats inside of zombie lore to maximum, primarily making them sprinters (I recommend you don't change zombie strength, and also don't let zombies be able to use doors, but it's still all up to you!)
Wow that is some divine level of "I will get through this no matter what" feeling. Also try "Better Literacy: A Literature Overhaul" mod that make you able to learn how to read through it takes a loooong while.
This guy is the most underrated UA-camr I've seen, he is not only hilarious but insanely resourceful. A bit more exposure and we're going to be seeing 1mil subscribers very soon
You can walk around without stiching deep wound on your groin. 2-3 days and you are good as new. Single dirty rag will do. Ohh.. You dont need to bandage stiched wound :D

He sneezed, dropped the bottle on the floor and fell into it under the weight of his clothes. This is also how he got the glass in his leg.

For the next challenge, try facing up against super zombies (I'm not sure what you should title it.) Basically, you'd go into sandbox and set a bunch of stats inside of zombie lore to maximum, primarily making them sprinters
(I recommend you don't change zombie strength, and also don't let zombies be able to use doors, but it's still all up to you!)
