yeah cause waiting staffs are well paid in China, some of them even offered with free lunch and dinner everyday with fair wage. unlike in Canada, waiting staff are only paid with minimun wage and they mainly live with tips.

Uyghurs and Uzbeks basically share the same culture and language except the Uzbeks had been under the rule of Russians for decades and forced to switch to Cyrillic alphabet while the Uyghurs in Xinjiang continue to use the Arabic alphabet till this day.
Chinese gov respects minorities.

The dish is called shou zhua fan, which means hand catch rice literally
It's how han Chinese call it, but its name is osh or plov or palou
"手抓饭" is pilaf.
sometimes it doesn't directly translate to the first meaning. it's more like "hand grabbed rice", hand catch rice would be more like 手接到了饭. this is how some supermarkets mistranslated "dried goods" to "fuck the goods", because 干 could mean both.

Love your China videos. I was in Shanghai at the 2nd half of May. I went to a Moroccan restaurant ran by an old gentleman from Morocco. The food was great, better than what I had in Morocco. There are many Turkish restaurants, too. Xingjiang restaurants are all over the country.

推荐你去西安尝尝羊肉泡馍，有三种吃法，干泡 、口汤、水围城。
我们这边的穆斯林餐厅融合了一些满汉菜系的技法，比如炒、扒、溜、爆、呛、焖还有铁板，不是只有烤、煎、炖和炸。
