Perfect simulation for beach situations. I think it'll give a very nice light and airy feel and I did love the way it affected the grass. It kind of reminded me of the portrait warm 400 sim
Good stuff. I just got my X Pro 1 with a 18mm F2. I also have a X100V as well I love them both but something magical about the older Fuji. Love to see more XP1 stuff.
The soft low contrast dreamy vibe you are describing is most likely from the lens you are using. Vintage lenses often have less contrast and sometimes bloom in the highlights.
true! but if you notice the difference between the raws vs the simulation recipe, one definitely has a more faded look. that's the vibe i was referring to, since the vintage lens doesnt affect the image to that degree
you can google "1979 film simulation recipe" and try and input the same settings. not sure if it'll be the same however since the recipe was intended for the x-t1
I got a question. You said that you shot raw + fine right? Well on my xpro 1 I cnt shoot raw+fine, is it because I'm in film simulation bracket? I just got it today and trying to figure out how to use it 🤦🏿♂️
yep, i shoot raw + fine. I don't think bracketing should change that, I can bracket just fine. Try changing the settings under "image quality" to RAW + F. If its not letting you do so, I'm not sure
More Xpro1 stuff pleaseee!! Really enjoy these videos :)
just posted another one :) will try and make more!
It does super well in low dynamic range scenes. It renders the warm tones and pastel colors very well in those scenes
i agree!
I bought a x pro 1 this week because of this video. Keep up the great work!
wow, thats awesome! i hope you enjoy it!

Beautiful photographs, made even lovelier by your choice of background music!
thank you! glad you enjoyed it🙂
Hey I recently bought an X-pro 1 thanks to ur video !
How do you fix the white balance to 6300k ? :)

thanks! yes so true, different feelings
beautiful photographs. which iso should I use?
For me this is the most impressive Simulation I've seen so far. I will try it with an X Trans 3 Sensor, I hope it works.
Wow I took some pictures of that same car that was located on Redondo right past Willow.. it’s no longer there .. wonder what happened to it ?
what a wonderfully beautiful video (and educational too!)
thank you!
what a beautiful recipe and video.
thanks for the video man, good job very creative
🍉
Fantastic video and great recipe. Love the Wes Anderson style to these images with the symmetry and colouring
thank you 🙂
Hey man, great video ! I’m curious what white balance setting did you have on the XPro1
6300k
do you have a more contrast-ish recipes for xpro-1?
Great video! Really like the chill piano music too

Really like your pictures and videos! Keep em coming :) Greetings from Cologne
thanks, means a lot ! :)
Great vibe, I'd like to get them in camera with my Olympus Pen F. I should play with its color wheel...
thanks! i’m not too familiar w olympus but definitely try new things!
I have an EM5II and the jpgs from it are great, so I can imagine Pen F having good ones too.
@@segzeeman7356 yes, the Pen F produces really nice jpegs...
What settings you usually shoot on for xpro1 ?
hey! how do i change white balance to 6300K like in the recipe on xpro1??
May i know which adapter to buy to mount this baby to x-pro1?
any kr-fx adapter should work!
Where is the film simulation recipe ? Great video.
thanks! you can look up 1979 film simulation recipe and it should pop up :)
I have a xt 1 but I do not know how to get this simulation recipe. Could you kingly explain. Thanks
yep! look up “1979 film simulation recipe” and follow the instructions on the website to change your settings in camera to match :)
Thinking about buying the xpro 1, the mythic helios 55m f2 and use them with this film simulation recipe. Wish me luck with the result
best of luck! sounds like a great combo :)

Not necessarily- as the film emulsion and processing of the times has a certain look...
Awesome images, well done!
thanks!
Thanks for a good video.
I like it. Now I'm your 1k subscriber. 😁😁😁
thank you! the support means a lot!
Lively video. When you shot the raw image of the car, we're your recipe settings still applied?
*Lovely
thank you! i shot in raw + jpeg, but i don't believe the settings affect the raws
Magic collection - you have a great eye. As for the '1979' I rate its dusty/hazy look but as you say wouldn't use it for everything.
thank you!
How Can I Get This Film Simulation On My XE1 .. ???
you can google "1979 film simulation recipe" and try and input the same settings. not sure if it'll be the same however since the recipe was intended for the x-t1
images look amazing!
thank you!
Will this work on a XT30?!!
maybe - you can try it out but the sensors are different so it'll probably look different
More xpro 1 videos!!
Wicked!!
i love this thanks for sharing! I will subscribe to you. i hope you make more content like this
thanks! glad you enjoyed it :)
love the pictures. the colours are maybe a bit too saturated for me.
thanks! it does seem to have that effect a bit

5:30 Raw file all day here.

Just looks like faded film.
